Rose's Point of View

I got up from my seat on the balcony and walked over to the edge, and looked down.
"Hmm it doesn't look like too far of a drop. Maybe I can make it and finally be able to successfully escape this time. I would love to see my family again."

I climbed onto the ledge and was about to jump off when Alex bursted through the balcony doors and grabbed me by the waist, and proceeded to drag me into the room,

"What the hell do you think you're doing Rose?" He asked me, eyes shone with fury.

                                                                           Alex's Point of View

I walked into the room just in time to see Rose about to jump off the balcony. I ran across the room and threw the doors open. I grabbed her around the waist and dragged her into the room.

"What the hell do you think you're doing Rose?" I asked her.

"I was going to jump off the balcony and try to escape." She simply told me, shrugging.

"Are you insane? It's a fifty foot drop from the balcony to the ground. If the fall didn't kill you then you're legs would have shattered and you would have broken several other bones," I take a breath, "Besides I've already told you that you would never be able to escape. I warned you that your punishment would be more severe the next time you tried to escape, but no you had to ignore me." I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose,

"I don't want to punish you and hurt you, but you leave me no choice but to punish you for your disobedience, and to teach you not to escape. Hopefully this time you will learn your lesson and you will not try to escape again."

In response, one side of her mouth curled up into a smile, smirk almost.

"Oh? And what's the punishment?" She casually sat down in a chair.

Really fed up with her shit now, I kicked one leg of the chair, causing it to snap and Rose swiftly fell to the ground and I fought the urge to laugh.

"The beginning of your punishment starts with you no longer being able to go to the balcony. Secondly, a female gaurd will enter the restroom with you to ensure you will not escape through a window. Your food will now be brought to you. Finally, when you absolutely have to leave this vicinity, 3 guards will be following you." I explain and her face turns red with anger.

She growls lowly," This is bullshit!  How would you feel if some crazed Werewolf King kidnapped you, and then proceeded to make your life more of a living hell, huh?"

"Well, I wouldn't know, because I'm not being a brat. Brat's get punished for throwing temper tantrums and trying to escape their room. Would you rather be locked in the cells, that are covered in dirt, mold, and probably blood? Be grateful I put you in a room and not there. Be glad that I haven't had some of the horny unmated wolves take advantage of you. Because I can order for that to happen. Be glad I am keeping you safe from some pack members that want you dead. Appreciate what I have given you instead of what you don't have!" I open and close my fists and take a deep breath.

She looks at me, then to the floor, "Okay." She says quietly,"But get this, Alex. I will escape from here, even if it's the last thing I do." She whips up her finger and the door promptly opens. She puts both hands up now and I'm moved out of the room, the door closing behind me.

She sure is one piece of work.

                                                                               Rose's Point of View

I paced around the room irritated with Alex.

"The audacity of that man! Who does he think he is to tell me I that I have to stay in this room and that I have to have a guard with me when I got to the bathroom. I won't have someone watch me while I pee! That's degrading and awkward."

Suddenly I heard a lot of commotion going on in the house. I cracked the door opened and stuck my head out.

"What's going on?" I asked the guard standing guard outside my room.

"It seems that your parents have sent an army of vampires to King Alex's territory to get you back." The guard told me.

"What! Why would they do that when they know its a suicide mission to send our people here. He's gonna kill them all."

"That's not my problem now is it?"

"Now go back into your room and close the door behind you." The guard commanded me.

I did as I was told and went back into the room closing the door behind me.

"Why would you do this father? You knew this was a bad idea but you chose to send an army after me anyway knowing non of them would return."

I sat on the bed and strained my  ears to hear what was going on outside.I didn't want to hear the sounds of the battle when it started but I had to know what was going on. A few minutes of silence passed before I heard the faint sounds of vampires yelling and wolves howling signalling the start of the battle.

How will the battle go and what will Rose do the next time she sees Alex?
