Alex's Point of View

I woke up early at 6 AM to go to my office to take care of the growing pile of paperwork covering the top of my desk. I got out of bed slowly, careful not to wake Rose up, and I grabbed a t-shirt and some jeans from the closet and took a quick shower. After my shower I got dressed and put some black converse on, and left a note telling Rose I was in my office so she didn't worry about me when she woke up to find me missing from the bed. Before I left the room I looked back at her sleeping form. She looked so beautiful and peaceful when she slept. Her body was curled around my pillow with her head buried in it because the pillow had my scent on it.

I walked out of the room and shut the door quietly behind me. I went to the kitchen and grabbed some pop tarts before going to my office. I got to my office and sat in my desk chair, and stared dejectedly at the mountain of paperwork on my desk. I popped my knuckles, picked up a pen, and got to work on the papers. Someone knocked on the door when I was about a quarter of the way through the papers.

"Come in," I called out.

The door opened to reveal non other than Amber, the pack slut, standing behind the door. I glared at her as she came into the room. She was swaying her hips in a way that was suppose to look sexy but it didn't.

"Hey Alex. Need some help with that?" She smiled seductively, placing her hands on the edge of my desk, revealing her fake cleavage.

"It's King Alexander to you. Leave." I ordered and she whined like a child would.

"But whyyyy? You used to love spending your free time with me. Forget that blood sicker and let's go have some fun." Amber said, gritting her teeth.

"Leave." I ordered once again, clenching my fist.

Amber cried out loud, and quickly went around the desk, sitting on my lap and smashing her lips against mine. I growled and pushed her off of me as I heard the door shut. She glanced up at me in fear and Rose's scent drifted into the room. She had saw what happened.

"Out!" I yelled and Amber whimpered and scurried out if the room.

I sighed loudly and threw the stack of papers off the desk, chucking the lamp at the wall. My wolf was acting out, disappointed in us for letting that happen. A maid peeked her head in the room.

"What do you need Karen?" I groaned in annoyance.

"Is everything okay sir?" She asked with concern.

"No. Clean this up. I need to find Rose." Pushing past her, I followed the angelic scent.

The scent takes me outside, where I find Rose sitting on a swing. Her hair was whipping around her face bc of the strong wind. She was buring her face in her hands, crying her eyes out. I crouched down in front of her, and took her hand in mine. She tore her hands from mine and refused to look at me. That really hurt me, but considering what she though she saw its understandable for her to act like this towards me.

"Hey Rose, please look at me and hear me out." I asked her.

"Why should I hear you out after what I saw you doing with that slut?" She asked me with malice in her voice and a death glare on her face.

If looks could kill I'd be dead right now. I gulped. In this moment I was afraid of Rose for the first time since I met her. She had a truly terrifying look on her face, but I needed to get over my fear and talked to her before I lost her bc of what that slut did.

"Look Rose I understand what you think you saw but it wasn't like that all. Someone knocked on the door and I told them to come in. It turned out to be the pack slut. She tried to seduce me which would never work and told me to leave you and have some fun with her. I told her no and told me to get out. She didn't get what I told her, and sat on my lap and kissed me before I could even react. I would never kiss or touch her like that when I have you, my mate. Please you have to believe me. I love you and I would never do anything to hurt you my beautiful Rose."

"So you've done things with her before Alex?" She asked me with a hurt look on his face.

"Unfortunantly yes I did. It was before I even met you and it was only bc she caught me in my time of weakness when I was lonely because I didn't have my mate. I searched for you my entire life. I would never do anything with her after I met you. I regret laying a even a finger on her before I met you. I don't want anything to do with her please believe me."

"Alright I believe and forgive you. Please promise you won't do anything like that ever again ok Alex." She asked me.

I promised and took her hand, pulling her up from the swing she was sitting on. We took a walk through the forest to clear our minds. After walking for about 15 minutes I suddenly came up with a great idea to make her feel better. I should take her to the mall and then take her on a date to dinner tonight. That should hopefully help patch things up between us.

"Hey Rose I have an idea. How about I take you and Gloria to the mall to go shopping for clothes and stuff. Then later tonight I take you out to dinner as a date. How does that sound?"

"That sounds fun. Lets do it Alex." Rose agreed.

I gave her a big grin and hugged her. I walked her back to the house so we could get ready to go to the mall. I mind linked Gloria to tell her she was going to the mall with Rose and I. She was exstatic. I was determined to make this afternoon and tonight great for Rose after what happened earlier this morning.
