I woke up to my alarm. My phone was playing Victorious by Panic! At The Disco. I turn off my alarm and got ready for the day. I took a quick shower and put on ripped black skinny jeans, a black My Chemical Romance band tee, and my black combat boots. I put my hair up in a pony tail and put on a light amount of make-up. I inspected my self in the mirror, and satisfied with how I looked I grabbed my phone and went downstairs to eat breakfast with my family before I went to school.

My family and I lived in a big mansion in Pennsylvania. Now I know what you might be thinking right now. I'm a princess so shouldn't I be living in a castle? I would be living in a castle if it weren't for the fact that humans have no idea that vampires or even werewolves for that matter exist. So in order for my family to blend in and not cause the humans to be suspicious of us we live in a mansion and live a life similar to a human.

Plus, we are at war with the werewolves, so living in a castle isn't the best idea because that would be the first place the werewolves would look for us. My brother Milo, my sister Thea, and I look like teenagers so we have to go to high school. My parents also got jobs to help them blend in with the humans.

"Hey honey." My mom chirped from behind the counter, making breakfast.

My dad as usual was at his spot engulfed in work. Being the Vampire King sure does put a lot of stress on him.

"There was another ambush. Small village of about 150, all wiped out." My father said quietly and slammed his fist on the counter.

Milo finally came downstairs, dressed in dark jeans and a Navy blue tee with a rustic leather jacket. Behind him was Thea, with her dark brown hair sculpting her round face with emerald eyes, and thin lips. Milo smirked and stuck his foot out, causing Thea to trip and drop her school bag and various romance novels.

She fell loudly and narrowed her eyes like daggers, glaring at her twin. Milo in response put his hands up and walked away. He passed me and I smacked the back of his head. He fake cried and I helped Thea grab her stuff back up.

"Thanks." She said softly and took her seat at the counter.

I did the same and ate breakfast. We all eventually got to the car and entered the mundane building known as high school. I caught up with my friend Clara and we went to class. The day passed in a blur and before I knew the bell had rung signaling that school was out. My siblings and I got into our car and went home.

Dinner was waiting for us. I quickly ate and went to my room for the rest of the night. I showered and puts some pajamas on. I decided to go to bed so I turned off the lights and laid down.

I woke up for the 6th time and looked at the clock. It was 12 o'clock. I knew I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep so I decided to sneak out of the house and go for a long walk. I slipped on my converse and my jacket and quietly snuck down stairs and out the front door.

It took me a few minutes to sneak past the guards, but once I did I was home free. I aimlessly walked for what seemed like hours not having a specific destination in mind. I soon came upon a forest as big as the eye could see and then some. I decided to walk into the forest, and boy was that such a horrible idea.

I became horribly lost the moment the road disappeared. I tried to walk back towards the road but only succeeded in getting myself even more lost. I walked around aimlessly until I froze upon hearing a twig snap. After a few moments of silence I convinced myself my mind was playing tricks on me and continued walking. Shortly after I started walking again I heard a twig snap and then another one snap. I knew instantly that I was being followed by something, and I took off running.

I used my vampiric speed to try to get away. Whatever was following me was easily staying behind me and I knew a normal animal wasn't following me. I was being followed by a werewolf, and I was in his territory. I knew instantly that I was screwed. He howled, and his howl was followed by 5 more howls. I stopped knowing I was never going to get away from 6 werewolves when I was hopelessly lost in their territory that they knew like the back of their hand.
