Alex's Point Of View

I sat on my bed with Rose. I held her hand in mine and we stared into each others eyes. I broke the silence first.

"Hey Rose may I kiss you?" I asked her.

"Of course." She said with a smile.

I closed my eyes and leaned towards her and kissed her. My lips exploded in sweet, tingly shocks the moment my lips touched hers. Her lips tasted so sweet and heavenly to me. I wanted more so I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance. She denied me and broke the kiss. I opened my eyes and looked at her. I was shocked and a little hurt that she broke off the kiss so suddenly.

"What's wrong Rose? Why did you break the kiss? Did I do something wrong?" I frantically asked her. worry evident in my voice.

"No you didn't do anything wrong Alex. What you did was ok. I'm just not ready  for that yet. That's all. I'm sorry for breaking off the kiss like that." She told me.

"That's alright my beautiful Rose. Take all the time you need. I won't force you to do something you don't wont to do or are not ready for. Ok Rose."

She said ok and gave me a hug. We then laid down and cuddled together. I turned on the TV and we watched Netflix for a few hours until someone nocked on the door. Rose got up to answer it. It turned out to be Gloria at the door. I guess it was time for her to give Rose a tour of the pack house now.

                                                                   Rose's Point Of View

I got up to answer the door to find Gloria standing behind it.

"Come on Rose its time for me to give you a small tour of the place." She said cheerfully.

She looped her arm through mine. I told Alex we would be back later before she all but dragged me out the door. She took me down all the halls so that I would know how to find my way around the house. She took me to the game room again and then showed me where the door to the dungeons was so I didn't accidently go down there by mistake. She then took me to her room. She would show me where the kitchen was at dinner time. We stopped at her door and she led me into the room.

"This is my room. You can come here to talk to me or hangout with me whenever you want Rose." She told me.

I looked around her room. It was set up exactly like Alex's room but all the furniture was made of a dark, almost black colored cherry wood and the room had a feminine touch to it that Alex's room did not have. Her room was painted a pretty dark blue color.

We sat on the bed and talked for hours until someone came to tell us dinner was ready. We walked down together and entered the kitchen. When I walked in everyone stopped talking and eating and stared or glared at me as I passed. I quickly got my food and went to Alex's room to avoid the stares and glares from the wolves. I stayed there until Alex came to find me.

                                                                        Alex's Point Of View

I went to my office to do some paperwork after Rose left with Gloria. Someone came to get me when it was dinnertime. I sat all through dinner waiting for Rose to show up but I never came. That made me worried so I searched all around the house to find her. I eventually found her in our room.

"There you are. I looked everywhere for you Rose. Why didn't you come to dinner? I was waiting for you to come but you never did."

"Well when Gloria and I got to the kitchen everyone stopped eating and talking and stared or glared at me. I couldn't stand to be stared at all through dinner so I brought my food up here and I've been in your room ever since then." Rose told me.

"The room belongs to both of us now, and I'm so sorry about that Rose. Let me make it up to you by taking you on a walk through the forest."

She agreed and we left the pack house and walked to the forest. We walked through the woods hand in hand in comfortable silence. I brought her to the lake with the beautiful waterfall casting down into it that I showed her once before. We sat down and put our feet in the cool water. The peace and quiet didn't last long because all of a sudden we heard some twigs snap and the bushes close to us rustle. I jumped up and pulled Rose onto her feet with me. I put her behind me and crouched down into a fighting stance to protect her from whomever was behind the bushes.
