We were currently in zombietown looking though the books and finding nothing about where they put the moonstone

Useless. None of these history books say where the moonstone is hidden. Willa said upset as I saw Zed, eliza and Zed's little sister Zoey walking over to us

Hello wolves, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Zed, zombie, football star, presidential hopeful. Zed said holding it out for one of them to shake

I couldn't believe it. He was actually trying to get the wolves to vote for him.

I could have cut him off right then and there and told to take a long walk off a short pier but I held my tongue and decided to let Willa and her pack handle him

joined us. Eliza said with a smile

I didn't hate Eliza. She was a true friend she was the one that told me what Addison had told everyone and told me that she had my back even tho she was helping Zed with his campaign.

Our pack is our pack. We don't need anyone else, so... wynter said as Zoey cut in

I liked Zoey. She was the first to be excited about wolves being in Seabrook and she even wanted one for a pet

Aww, you said "ruff." Like a sweet little puppy dog. Ruff, ruff! Zoey said

We are beasts of the forest, we will never be tamed. Wynter said as Zoey reached up and started scratching her behind the ear putting wynter into a state of relaxation.

I glanced over at willa and wondering if that would work on her and made a mental note to myself to try it out later

When wynter saw will giving her a look she made Zoey stop and sat back down next to her pack member

We're nothing like you zombies. Willa said

You sort of are. Your necklace is powered, right? Kind of like an organic Z-band. Eliza said as Willa looked at her in approval

You're smarter than he looks. Willa said

Thanks. Eliza said

That necklace keeps you from fully wolfing out? Zed asked

The opposite. Our moonstones make us our true werewolf selves. Wyatt said

So without it you'd be human? Zed asked

No they would die. They would be nothing I said as Willa looked at me.

Actually, I've got this theory
that zombies might've evolved
beyond their need for Z-bands. eliza said as Zed gave her a look

Z-bands are great. They help you fit in. And I think you guys would have a much better time at Seabrook if you just followed
in our footsteps. Join a club,
play football. I'll even teach you
how to tackle. Just lighten up.
Be more like us. Zed said

Well that went way better then I thought it would

Later that night me and Willa were in her bedroom chilling

Hope who was that on the phone this morning? Willa asked as I sighed

My dad. I said

Oh. Is everything ok back home? Willa asked

No. I said

What's wrong? Willa asked as I told her what dad told me over the phone

By the time I had finished I was crying again

It's gonna be ok hope Willa said pulling me into a hug and rubbed my back to calm me down

But what if it won't be ok? I asked

Hope you can't think like that, it won't do u any good and it won't help your parents either. You have to hope for the best Willa said she continued to hold me

We stayed like that for a while until I remembered what happened between wynter and Zoey and remembered that I wanted to see if willa would react the same way.

Hey Willa can I try something on you real quick? I asked

Uh sure I guess Willa said as I sat up on her lap and put my hand behind her ear.

Hope what are you.... She asked as I began to scratch behind her ear rendering her speechless

I watched as her body went limp against her headboard.

I think I found the alpha's weak spot I said smiling as she tried to glare at me

S-shut up she said trying to sound touch

It's ok I won't tell I said.

I continued for a few minutes then stopped when I saw that Willa was getting sleepy

When I pulled my hand away she whined slightly from the loss of contact

Come on let's go to sleep I said as I laid down beside her and felt her wrap her arm around my waist.

It hadn't even been ten seconds and I could already hear Willa snoring

Maybe I should scratch her behind the ear more often.
