Luke

I opened my eyes startled by the burning on my shoulder. I looked to see a feminine hand with long black painted nails resting peacefully on my shoulder. Oh my God I slept with her! But just slept, nothing else unfortunately. I gazed up at her sleeping face that lay so close to mine and had to restrain myself from caressing her face. I want to snuggle with her but that would weird her out. She is only letting me sleep in her bed because I miss my own but I have noticed her checking me out. And now I'm kind of in a awkward spot, I need to move her hand off me because this tingling feeling is reaching down under. I gently lifted up her hand to move it to her side of the bed. But she pulled me in and snuggled into my stomach like well a cat. I couldn't help but smirk at myself when she started purring. But this is so wrong... And yet it feels so right.

"Elektra?" I whispered and she didn't even stir.

Elektra

Warm so warm. I just want to stay warm and sleep. Meow so warm.

"Elektra?" Some male voice whispered but I ignored it and snuggled in deeper into the warm, solid... What am I snuggling into? I fluttered my eyes open to see black so I looked up to see the most beautiful golden eyes staring down at me. "Good morning." He grinned sleepily. I groaned in response and turned over so my back was facing him and hid under the covers, partly to hide from the sunlight and to hide my blushing cheeks. I felt him behind me laughing a little then he moved away and I lost the wonderful heat from his body. Meow I don't want to face the world yet I just want to stay in bed with this gorgeous guy next to me. It's only Sunday I would sleep in more but I can't just ignore Luke. How can anyone ignore a sexy man in your bed? I groaned again and started stretching out on the bed trying to wake the rest of my body up. I pulled the covers off and gasped and the quick drop of the temperature. Shit it's cold! I stood up on the cold floor boards and started stretching my arms and my back, however when I turned around I caught Luke staring at the far wall blushing like crazy. I just stretched jeez do men take every action sexually? Probably.

"Relax it's not like I'm naked." I told him and his face went a deeper red said if that's possible. "You haven't seen me naked right?" I asked raising my eyebrows and he looked at me shocked.

"No!" He said in a high pitched voice. Oh my Gods! I can't stop smiling and I can feel my cheeks burn up again.

"You dirty dog." I said and he looked away from me ashamed. "Hungry?" I asked changing the subject but he gave me a strange look.

"Pardon?"

"For food." I giggled and he laughed nervously.

"I'm ravenous." He said getting out of my bed.

"Oh I know you are." I stated then looked at the clock. 8:00am ok my family often wake up early. I pray to the powerful Gods of Olympus for them to still be asleep. I walked across the freezing floorboards and peeked out my door listening for my family's snoring. Even my dogs are snoring loudly. The reason why I haven't mentioned them before is because they don't like me very much, you know ever since I was bitten.

"Alright come on." I whispered gesturing him to follow me down the white carpeted staircase and we walked soundlessly into the kitchen. I turned on him and raised my hands in the air. "Welcome to casa le Elektra's kitchen where I give you 5 star quality food and 3 and a half star treatment. On the menu...." I opened the fridge and took out some raw bacon. "Bacon oh and we have a few eggs left." I stared at Luke showing him the food and he nodded in approval. I set up the frying pan and started looking for drinks. "Apple juice, orange juice or water?" I asked and we both stuck with water. Once the pan heated up I put the bacon in and turned away form the stove only to crash into a hard chest. Luke stumbled backwards a bit from the impact but straight away he stood back up tall and strong. I looked up from his chest to his lips then to his eyes. "Sorry." We both said at the same time but neither of us moved a muscle. His gold eyes are locking me in place. I want to move but can't bring myself to step away from him. He hasn't moved either, he's actually just staring intently at me like he's looking deep into my soul. It's one of those possessive gazes a boyfriend would give his girlfriend. I very much like this look and giving me confidence in something I've been dying to do ever since I first met him. "Luke?" I whispered for no reason,

"Yeah?" He whispered back.

Luke

"Yeah?" I whispered watching her mouth turn up and her eyes glistened as she grabbed my face with her soft hands. I gladly let her lead my face to hers until our lips touched lightly but that was enough to feel an electric shock go through my body. I encircled my arms around her waist and pulled her in closer as if it were possible and she responded with her hands feeling their way into my hair. I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance but she pulled back, so I followed her trying to keep my lips stuck on hers but she covered my mouth with her hand. I opened my eyes to see her starring at the staircase in the hallway with a worried expression. That's when I heard footsteps coming down. "Mum's up!" She removed my hands from her waist and I frowned in disappointment. However she then grabbed the collar of my shirt and effortlessly threw me up at the ceiling. I started crawling across into the next room which appears to be a dining room I froze when I heard an older woman's voice greet Elektra a good morning.

"Morning mum I'm just making bacon for breakfast." She stated sounding out of breath. I smirked knowing the reason why.

"Elektra? What are you doing back so early?" Her mother yawned. I got a glimpse of her and saw that she is definitely a younger version of her mother. Except Elektra has has long brown wavy hair while her mother's hair is shoulder length, lighter colour brown and has blond streaks in it. Also her mother's skin is a little darker.

"We decided to cancel because of all the vampires running around. A cat like me couldn't protect five humans at the same time." She said but in a sarcastic tone.

"Heard your imaginary story now the real one." Her mother stated which confused me completely.

"Well Olivia's dad didn't want to go out to an area where the murderer could be lurking so I just stayed at Olivia's for the day and came home late." It's amazing how she can just lie like that which has me kind of worried. And yet curious.... Shouldn't her mother know?

"Oh Elektra you could of stayed the night. But it would of been better if they told us it was cancelled before you went." Her mother said.

"Yeah it would have." She mumbled.

"Here I'll make breakfast." That's it no more questions asked? She just believes whatever she says. Ok.... I heard someone's foot steps come into the dining room and Elektra appeared in the doorway and she jumped when she saw me.

'Oh Luke.' What? We have a mind link? I knew it we are mates! But I'm pretty sure we only get a mind after we've actually... Mated. 'Jeez one kiss and already you're thinking of...' I stopped her before she said... That.

'I'll be waiting in your bedroom just bring up the bacon.' I said gruffly while leaping to the floor landing in a perfect crouching position without making a sound.

"Show off." She whispered out loud but was smiling at me. I looked away to hide the redness in my cheeks and started walking upstairs. I can't believe we have our mind link already. Maybe the whole mate thing is different for were cats. But Creepy Blond Guy did say they don't get mates, that the rules of soul mates don't apply to her. I stepped inside her room instantly smelling her everywhere. It all hit me at once and I got a little dizzy. Amazing! I must have been to sleepy last night to realise how much everything smelt of her. Her room is not what I expected. In all honesty I expected a really girlie room with lots of posters, fluffy pillows and you know really neat. This room however is kind of a mess, no fluffy pink things except for some soft toys sitting up on her wardrobe staring at me and yes there are two posters of the were wolf from Twilight and three pictures of some friends of hers with one direction standing behind them. Although I think they're photo shopped. The bed is dark hard wood, the walls are a dark shade of purple. Her favourite colour. Ceiling however is white with strange carvings and holds an old glass chandelier. There's a CD player at the other end of the room with CDs stacked around it, two large book shelves filled with novels that are all probably fiction and then there's the desk. Dark hardwood like the bed and the wardrobe just has a few scratches on it. Not claw marks. Interesting..... It also has a laptop more novels but what really caught me eye is the art books stacked on the top. I opened up the top one and I am most certainly impressed. Dragons, chimera, witches, were cats, warriors, tree creatures, trolls, mermaids and then there's the last picture of a snake woman. She's written on the bottom were snake then written 'may meet in future'. Short black hair, penetrating green eyes, fair skin with dark red lips, a woman's torso but a snake tail where the legs should be. Wow I wonder if any of these creatures are real. The next one caught me off guard, that day at the lake her in my arms while I stood in the water. But she drew those water women hiding behind a rock watching and eyes in the sky watching. I flipped to the next page and saw my wolf form eating raw meat on a plate. Next one was us at the book store fingers tips touching as I was giving her the book but she drew electricity around her arm. Does she feel the tingles too?

"Do you mind!" Elektra appeared out of nowhere and snatched the book out of my hands handing me the plate full of pieces of bacon and knives and forks. I ignored the knives and forks and just took the piece of bacon with my hand.

"You're amazingly talented Elektra." I complimented earning myself a blush and an eye roll.

"Just eat your bacon." She ordered and we sat down on her bed and ate. We naturally are sitting really close to each, practically knee to knee and shoulder to shoulder. I'm really surprised about what an appetite she has. I never pictured her as one to eat so much. Thinking that is now taking me back to our kiss, the tingles and the electric feeling I wonder if she felt it too. I watched her mouth as she ate, she stared down at the floor her forehead creasing.

"What you thinking?" Does she regret the kiss?

"I'm just... Worried about what's going to happen now. Will you tell your Pack about me? The truth?" I'm willing to do anything for her, she should know that by now. However explaining everything to my Alpha maybe difficult. Especially because of Marcus, I just need to get him alone.

"Of course I will. I just need to go to my Alpha he will understand." I told her trying to be reassuring but she stared at me doubtfully.

"Luke your Alpha is working with the King of Wizards and some vampire scums just to kill me." What is she talking about? My Alpha would never stoop so low to work with vampires.

"No way not possible he hates those leeches." I assured but she wasn't convinced.

"Well even if he does somehow kill me it would only end badly for him. My Pride aren't exactly merciful and only the fates know what they'd do if their Alpha dies from a wolf's claw." She spoke in a strange voice. As if she were all knowing but annoyed.

"Who is Alpha?" I assume the lioness would be in charge. Just a simple guess but what Elektra said shocked me. "I am Alpha." She said in a duh tone and I literally started choking on my bacon. She started laughing and slapped my back. "Love your reaction." Once I finally calmed down I just stared at her.

"I'm sorry it's just... you can't be Alpha." I realised what I'd just said and it sounded a little better in my head. She stood up crossing her arms over her chests and stared me down.

"Why not exactly?" She challenged so I stood up and looked down at her smirking. She's so cute when she's trying to tough.

"You're just too sweet." I said truthfully and I'm not joking she's too nice to people... Well that is what I thought before Scott's birthday.

"Aww..." She patted my cheek and stared at me right in the eye. Is she going to kiss me again? "You have a lot to learn about me wolf man." She said seriously then walked away.

"I guess I really do."
