Luke

She stepped inside first and was blocked from my reach by Claire. I sighed in annoyance. Cole elbowed me and perked a brow at me so I rolled my eyes and let him walk ahead of me through her front door. I followed behind him as he checked the place out I edged around him to get closer to Elektra. Claire was playing around with the dogs mumbling something about fur and orange and I stiffened in horror.

"Don't even think about turning my dogs orange Claire!" Elektra shouted and Cole jumped in surprise while Claire frowned like a child refused to have an a ice cream.

"But they'd look so awesome, I did it to my dog."

"You have a dog?" Elektra questioned probably frightened and so am I...

"I did, she ran away a few weeks ago, you know Maxina froze her chihuahua." She went on and on and I felt Cole just watching the scene unbelievably.

"Oh my Gods Claire you should totally go see Maxina, she probably has so much to tell you about her and Tom Nook." Elektra said in fake excitement and Claire squealed in real excitement.

"Oh my Gods Tom Nick!" Didn't she say Tom Nook? Whoever that is... Then in a puff of orange smoke she disappeared and I heard Cole curse under his breath. I just felt relieved, she's just so... What's a nice word I could use uh strange? Elektra sighed in exhaustion and wiped her brow while staring at the floor. The sunlight shone on her back showing shadows under her tired eyes.

"Are you ok?" I asked her and she smiled up at me hiding away any sign of weariness

"Yeah I'm just going to get changed out of this monkey suit." She pointed at her uniform then smiled up at Cole. "Oh and Cole don't be afraid to take anything you want from the fridge."

"Yeah... Don't be surprised if you find your fridge empty by the next hour." He said charging straight for the kitchen and she laughed then walked to the staircase. I eyed at Cole through the doorway and saw him opening draws and cupboards so I followed Elektra up the steps. Finding her just entering her room, she was about to close the door but I pushed it gently open and she turned around surprised. But before she could speak I grabbed her by her waist and gave her the kiss I've been dying to give for the whole day. She immediately responded running her fingers through my hair, pushing her body against mine. She moaned pleasurably which got me to hold her tighter to me. She broke the kiss looking flushed but I still held her to me.

"Someone's thrilled to see me." She breathed then leaned into me. "I've missed you too." She said truthfully pecking my lips then she started pushing me back out the door.

"How are we going to tell him?"

"Tell me what!?" Cole yelled out from downstairs and she chuckled.

"You'll find out!" She called back then looked lovingly in my eyes. "I'll meet you downstairs." I kissed her again and struggled on letting her go. But if I'm here too long Cole will get suspicious.

"You had to bring him to the car." I whispered on her mouth and she pouted apologetically then smirked.

"Luke are you ready to lose the challenge?" She whispered flirtatiously and I growled hiding my face in the crook of her neck. No I'm not, I just want some alone time with her.

"It's still on Elektra I'm waiting till you're eighteen." I said on her neck then trailed a few kisses up along it. Around her jaw back onto her mouth and she winced pushing me away.

"Don't tease." She playfully frowned. "Now back downstairs before he suspects something," she closed the door in my face and I unwillingly trudged downstairs watching Cole grinning like an idiot while standing in the middle of the living room.

"I'm only saying this because we're practically family, Luke... You're an idiot." He stated and I crossed my arms over my chest and glared down at him slightly amused.

"Says the lone wolf."

"Hey, I'm too much for them to handle."

"Right..." I nodded then walked into the kitchen and Cole walked around to the kitchen bench sitting on a high stool.

"So what is going on?" He asked as I opened the fridge pulling out a coke can. "Why have you been hiding here? Everyone is so upset thinking that you're gone and you're here sleeping around with a hot Greek girl." I ignored the last part feeling my chest tighten but I know he doesn't mean anything about it.

"I wasn't planning on this. I tried coming back but we were chased away by vampires."

"Vampires? Wait how much does she know about us?"

"She's a mythical being herself Cole, look you'll see for yourself in a minute but please be cool about this."

"I will be don't worry. So... How did you end up at here exactly?" He gave me a wry grin perking a brow and leaning forward on the bench. I thought about that night when Marcus attacked, how everything really changed...

"Long story, and stop with that smile. Elektra's right that grin really is creepy." I mocked taking a sip from my drink. He leaned back surprised.

"You know I'm happy you've finally found someone. She'll be good for you, help you loosen up." What does he mean by that? He's implying I'm tightly wound. "Warlock guy has a thing for her. Just to let you kmow in case it wasn't obvious."

"I noticed from the first day I met him, they have a history but she won't tell me about it."

"You think they were together?"

"She said they were friends but now she has a strong emotion for him but I can't tell if it's hatred or, or something else."

"Jealousy? Already? You guys are moving pretty fast. I mean you already have moved in with her." He said sarcastically and I sighed smiling to myself. Then we both flinched hearing the front door open. Mother's home! I gestured for him to follow me upstairs and he willingly did but didn't understand why. "What's happening?" He asked me as we just waited upstairs in the hallway.

"I uh... Her mother doesn't exactly know I'm living here..." His mouth practically hit the floor as he stared at me shocked. Then menacingly.

"You? I can't believe this, she's really changed you. You're whipped." I didn't say anything and knocked on Elektra's door. What does he mean I've changed? "I never thought anyone could get you to be a rebel."

"Are you saying I'm a goodie two shoes?" I questioned giving him a warning glare.

"Hey dude..." He lifted his hands up in surrender. "I'm just saying that she's brought your wild side out." I can be wild. I can be a badass when I want to be but nothing has been worth the trouble. Not until her.

"Deviline has been acting weird lately. You know more than usual, in fact she claimed that you and her were having a secret relationship." She what? I'm shocked, maybe not horrified but most definitely surprised. Then Elektra's door opened and she stood there eyeing at me curiously.

"Are you having a secret relationship while we're having a secret relationship?" She asked sarcastically and I chuckled while checking her out. Black t-shirt and tight blue jeans, I wanted her to myself. I just want to push her back inside and kick Cole out of the house but instead I walked around her inside the room. She closed the door behind Cole then smirked at us. "Two gorgeous sex gods in my room. I just hope the bed is big enough." Cole looked at me for my reaction but I just closed my eyes and shook my head.

"Alright, lets explain before Cole starts to drool." I commented and Cole waved his hands up in the air.

"Where'd that come from?"

"Doesn't matter. Now how are we going to explain this?" Elektra asked placing her hands on her hips.

"Well from what I know you are a water bender that follows birds." Cole said and she chuckled.

"Close... But actually I'm something else." She closed her eyes for a few seconds then opened them revealing yellow catlike eyes which started changing colour.

"I still down get why they change colour." I said and she looked at me surprised.

"They change colour?" She didn't know?

"Uh... What...?" Cole stuttered looking at her strangely. I think he's a little scared. She winced then purred sending him an extra clue but he clearly is more confused than ever. "You're purring? Like a cat... Cat..." He looked at me wide eyed then back at her, then back me. "She's the... You're the... Ok what is going on here!" He bellowed and I slapped him upside the head.

"Quiet or my mum will hear."

"You're the Werepanther. The one our Alpha wants to hunt down..." I stood beside her and held her close into my side by her waist and she rested her hand over my chest to my furthest shoulder.

"There's a misunderstanding. Cole she's harmless." I said and she looked at me with her piercing eyes. Now back to normal. "Ok so not completely but she's not what he claims her to be." Cole's expression was unreadable, so if he believed me or not I couldn't tell.

"Cole I have never in my life killed a werewolf. Vampires yes because they're parasites but I've never gone near a werewolf until I moved here. And even then I was never approached." I remained silent as she explained. Thinking about how much time I wasted just watching her from the protection of the trees. How I knew when exactly when to come over just to see her and she would always know I was there. Well some of the time she knew. We wasted time, precious time that I'm never going to get back. I should tell her about what happens to werewolves. But I'll save that for another time.

"I believe you Elektra. If Luke trusts you I have no reason to doubt his judgment. And you know this could work out for everyone. We could go to the Alpha and..." I groaned and both Elektra and I glanced at each other at that same moment thinking the same thing. "What's with the look? What aren't you telling me?"

"We tried. But.." Elektra explained the whole situation and how my alpha is working with vampires, how they're scheming. It's hard to believe my alpha, the man that rescued me from hell and brought me up... He's practically my father and what kind of son would I be if I didn't explain what's happening. (A son like Marcus who will do anything for power.) Cole listened and I've never seen him without any emotion. I always thought it would be a glorious moment to find Cole with nothing to say but this is just unsettling. Her mum came up to her room and Cole and I shied away from the door then Elektra followed her mum out saying in my head that she'll be right back.

"This is true. She's a werecat." Cole finally said and I stared at him unsure of what to say but say. "Yes."

"Wow I never saw this coming," neither did I believe me it was a real shocker. I went over to her messy desk and picked up one of her art books. A page fell out onto the floor so I picked it up admiring the oddness and creepiness of it. Black darkness or smoke but then bright ice blue eyes seemed to glow in the middle of it. I immediately felt uncomfortable being apart from her.

ELEKTRA

"You're friend is here." My mum said as we stepped down the stairs and I looked around finding no one then walked around to the living room where the unexpected visitor sat playing around with Koko on his lap.

"You got new dogs." Adrian said as Koko was biting his finger playfully. I found this sweet and adorable, even for Adrian who looked at her adoringly while Romeo sat on the couch shying away.

"What are you..." I froze when mum entered smiling at him. She always liked him, and once upon a time I adored him. So she must be surprised to see him here, and I can't just be rude to him without her scolding me.

"How are you Adrian?" She asked and he stood up holding Koko in his arms.

"Well thank you." He said looking at Koko adoringly but then stared at me. "How are you Tanya?" He asked using my mother's christian name and I wanted to snap at him badly. He has no right to use her name!

"Well thanks. Now Elektra I'll be leaving for work in about ten minutes... Adrian are you staying for dinner?"

"No."

"I'd love to." He interrupted placing Koko on the couch and clasping his hands behind his back. He looks like a pompous poofhead.

"Adrian." I growled and he simply ignored me and smiled politely at my mother.

"Alright well you're cooking." She said to me then started heading upstairs. And once she was gone I shot a venomous glare at him then grabbed the collar of his black blazer.

"What are you doing here!?" I roared at his face. He didn't waver in fact he grinned then his eyes directed up at the ceiling. He must be able sense the boys upstairs.

"Helping you out, have you already told the mutt?" He whispered removing my hands from his collar. "And do you mind? This blazer is expensive."

"Yes I told him now will you leave?" I pushed as he leaned in closer towards me.

"Elektra you have two dangerous beasts hiding out in your room."

"Oh I can take care of myself besides they won't hurt me. It's you that I need to be wary of so don't you try turning this around them. On him." It took me a moment before I realised that my hand was locked in his. So I flicked it back away from himvthen pointed to the door. "The exit is..."

"Well I'm off." My mum stated pacing down the steps in her long black coat and her hair straightened and resting on her shoulders. Hanging on her arm her black prada bag and silver sandel like heels. "I'll be back by six or six-thirthy." She said and then kissed my cheek and smiled politely at Adrian.

"Bye mum." I said then asked. "Where's Kalypso?"

"Friend's place." She called out and then I heard the door slam closed. Suddenly Luke's thundering steps were out of my room and it's as if elephants are charging from upstairs. Oh no...

"What is he doing here?!" Luke bellowed and I swear his voice echoed around the room. Cole followed down behind him and I rolled my eyes at this whole situation.

"Don't you raise your voice at me mutt!" Adrian roared back furiously, ready for a fight. Which got me tense.

"Shut up both of you!" I snapped then Claire walked in from the kitchen holding a plate of some unaturally orange cake with a little decoration of the sun.

"Hey Elektra your sister made some chocolate cake but I changed it to a sun cake. Think she'll mind?" Claire randomly asked completely oblivious of the current circumstance so I sighed in bewilderement. Then she gazed over at Adrian she let go of the cake but stayed in place floating. As her mouth fell open, her orange eyes staring at him in amazement. As if this is the first time she's seen him in years... Hang on yes I saw him before but Claire hasn't seen him yet. She stepped around the cake her high bright orange heels lightly tapping on the floorboards. And I took step back as precaution. Then Luke and Cole followed my exact movements by stepping back. Even I can tell Adrian is nervous, I mean no one knows what goes on in that head of hers. And I have never seen her this stunned before. Would she really understand that Adrian is a bad person or...

Would she be awed by his golden hair?

That is the question and now my stomach is starting to feel uneasy. Every small step she took made everyone a little anxious. Suddenly she froze half way and I stopped breathing.

"You!" She screamed at the top of her lungs and then Adrain was slapped across the face by her perfect manicured hands.
