Chapter 11

Rose's Dad's Point of View

"What!?" I said. "Did you just say that the werewolf king is your mate, Rose?"

"Yes sir." Rose said.

I slammed my fist against the table. The sound echoed across the dining room.

"I will not have any child of mine being a mate to that mutt!" I yelled.

"I will not allow it."

"You will never go near his territory or see him again you hear me Rosemary LeeAnn Ravencroft." I told her.

"Yes sir." She said in a small voice.

"Calm down Vincent. You are scaring the children and I." My wife told me, placing a calming hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry, my love."

The room was quiet for several minutes until Rose broke the silence.

"You do realize father, that Alexander will come looking for me, and when he finds out I'm here he will launch a massive assault against you to get me back. He will stop at nothing to get me back even if it means sacrificing his whole pack to do it." Rose explained, carefully.

"Don't ever speak his name in my presence, and I know full well what he will do Rosemary!" I yelled at her.

                     Third Person POV

Rose shrunk back in fear from her father. Vincent paced around the room trying to think of what to do to fix the current situation they were in. The only thing he could think of was to meet King Alexander and hope his army won. He knew that going to war would cost the lives of many vampires but he couldn't think of anything else that he could do. Laura stopped her husband with a firm voice,

"Vincent. You mustn't stress. Look at our daughter!" Vincent sighed at glanced at their daughter that was in a ball, shaking slightly from her father's outburst.

Rosemary wasn't one to seem so weak. But when it came to her father, she trusted his beliefs and feelings dearly, in which they greatly affected her. Rose glanced up at her fuming father, whom then sighed heavily.

"I'm sorry honey, but you can't just expect us to be cheery when your mated to our arch-nemesis." Vincent explained calmly, standing Rose up and hugging her tightly.

Suddenly, a loud scream rattled their eardrums and they all widened their eyes. "Rosemary, you are to stay put in this household, do you understand?" Vincent grabbed her shoulders, looking her in the eyes. She nodded furiously and her parents vanished into nothing before her eyes.

Rose scurried to a window, and peered outside. A body lay on the ground just at the begining of the woods, a pool of blood surrounding it. Rose instantly recognized it as Bailey Weekes, and she stifled a cry. She knew Bailey well, he was a book nerd and one of her friends. Anger exploded from her heart, seeping throughout her entire being. Rose took a deep breath, chanted some cryptic language, and she could now see the scene as a birds eye view. A dagger lay stuck in the boys chest, going through a note. It read in blood, 'You Will Return Rosemary To The King. Consequences Will Be Grave. If She Is Not Returned By Sundown, Prepare. For. War."

Rose glued her eyes shut and shrunk into that of a mouse, finding the nearest hole and hiding from fear. The fear that rakes through your whole body, making you succumb to its feeling of pure anxiety and uncertainty. Her parents shortly entered through the door, eyes tired with worry.

"Rose?" Her mother called out. She emerged from the hole, turning into a huma- vampire girl once again. "Why were you a mouse?" Vincent questions.

She looked down, answering her parents curious minds. "I should've known you used the old bird's-eye trick! Damn bird kept circling us. Rose. You are to listen to me, and listen well. You are safe here. I'll make sure to keep a gaurd posted at every entrance possible. You are to go throughout your day normally." Vincent explained sternly, he muttered a language, and his voice exploded in Rose's mind.

"I've come to the conclusion that we have a werewolf among us. It's impossible for any pure werewolf  to come through the forest that we own. Act like you have no knowledge of what just happened out there. Understand?"  Rose shook her head up and down, going to her room.

Rose's Point Of View

I sat on my bed and put my head in my hands. I was trying not to freak out.

"What are we going to do?" "Alex will slaughter every vampire this vacinity if I don't go to him. I have no choice but to sneak out, and soon or my people's blood will be on my hands" I said to myself.

Will Rose be able to escape and save the lives of her people or will she fail and be responsible for the deaths of many? You'll find out in the next chapter.

Sorry for the short chapter guys. We both have writer's block right now, but we hope you like the chapter anyway.
