Rose's Point Of View

He dragged me out the door and down what seemed like an endless precession of halls before we finally stopped at a door. He opened the door to reveal a room that I assumed to be the game room because of all the couches, game tables, videogame consoles, and the many TVs in the room. There was a woman and a man in the room. The man was around six feet tall and built like a body builder. He had short-cropped dirty blond hair and green eyes, and he had a serious no nonsense look on his face. The woman was around 5'3 with long dark brown hair and shinning brown eyes. She had a warm, inviting smile on her face.

I instantly took a liking to the woman. We're sure to become fast friends soon. I just know it.

"Robert, Gloria this is Rose, my mate. Rose this is Robert and Gloria, my beta and third in command. I expect you two to treat Rose with the same respect you show me if not more. She is the Luna of this pack now and soon she will also be Queen of the Werewolves," Alex said.

"Yes Alpha," they said.

Gloria came up to me first.

"Hello Luna my name is Gloria and I'm King Alexander's beta. Its so nice to finally meet you. We have so much to talk about.Later today I can give you a tour of the pack house if you want, and tomorrow I can see if Alpha Alexander will let me take you to the mall so we can get you some clothes and have some girl time together to get to know each other." she said.

Gloria gave me a hug and stepped back to her spot with a big smile still on her face. I gave her a smile and answered her.

"Its nice to meet you too Gloria, and I would love it if you gave me a tour of the pack house. Please call me Rose. I'm not comfortable with being called Luna just yet. I will ask Alex about going to the mall in a little bit."

Robert stepped up to me next. He held his hand out for me to shake it. I shook it and he quickly went back to his spot like I had the plague or something, which upset me a little bit but it was to be expected since werewolves hated to be anywhere near a vampire  much less shake one's hand. The same goes for most vampires if not all of them. Gloria was the first werewolf I've ever seen have a civil conversation with a vampire much less hug one. He then addressed me.

"Hello Luna. My name is Robert and I am King Alexander's third in command. You may come to me for any questions you may have if you cannot find Alpha Alexander or Gloria or if they are unavailable to answer your questions. That is all I have to say. I will take my leave now." He said and then he quickly left the room.

"I have to go too. I would love to stay and chat a bit longer but I have to go and train the pups. Bye Rose. I will see you later to give you a tour of the pack house." Gloria said, and with that she left.

"So what'd you think of them?" Alex asked me as we walked back to his room.

"Well I thought Gloria was really nice and I liked her bubbly personality. I was surprised to find out she was your beta because the beta of a pack is usually a guy not a girl. I thought Robert was your beta at first and Gloria was your third in command. I think Gloria and I are going to be great friends. I didn't like Robert because of the way he acted formal and cold to me. The whole him stepping away from me really quick after I shook his hand like I had a disease thing upset me a little and hurt my feelings a bit to be honest. If he doesn't like me he should just tell me that to my face instead of acting like that." I told him.

"I'll make sure to have a talk with him about it then. The pack members are suppose to treat you with respect because you are their luna even though you are a vampire, which is the enemy of all werewolves. No one is exempt from respecting you not even me because you are my mate and mates are suppose to love and respect each other. He did not show respect to you when you met him and that cannot go unpunished." He told me.

"Don't bother Alex. Confronting him about it will just make him act colder around me especially if you punish him for it. Just let it be ok."

"Alright I won't confront him about it, but the next time he disrespects you though he's going to get punished for it. The same goes for all the other pack members. There's no way I'm gonna let them disrespect you and walk all over you. You are their luna now and they are going to respect you weather they like it or not. Ok my beautiful Rose." He said.

I agreed with him and we sat on the bed together and chilled for the afternoon.

This chapter is dedicated to my best friend Zinnia29. The new character Gloria is based off of her for the most part. Gloria and Robert will be permanent character in the book from now on. Please check Zinnia29 out. She an awesome person and I love her a lot.
