47 The Wolves are out... OLIVIA LOCK YOUR DOORS!
Elektra
"Alright I need your sensitive sniffer to catch a scent. I'm feeling a little lazy." I yawned. For the past week I've been out late 'hunting for knowledge'. I think I'm going all mafia-like to be perfectly honest. I've been questioning the underworld rats' part of this scheme and killing the ones threatening to get in my way without a second thought. I think I'm getting a little too cold hearted for my liking but then again it is my 'other time of month' and I'm pretty selfish during those five days when I'm a walking blood fountain. After every hunt I always find myself drawn to the ocean. Everynight I'm always five steps closer than the night before just staring at it but eventually I rush back to my car and drive home. After seeing Poseidon I'm so tempted to try out the gift he's given me but I'm also afraid.
"User." He whispered. He pointed his nose up and smelled the cold air while pulling on the hoodie. "They passed by here." I already know that. "They must have fed on few people out here because I smell dead humans." As if rehearsed or on cue we heard someone scream. We rushed across the street and I leaped up onto red brick building balancing myself on the ledge of the window to peek inside. Luke stood on the otherside gazing inside and we saw a young girl probably younger than me crying over a body of a woman. By the way they're both dressed they look like prostitutes but I thought nothing of that. I sympathised with the crying girl and wished the fates to give her a better life.
"They all fed on her at the same time, look at all the bite marks on the body." Luke pointed out. We snapped our bodies away from the window and the crying girl just missed us.
"The demons would have eaten her whole." I said holding back the gag. "And from the scent they must have left not too long ago. Let's go." We both leaped down onto the road and we started walking following the stench.
"Have you been tracking them for this whole week?"
"No I told you I only found out about this coven today. It didn't take me too long to figure out they were going to hide out somewhere here."
"So if I didn't come over tonight would you have told me any of this?"
"Of course I would." I said, "Just after I dealt with it." I smiled innocently as he gave me a playful sideways glare. I froze midstep hearing screeching, like tyres grazing the road when someone is recklessly driving. We turned around glaring at the black car driving our way.
"Elektra!" Luke shouted.
"Relax." I responded smirking. I stopped the car by stamping my foot onto the front crumple zone of it. "Big mistake." I hissed seeing the glowing amber eyes through the window. The driver continued to push hard on the pedal but with my strength it still didn't budge. Luke made an animalistic growl and leaped on top of the car. He smashed his fist through grabbing the creature by the hair and dragged him out. I flipped the car over then stormed over to them. The driver is a young male vampire and he looks around fourteen and is dressed lazily. As in he probably rolled out of bed and dragged on the closest thing.
"Let me go!" He shouted trying to pry Luke's hands out of his dark hair. Luke covered the boy's mouth to muffle his cries and we dragged into an alley.
"He's a bit young for this? Even I can tell he's recently been changed." I pointed out. Luke yelped in pain whipping his hand away from the boy's mouth.
"He bit me." Luke cursed under his breath and I smacked the vampire upside the head.
"How rude." I mocked. I let my eyes shift into slits and the vampire backed away only crashing into Luke. "This saves us tracking them down. We have our little personal guide." I said in a baby and pinched the vampire's cheek. He glowered at me and spat on my hand. Instead of growling in anger I smirked and wiped the spit over his face. Right before he could snap at me again I got to the point. "Where is coven hiding?"
He smirked at me. Liking the fact that he thinks I need him. We don't really we can find them ourselves. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Oh are you suffering from amnesia?" I asked still smiling. Then I mentally told Luke to toss the vampire high into the air. Luke perked a brow but did so anyway. He screamed loudly and leaped up onto the roof building grabbing the vampire by the ankle and dangling him off the ledge. This won't kill him but it will hurt like hell. "Does this help?"
"Put me down!" He cried out in fear.
"If you insist." I loosened my hold only slightly.
"Wait! Wait! I remember now... yeah I can take you!"
"Oh good. Luke catch!" I released and let him fall and scream into Luke's arms.
'You're cruel.' Luke said. I panicked for a second. 'It's hot.' I sighed in relief. The last thing I want is for him to think I'm a cold person that enjoys others misery. I flipped off and landed effortlessly on my feet then once again I mockingly pinched the vampire's cheek.
"You scream like a Claire." I stated. Luke burst out laughing while the vampire boy glared up at me confused.
"What?" The vampire murmured.
"Mind if I use that line?" Luke asked.
"Be my guest." I replied smiling then grabbed the boy by the back of his head. "Now where do we go?"

Olivia
"Again! Seriously!" I snapped as Cole in a brown T-shirt and baggy blue jeans once again stood at my front door to bring the bad news.
"Luke snuck off to see her so again she can't make it." She has been avoiding me for the entire week when I want to talk to her about all this Werecat stuff. She can't talk out in public at school, she can't meet up after school and now she cancels again on a Saturday! Everytime she sends Cole to send the message. She doesn't even tell me herself!
"And again she left me with you. Isn't she fantastic?" I prepared to close the door but he placed his hand firmly on the door stopping me.
"No this time I will not be left out on your porch step."
"My family's home." I warned.
"Meeting the family on the first date, I can live with that." He pushed past me but froze and eyed me up. I realised I'm just dressed in a white singlet and little blue shorts, barely covered and my hair is in a messy bun. My cheeks heated and I slammed the door closed crossing my arms over. This is embarrassing. "Nice pjs." He complimented winking at me.
"If I find any chewed shoes or catch you humping the furniture I will get a rolled up newspaper."
"Haven't heard that one before I'll give you points for uniquiness." He replied sourly but still smiling.
"Come on." I rolled my eyes walking ahead of him. "Have you eaten? I've got cold pizza."
"Yes and yes." I snickered.
"Olivia? Who is this?" My mother appeared in the doorway to the living room wearing her bright pink dressing gown and curlers in her hair. She saw what I was wearing and gave me a disapproving look. "What happened to that lovely yellow nightie I bought you?"
"Don't think I didn't notice the little magical fairy hiding on the back of it mother." I snidely remarked. "And this is my friend Cole." I grabbed his wrist and dragged him past my dad and Jared.
"Hey man." Jared greeted to Cole. Cole nodded in response before we disappeared in the protection of the kitchen. I hate that they know each other, Cole only speaks to him to annoy me.
"Personally not saying fairies don't do anything for me but I like the way you're dressed now." Cole said flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes but laughed anyway.
"I'm flattered. Sprite, water or tea?"
"No coffee?"
"Saved for my mother's brunch tomorrow I'm afraid." I sighed rubbing my eyes. Her Deb mother friends are coming over to plan their next big event, my mum has been begging me to do it for years. There is a chance she told the doctor to place a tiara on my head as soon as she pushed me out.
"Sprite." He sat down on the stool at the marble white island bench and grabbed a sprite from the fridge then got a glass of water for myself.
"Pizza is just there." I said pointing to the box and he opened it moving it between us. I leaned over the bench opposite him and watched him pick up a piece. "Where are the wild two?"
"Well if Luke snuck over to her house late in the night I'm assuming he's finally ready to stick his..."
"Stop! God I get it." I winced making him chortle. "It's about time to, Elektra didn't appreciate the waiting. Although I thought it was sisters before misters." I took a sip from my water.
"I thought the saying was chicks before dicks." I almost choked on my drink.
"OK seriously watch your mouth my parents have hearing probably like your wolfie one. We don't swear in this house, I'm not really a prude." I scolded in a silent voice then glanced at the door. Fortunately no fuming mothers stormed in so I relaxed and gazed back at a still amused grin. I never noticed how big his mouth was until now. He would play well as the joker from Batman if he didn't have such a baby face and a slightly crooked nose. "Honestly when am I going to see Elektra? She's always distracted and I want to know what's going on!"
"It's not really any of your business anyway." He said. I stood there silently and stared blankly at him. He's wrong. She's my best friend that means I have every right to know. Right? "Don't look at me like that. It's true and what's also true is that you're not the only one who was deceived. It was there secret for a whole six years and no one knew about it, except for maybe that orange thing."
"Claire."
"Isn't that what I said?" He asked sarcastically. I smacked his shoulder meaning to be playful but it felt like I smacked rock or cement. My mouth fell open but my hand hurts too much to even make any cry of pain.
"What the fuck? Ow!" I exclaimed waving my hand to shake away the pain. Cole stood up chuckling and I glowered at him.
"Werewolves... we're brutal and hard." He said then laughed at his own pun.
"Shut up my hand hurts!" He took my hand in his and pressed the sprite can on it.
"Should know better than to hit a werewolf. Hit on them though is allowed."
"Enough with the jokes." I whimpered. He pouted with mocking sympathy then kissed my hand, a warm sensation spread up along it making me shiver and stare at him wide eyed. I gasped. "What was that?"
He inclined his head to the side to stare at me with confusion pouring from his eyes. "What was what?"
I gulped. "Nothing."
"What is going on in here?" Of course my mother will step in. She peeked around the door and noticed Cole still holding my hand. "Oh I'm sorry am I interrupting something?" She asked perking her brow and smiling.
"It's nothing." I pulled my hand away my cheeks heating up again. "What do you want mum?"
"You know there are some good movies playing at the cinema." My mother started. Oh God no please don't! "Olivia why don't you get dressed and you two go and watch something?"
"You know Mrs Davids that is a great idea." Cole encouraged grinning sinisterly at me but then sweet and innocent when he gazed at my mother.
"Stop it." I demanded.
"Do you two need some money?" My mother went on ignoring me. She knows I like Matt! What is she doing?
"No!" I snapped.
"I have some I'll pay." Cole said.
"What a gentleman."
"Oh my God no. Is anyone listening to me?"
"Go get ready Olive." She ordered.
"No. We're not going out." I exclaimed then jumped when Jared walked in.
"Hey there's this cool movie with Tom Cruiz that's just come out." He said.
"No. You're not coming with us because we're not going anywhere." I stated.
Cole said cheerily. "The more the merrier!" I'm burning inside. Sometimes I really hate my family and from now on I will hate Cole. If he wasn't a werewolf I would slap him. Actually next time he watches me while I'm at soccer training I'll kick the ball at his head. "Stop! We're not going anywhere!" I shouted.
15 minutes later
I sat in the backseat between Jared and Cole as dad drove and mum sat in the driver's seat. Cole yawned stretching his arm around my shoulders.
"Don't touch me." I growled staring dead ahead.
"OK." He shifted awkwardly resting both his hands in his laps.
"We're going to have so much fun!" My mother said excitedly. I want to die...
