46 Sometimes I think Gods are no better than me
Elektra
My body leaped up and I crossed my arms bending my elbows so when I landed I slashed the swords swiping them across the air just missing her stomach. On purpose of course where's the fun if the fight lasts only a second. She flipped back then a silver blade sunk out from the skin of her arm and she flung it at my head. I knocked it away with my sword and charged at with full force but she held out her hands grabbing the swords in her hands, the blades having no effect.
"I have iron skin, that's how form iron spikes from my body you idiot." She sniped.
"Well then..." I smirked and kicked her stomach with my knee. I threw the swords up in the air and punched her in the face knocking her back onto the ground. She rolled back standing up and the swords laded back in my hands.
"Wait!" She shouted. "You have weapons let's just do this by hand."
"You have spikes."
"I won't use them." I thought about it. "The fight will be more worthwhile." She tempted.
"Alright but I'm keeping your sword." Both swords disappeared and immediately I charged at fullspeed crashing her into the wall. Then I punched her in the face and kept hitting her until she screamed in frustration making me laugh and she shoved me back. We tumbled over rolling away and I ended up plummeting down the first staircase and smacking my head into the wall. She gasped and a few of her front teeth fell out.
"You knocked out my teeth!"
"Sh we're at a library." I smirked sinisterly. She hissed spitting out blood and ran down the steps to kick me but I rolled up onto the wall and I started crawling away on the ceiling. She leaped up and followed on behind me so we were above everybody silently fighting each other -and making scratches and cracks on the ceiling-.
"You are so dead for killing my brother." She sneered.
"I thought all sisters wanted to kill their brothers." She didn't reply only swung her leg at my face but I caught with my hands just in time. "Going down." I threw her so she crashed onto a bookshelf knocking it over. I don't know what the mist would be showing to the people down there but right now I could care less. But I laughed when the bookshelf she landed on toppled to the right knocking the shelf, than that one knocked the next. "Oh dominios" I kicked myself down spiralling towards her then smashed my foot onto her abdomen making her gag and probably vomit a little. Alright I think I've caused enough destruction to last me a month. I extended my claws and slashed them at her but the ends broke off. I broke a nail... I analysed my now blunt broken nails and stared down at her intensely. "Interesting."
"Yeah so is this." She suddenly plunged something into my leg and I screamed at the burning and throbbing pain that started. I jumped back and stared down at the spike she inserted into my leg. "Sh we're at a library." I mocked then swung her leg up kicking my face but not knocking me over.
"I thought we made a deal?" I spat pulling out the spike.
She grinned, her pale eyes glowing with deceit. "Never trust a demon."
"Oh yeah I forgot that rule." I struck her heart with her spike and she gasped going pale, her lips turning blue before she melted into black gue. That's disgusting.

The annoying time of the day for me came -afternoon- and I simply wondered over to see Sarah at her Hotel. I think it's time I kind of tell her everything. I think? Maybe... I walked through the front doors and I noticed Tilli slowly walking my way and when she realised me standing there. She gave me a determind angry expression and stormed my way.
"Meow Till." I greeted then was taking aback by her flaring nostrils as she glared at me right in the eye. She's behaving as if she is challenging me. Is she? I have done nothing to wrong her so maybe... Or she's just being an idiot.
"El-ele-Elektra." She stuttered now getting nervous. I perked a brow and stared at her confused. "I uh... Never mind." She ran around me and out of the Hotel.
"What the heck was that?" I asked myself. I shrugged then started for Sarah's room. Having to kick away Mik in the process as I stepped inside. "Meow Sarah!"
She gazed up at me surprised then checked her watch. "Wow you beat up Tilli fast."
"What? She just came up to me then ran off is she OK?"
Sarah snickered. "She does all talk no action."
"What do you mean?" I questioned suspicious and confused.
"Don't worry about it. Anyway what are you doing here?"
I hesitated. "Updating. Anything I need to know?"
"There have been more vampires lately. I don't know they're being drawn in somehow and it's very inconvenient when you're trying to do your maths homework." She joked. I sarcastically laughed then replied. "Maths homework right. Good one Sarah." I never do my maths homework anymore...
"How's your chihuahua?" She asked.
"He's a handsome wolf."
"He's an overgrown puppy."
"You've never even met him!"
"I don't need to."
"Luke is..."
"I hope you realise I don't actually care I just wanted to call him a Chihuahua."
"OK Well that saves that then."
"No seriously why haven't I met him?"
"I don't need you putting down his man pride. And I've been busy, there have been attacks on the town and him and I which is very inconvenient when you're not doing your maths homework." We both suddenly snapped our heads to the window as a crashing of something noise disturbed ours from a distance. "What was that?"
"Let's go check!" We bolted down the stairs and I leaped over Darrel -a vampire nerd with big geeky glasses and red eyes- to get to the door. We charged outside into the depths of the trees searching around for the cause of that sound. I smell no sort of vampire or demon the air is clean from that rotting death smell. However I smell something salty.
"You took my great grandchild and turned her into one of your kitty scum." Some man bellowed. Sarah and I glanced at each other then ran around a tree to see two really tall people, a man and a woman standing there glaring at each other. The man has sunkissed skin almost golden, amazing ocean blue eyes that seem to change from aqua to dark blue, nothing like Olivia's eyes because his are so mystical, he's wearing kiak shorts and a blue shirt and his dark hair is neatly trimmed and has golden highlights. The woman has long brown hair tied back in half up half down style, her skin is not as tan as the man's but still is golden while her dark brown eyes are staring sternly at the man.
"I think you're still jealous just because the Greeks named island after me rather than you." She spat.
"Oh my Gods," Sarah and I whispered at the same time. This is Athena and Poseidon, right in front of me... arguing. Two Gods are standing before me.
"You think too much."
"Well she is the Goddess of wisedom..." I pointed out but Sarah grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back.
"Let's not," she suggested and she's right. It's best to stay out of their godly business.
"Uh you two about time you got here." Athena snapped straightening her white blouse and black pencil skirt.
Sarah and I pointed to ourselves and said at the same time. "Me?"
"Yes, now I can't stay for long."
"Good riddance." Poseidon growled. She gave him a sideways glare stared back at us. I bet if we were anybody else they wouldn't have bickered and fought, they would behaved powerfully and almightly. But the thing is with us because we're just cats doing their dirty I don't think they much care how they look to us.
"I'm distraught. You let a demon ruin a perfectly good library." Am I being scolded by the Goddess of Wisedom herself? Sarah stared at her confused then at me.
"Uh," I can't say it wasn't my fault because I let the temptation of fighting after such long times of nothing take over me. "I'm sorry?"
"You should be I was there I saw you ride into the inducement. But that's not why I'm here."
"Why are you here?" Poseidon snapped at her.
She yelled back. "To make sure you don't do anything to them that will taint their clever brains." Sarah and I stared at each other again.
'Awkward.' I whispered through the mind link.
'Do you think they can read our minds?' Sarah questioned nervously.
'They are Gods.'
"Elektra I came here to talk to you." Poseidon finally said.
"Me? I'm flattered?" He walked over to me suddenly tilting my head up by placing his hand under my chin. His skin is soft and the saltiness of his scent smells nice but his, the intenseness of them is overpowering.
"Keep your eyes open." I would have nodded if it wasn't for his hand locking me in place. Suddenly he did the unthinkable, a tear started rolling down his face and with his finger he picked it up and held above my eye. It was like time slowed down before the drop hit my eye and it stung a little making whince and step away.
"What have you done Poseidon?" Athena questioned.
"Giving my great granddaughter the chance to swim in my oceans whenever she pleases." He replied as I stood there blind and rubbed at my stinging eye.
"Elektra are you OK?"
"I'm fine I think." I blinked a few times and noticed the Gods disappeared. "They just left, just like that?"
"That was random."
"Our whole life is random." I complained as my eye slowly stopped hurting.
"Does that tear thingy mean you're allowed to swim in the ocean?"
"I guess so. I won't bother with that now though, I have..." We both stiffened as we heard distant cries and the smell of death filled our noses. We smirked at each other then we shifted into our cat forms and charged through the trees ready for the kill.

A week later
Luke
8:16pm
I lurked outside her bedroom window just like old times where I hang around in my wolf form waiting for her to come out and see me. But this time I have shifted back in my human form and dressed in the clothes carried over in my mouth. My leg is still stiff and sore as well as the rest of my body but I didn't want to wait any longer.
'Elektra.' I called out through our link.
'Luke? How are you feeling?' She asked even through the link she sounds surprised.
'Look out your window to see for yourself?' I said smiling to myself.
'I would if I could but I'm not home.' I creased my brow and leaped up to glare through the window into the empty dark room. I didn't think she'd be out. I kind of selfishly hoped she would be waitin around for me to come back.
'Where are you?'
Her answer surprised me. 'In the city.'
'What are you doing there?' She didn't answer for awhile. But then she sent me a visual map and image of a 7-11 shop.
'Take the train. I'll see you in an hour.' I didn't question her.
~*~*~
I arrived at the place following the map she sent me 20 minutes early hanging around the shop and getting strange glances from people passing by.
"I'm over here Luke." I turned my head to the right and saw her peeking around from the alley her face shadowed by her hood. "You can't be well yet." She stated doubtfully. I smirked and ran at her as much as it hurt and lifted her up off her feet spinning her around. She screamed excitedly and hit my back ordering me to place her back down. I did eventually and she stepped back to lean on the wall and get a good look at me. "You should be resting?"
"I miss you."
"We've only been apart for a week I'm sure you're OK. Besides what does your Alpha think you're doing now?" She questioned placing her hands on her hips. I smirked and pressed a little kiss on her neck.
"Doesn't matter." I whispered and felt her sigh in my ear. "I can't stay the night but I can stay for awhile. I just needed to know you were safe."
"I need to hunt. There's a coven coming down with a couple of demons trying to hide them somewhere. Hunt with me." The only times I have ever hunted with her was when I was actually hunting her down. Actually partnering up with her to chase down the same enemy is big.
"How do we find them?"
"I know where they are, I was with my Pride today and we overheard plans from leeches in the woods."
"What did you for the past week?" I questioned.
She sucked in air through clenched teeth. "A lot. Even met a God or two but you know other than that this is just a normal week for giant cat freak." I chuckled assuming she's kidding around.
"That rhymed." I pointed out.
She smiled. "I planned it." She stuffed her hands in her front pockets of her jeans. "Are you well enough?"
"Of course I am."
"Don't be using your man pride on me now; this is serious because I can easily go on my own or with the Pride."
"You're acting as if you don't want me with you."
"It's not like that and you know it."
"Then let's get going already."
"Alright." She smiled excitedly. "I'd like to see you in action. You know when we're the ones chasing not the otherway around." A mischivious blue glint passed over her eyes as if her inner dark cat is creeping her way out.
"Where do we go?" I questioned. Out of air she created a black hooded jacket and tossed it at me. "I don't get cold."
"Don't be ridiculous Luke. It's to cover your identity not warm your chills."
"Oh." She giggled and then her eyes averted sideways down further into the alleyway. She started walking and the sound of her steps echoed through the silence as we reached the end.
"You know how usually if you go back through centuries, the vampires always lived the high life and drowned in their wealth?" She asked me. "Example Dracula."
"He was real?" I asked unbelievably.
"As real as you."
"I guess they did live pretty well." I answered then her hand waved at the poor rundown street before me.
"Look how far the foul have fallen."
"Dun dun duuuuun." I sang in a low voice. She snickered playfully hitting my shoulder.
