Someone stepped inside my tent and I'm assuming it's Elektra about to give me the dirty details. I sat up and saw that instead of Elektra, Claire kneeled down beside me her eyes boring into mine. Then they glowed and my sort of started hurting.

"Elektra never came on this trip with you, she fell ill and could not make it. So you went off alone and with the boys and their fathers stuck with annoying chatter on sport. Scott has brought spiders along to crawl in your tent so to get him back you opened the lid so they escaped inside their tent." What the hell is she on about? "You will now fall asleep... And dream about something orange." Uh what? Her eyes stopped glowing and I blinked a few times to then see that she disappeared from my sight. No way she couldn't of crawled out so fast. And all of Elektra's stuff is gone! Is she serious about all that crap? Is Elektra trying to pull a fast one on me? But what if she's serious? When her eyes glowed my eyes were burning...

I sat quietly next to Elektra in home room and she kept listening to other students blabber. She's always willing to listen to others, it stops the others from questioning her. That's why she does it. That night Claire was supposed to have brainwashed me or something, because the next morning I questioned the boys on where Elektra was.

"She never came remember she was sick." Jared had said which got me so confused. But then I realised I never took my contacts out that night at camp so Claire's 'power' didn't affect me at all. She's some kind of hypnotist but then what is Elektra? Where did she go? I want or question her but I'm afraid to ask, I don't really know if I want the answer. I looked at the blond guy Adrian who stared at me amused then concentrated on Elektra. Usually I'd suspect he's checking her out but what has he got to do with Elektra's life? Why is he part of this whole... Whatever it is. Now there's Luke who she ran off with and slept with, is he part of this? What is Elektra hiding? I caught Adrian staring at me again and often I would blush when cute guys stare at me but there's something off about him. I can't figure it out... But maybe he could tell me. He chuckled a little then focused on Elektra, I felt her tense beside me, her eyes narrowing at nothing in particular then she glared at Adrain. I watched as they had their stare down. It's like they're having this mind conversation or something... Wait no he looks like he's trying to reach out to her but she's shooing him off, mentally. Oh god I've lost it.

"Would you quit it!" She whispered hastily at him her face looking annoyingly pretty but vicious at the same time. How does she do it?

"I need to talk to you." He said and she glanced sideways at me then back at him.

"I don't want to hear anything from you."

"What are you guys on about?" I asked innocently and they both mumbled nothing. Suddenly two girls from my soccer team whom I'm close with, Ava and Nikki came to our table looking at Adrian. Ava a tall brunette and Nikki a tall, short haired blond.

"Um..." Ava stuttered her brown eyes looking at Nikki for a bit of assurance then she smiled almost flirtatiously at Adrian. "You're Adrian right?" She asked and Elektra sighed rolling her eyes while he smiled sweetly at them. The sweet smile of a snake.

"Yes Adrian Roth and who might you lovely ladies be?" He asked and Nikki blushed but answered straight away.

"I'm Nikki." She greeted excitedly then said in a bored tone. "And this is Ava." Elektra came close to my ear and whispered. "Can they make it anymore obvious?" I strained a smile and she cocked her head to the side confused. "Are you sure you're alright?"

"I'm fine." I answered trying to act normal but I can tell she's sensing my distress.

"So... Adrian did you and Elektra used to date?" Ava asked and Elektra jumped while Adrian clapped his hands together laughing.

"Alright who put you up to this?" She questioned and they looked at her nervously.

"Oh so you're not denying it?" Adrian said giving her a cheesy grin.

"Oh you wish." She stated annoyed then leaned back in her seat crossing her arms over her chest. He leaned forward all joking and sarcasm gone and his eyes looked soft.

"Yeah I do." As sweet as that sounds I'm not falling for it. He broke into her house while she was asleep... But the girls don't know that so awed at this while she scoffed. Instead of answering she held up six fingers at him and he rolled his eyes. "I know how long it's been and yet I still feel the same way."

"That's what I'm worried about." She said then the bell rang just as everything got interesting, and Elektra didn't waste a second before she bolted out the door for her next class. I got up at the same time as Adrian did and met him on the way tot the door.

"Uh... Adrian?" He turned around at the call of his name and stared at me amused. He also looks withered and exhausted there's no hiding that. "Can I talk to you?" I asked acting gave my knees feel like jelly.

"Depends." He answered and I stiffened not sure how to continue on.

"It's about Elektra."

"Then I'm afraid I'm use to you there." He simply stated then turned around to walk off.

"Wait a minute I know that you know something... About her... That you need to tell me... Alright listen I know I'm doing a crap job of this but can you tell me...." I stopped when his eyes started glowing bright blue.

"Tell you what?" He's just like Claire! Some hypnosis weirdos...

"Never mind..." I speed walked away from him out of the room and clutched the books tightly to my chest. What has she been hiding from me? That's what's bugging me the most. That she's being keeping a secret from me, and I have never ever kept a secret from her. I thought we told each other everything.

"What was it you wanted to tell me?" I heard Elektra's voice around the corner and so I backed myself up against the wall to eavesdrop. I want to get to the bottom of this, I have a right a to.

"It's about Luke, something's happened to him." I heard Cole say they were silent for a few seconds.

"What do you mean?" She asked in a timid voice which I've never heard come from her before.

"He's... He's gone." He said.

"Pardon?"

"He died a few nights ago..." That's impossible. I don't think dead people can make out that hot.

"That's impossible..."

"I know it's hard to believe. I couldn't even believe it." He kept on talking and every once in awhile I heard Elektra trying to interject. "His memorial is this Saturday."

"Wait wow wow wow... Cole..." I peeked around and saw that he was hugging her. "Uh, hey Cole it's ok."

"You're so brave." He said then sniffled and I covered my mouth to stop the giggles. From her expression I can she's trying to hold her smile then she started to fake cry. He pulled away and held her shoulders. "He was a good man."

"He was... Could you come over today?" She asked him and he nodded and smiled sympathetically. "There's something I have to show you."

"What is it?"

"He'd want it to be a surprise." Why won't she let me in on this? And why does Cole think he's dead? "Just meet me after school at my car." She said then started walking my way. I turned around speed walked down the hallway and turned down another corridor heading for one of the science labs. That explained nothing except that Cole isn't very bright and Elektra has a big surprise for him.

I didn't see Elektra till second period which is Humanities, I don't know where she disappeared to at recess but I was afraid to question her. She looked like she'd just run a mile, whatever happened at recess it knocked her out. She gazed at me and smiled warmly then yawned a little.

"Where were you at recess?" I asked and she puffed out some more air.

"Has to deal with some trouble makers, some guys were trespassing on the school grounds."

"What did you do?!" I asked a little too loudly and she smirked proudly.

"Kicked them out of course, no one can throw eggs at students and get away with it. I would have if they were throwing them at Scott." I had to laugh at that.

"What about Adrian?" I dared to ask and she laughed.

"He'd have them tied on a railway in a blink of an eye for messing up his hair." She said then scowled when he turned around from the front of the room and wiggled his eyebrows at her. She poked her tongue out at him then his eyes glowed for a split second and at the tip of her ice appeared and she stuck back in and covered her mouth while glaring at him incredulously.

"He just froze your tongue." I whispered sand she whipped her head in my direction.

"No he didn't." She laughed and showed me her tongue to reveal nothing. The ice would have melted in her mouth of course but I shrugged and went along with it. "You know I'm surprised you haven't prodded me with questions about my new boyfriend." She whispered and I jolted up ready. Hey I'm mad at her but of course I want to know about this guy. Plus she might not knowingly give something away...

"You left to fend for myself at camp for a guy. You've changed..."

"You don't understand. He compelled me and forced himself in my room." She over dramatically said and I felt my mouth fall open.

"He crossed the barrier and forced himself on you!" I whispered acting shocked and she giggled deviously.

"Actually I had to force myself onto him." She suddenly said disappointedly. "He's been at my place since Saturday night."

"Your mum's letting him stay over?"

"Not exactly..."

"She doesn't know." I gasped as she smiled oh so innocently. "Has he tried anything?"

"We make out but that's it." She said and frowned.

"You sound disappointed by that."

"I want more than just making out, because I want to bring out his secret dark side. He wants to wait till I'm eighteen."

"Sounds like a sensible guy. So why is he with you?" I asked sarcastically and she gave a sideways glare but she still smiled.

"Boobs." She answered and I cracked up laughing. "Nah he's good guy, I'm surprised he even wants to wait. It's his idea not mine. So I'm not going easy on him, I'm going to keep throwing myself until he finally catches."

"When did you get so horny?"

"Have you seen him? I've trying so hard to get him hard, it's worked but..."

"Oh god Elektra! I'm so glad he's making you wait."

"Hey!"

"Think about it the longer you wait the hotter it's going to get. The more hungry you're both going to be..." I said and she thought about while staring off into the distance than she started giggling and shuffling her feet around excitedly.

"Oh I can't wait!" She squealed and a few students looked at her funny. But we just ignored them and continued giggling. "So how's Matt?"

"Well he hasn't been sneaking up into my room... Yet." I added and thought about how romantic it would be if he did. Nope... Actually it would be kind of creepy. "But I do have a date with him this Friday night." That was what I came to tell her before when I saw her with Cole and Adrian. He actually asked me out and I forgot!

"Ooh where are you guys going!"

"Just the movies. I don't know what movie yet but I'm hoping to be concentrating on something else." She didn't really frown but her big grin turned into a small smile.

"Be careful alright, no funny business."

"Says the girl that keeps jumping her boyfriend although she's only ever know him for how long exactly?" I accused and she narrowed her eyes to the ground.

"Well I've known him for a little longer than that." She said and I looked at her curiously. Before I opened my mouth to question her the teacher got up from his desk to check if we were doing our work. So we quickly got started on our actual work looking at the Middle Ages feudal system, then she passed me a note.

He saved my life six years ago.

How come she gets all the drama romance. In fact this is another thing she's kept from me, she's met him before and she's never mentioned him to me. She also never mentioned that her life was threatened! That's definitely something you tell your best friend! She's kept a lot from me... And yet I still feel she's more things hidden from my sight.
