5 There's a vampire in the school!

Elektra
"Nice wolf..." Olivia complimented. She crashed down at the seat across from me dumping a stack of photos and a canon camera on the table. Lovely she found me, and she came alone which I'm glad. No offence to her but I don't think I could ever get along with her friends.
"He's my secret lover." I said humourlessly.
"Dogs are loyal." She replied and I had to smile at that. "I didn't even notice you leave."
"Sorry but I'm just not ready to start friendships yet."
"Not even with me?" She asked pouting but in a mocking way.
"I don't know, you kind of won me over with dog the comment." I said perking a brow than went back to a blank soulless expression.
"You don't like my friends?" She questioned. Even I can tell she doesn't think too much of them but still I'm not going to start something.
"No I mean I'm sure they're alright." Not the brightest bulbs in the box. "It's just me."
"What's wrong with you?" She asked sarcastically.
"Too much." I said shutting my sketch book and tucking my pencil and eraser in my pocket.
"Did something happen that made you move?" Who does this girl think she is asking me a question like that? I suppose it is harmless but it's still not something I want to answer. I kept calm and said. "Yes."
"What was it?" She pushed. I held back an annoyed glare then stared at the stack of photos again. Why did she even bring them here? Is it a way for to start another conversation with me?
"You like photography." I said to change the subject. I can tell she wants to pester me more but she instead sighed accepting I won't talk. Finally.
"Yeah... I usually take pictures of landscapes and if I'm lucky a bird or two. I go with my dad camping so I'm just capturing memories." She pushed the pile towards me. "I'm the pretty outdoorsy type." I looked at the first one while spreading the others out.
"I love this lake I've never seen such clearwater."
"Hm oh yeah it is really nice." She went through the pile showing me her favourites and also photos of her dad and brother fishing or doing something really stupid like scaring her mum with a giant spider. I shivered seeing that spider which made Olivia laugh. Then I continued on nodding and laughing when I had to but after a few minutes I felt comfortable with her and laughing came naturally. I picked up a photo that was of a huge paw print in the mud. It can't be one of mine, mine are bigger and shaped differently. I thought about that gold glint from the forest and wondered what lurks in there.
"This is a big poor print how big are the wolves here?" I meant it as a joke but she mistook it.
"Oh no, no I think this was a prank my brother pulled on me but it does look pretty real I'll admit."
"It must be my lover."
"Your loyal mutt."
"I've always liked the idea of having my own Jacob Black," I opened my sketch book to the wolf again and showed it to her. "In black." She cracked a grin.
"All girls have. Even the Edward fans."
"Even the Twilight haters have."
"Me being one of them I would know." I gasped.
"You're a twilight hater!" I exclaimed. She rolled her eyes.
"The movies are crap."
"From New Moon onwards they were crap because the dialect and language dumbed up so stupid people would watch it. But I can assure you the books are amazing."
"Dumbed up?"
"Oh please after the Twilight movie the rest of them got too corny. But you have to respect the story."
"Alright alright! Jesus!" I smiled with satisfaction and she cocked her head to the side. "Why have you been hiding this side of you?"
"This side?"
"Your fun side."
"My fun hasn't been hiding it just died."

I stepped out of the library with Olivia and we continued on talking about nothing but everything. Does that make sense?
"I heard you tripped a guy over in the hallway."
"He wanted to look up my skirt. Jacob Black wouldn't have liked that."
"Your skirt isn't even short enough." She paused and leaned back to check out my butt. "Hang on bend over."
"Shut up." I snapped cheerfully. Then I noticed her checking her watch and slightly frowning. "Did you miss something?"
"Only soccer training."
"I hope you don't feel the need to be friends with me just because I'm new. I'm happy on my own."
"I understand that. But I'm afraid you're stuck with me so get over it."
"Why do I always get the losers?"
"Hee-hee-ha-ha." She poked her tongue out at me as she opened the door to exit the building and the rush of cold air hit me like a speeding bus. I felt comforted when Olivia made it clear that she was freezing as well so maybe I am getting over the shivers 'that night' has brought me.
"Oh look it's Miss Facebook." Some guy called out. Miss Facebook? What idiot would say such a dumb insult like that? Unless of course, he's just kidding around. I turned my head behind me as we continued walking and saw it was Scott Havens with a sinister grin and his 'gang'. One of which I recognise as Jared, Olivia's twin brother. I turned to Olivia and whispered confusingly. "Was that meant to be an insult?"
"I think so." She said equally lost.
"Just checking." We kept walking away and with my cat hearing and poor nose I can hear them following and smell their stinky BO.
"Where do you think you're going?" Scott questioned.
So I sang out. "🎶Somewhere over the rainbow...🎶" Olivia snickered then glared over her shoulder.
"Don't you have better things to do?" She yelled out.
"Probably." Jared her brother replied smiling sweetly at me. "You know what let's just go Scott."
"Don't think so..." Scott suddenly grabbed my arm and I froze mid-step. I stared blankly at his hand then perked a brow staring at his face. "I just came to warn you that that was a bad move this morning."
"Look I get my Facebook joke wasn't that funny. So don't take it heart OK?" I patted his cheek mockingly then pulled away and walked away. I'm in no mood for a pointless fight with an idiot.
"Smartarse." He said.
I whispered mockingly. "I guess we're both equal then." His friends oohed but I've come up with better insults towards a demon, this one is not to be oohed at. Trevor ran up to me then jumped in my way. I tried walking around him but he would block my path and I suppressed a growl. "I'm too tired for this child play."
He suddenly pointed at me aggressively, waving his finger at my face as he said, "listen, wog. Anyone here will tell you that I'm not a guy you mess with, I have power over everyone in this school so you better treat me as your kind."
Is he delusional? I murder arrogant vampires for a --living is the wrong the term for it. But I eat narcissists like him for breakfast.
"Listen, Blondie," I whispered gesturing for his face to come closer, even I inched my face a little nearer to his until my lips were a centimetre apart from his. "I don't give a damn." His brow creased as he glared down at me. "And I will not be threatened by someone who forgets to zip up their pants after taking a piss." He looked down and I smiled walking around him. "Made you look."

Luke
The phone beeped again and I sighed in annoyance.
'Cole we have a mind link use it.'
'I just wanted to say she is hot.'
I rolled my eyes. 'Thanks for clarifying Cole.'
'She tripped Avon over when he tried to look up her skirt.' I sat up stunned.
'What the hell are you guys doing?' I exclaimed.
'Being teen-wolves? Oh, she just stepped out of the library!'
'What is she doing? Actually more importantly what are you doing at a library?'
'I'm not in a library I just said she stepped out of one.'
'Why are you following her every move?'
'Don't you want to know who she is?' He has me there but I am not about to admit it. 'And here comes Scott...'
'Who?' I questioned lost.
He ignored me. 'Apparently, she slammed a door in his face this morning and he's been fuming all morning.'
'She slammed a door in his face?' I asked dully. It's a bit extreme.
'I couldn't believe it either.'
"Luke!" Marcus my stepbrother swung the door open to my room, being dramatic as usual. I'm used to him just storming in and he only ever talks to me when the Alpha wants something other than that we avoid each other at all costs. His wild black curly hair bounces when he moves, he has dark almost black eyes and a hooked nose with olive skin. He's bad tempered, rude and cruel when dad isn't looking. He's mainly rude to me because the alpha -being his father- chose me instead of him. "Vampire, high school students in danger, let's go." He was about to step out but he paused for once not glaring at me. "Warning Deviline is coming to."
"Seriously." I groaned. He chuckled then quickly snapped back to glaring me as if he just remembered he hated me. "I'll be down in a minute."

Elektra
I stiffened in shock and glared up the seniors building where mainly the year twelves lurk around. That smell of death is coming from the top floor. Like there's a hundred-year-old corpse just hanging around which only means there is a vampire here. Not all vampires can survive the sun's light only the modern adapting ones can. The old classic ones I find easier to beat because they have so many weaknesses.
"Hey, I continued walking why did you stop?" Olivia questioned walking right up to me.
My attention didn't waver from the top window. I creased my brow and pouted slightly debating on what I should do.
"Sorry, now that I think about it there's somewhere I have to be... um, I'll see you in last period."
"What but-hey don't walk away!" Olivia exclaimed.
I gestured with my head to her twin who looks like he desperately wants to talk with her. Or he's just constipated. "It looks like your brother wants to speak to you." She turned to glare at her brother and with her distracted, I rushed off inside the building.
Where is Claire? And as usual, as soon as I think of her name she pops up next to me out from thin air.
She jumped up and down excitedly clapping. "I have met so many boys OMGODDESS. And one girl called me an orange freak." Knowing Claire she'd take that as a compliment, and I don't have the heart to tell her otherwise. That no one really likes her or is secretly in love with in fact I bet even orange the fruit feels insulted when she's near. I grabbed her hand and pulled her over in a corner between a set of lockers. I listened out for any unwanted attention and when satisfied I let go of her.
"Claire no time there's a vampire on the school grounds!" I warned quietly but she didn't seem fazed. Of course not she's Claire! If the world was getting destroyed by asteroids she would simply walk around holding an umbrella.
"Ooooh! Vampire hunt Yay!" She started jumping up and down clapping her hands again.
"Less clap more run!" I yelled at her and again she didn't seem fazed. But she did start running...
Just the wrong way.
I slapped my hand on my face shaking my head shamefully. I'm surrounded by morons...
