Summery:

Okays so a lot of people can get really confused when reading a longer novel with long updates between the chapters and other novels. So I'm going to do a quick summary of the two novels I've already written. This will include spoilers if you haven't finished this book...

THE WERECAT OF LINCOLN FOREST:

Dex and Mae are two twins that move to Cloudcroft NM. Two months after they arrive Dex is attacked by a werecat named Charlotte, wearing a crystal necklace, who claims to have been under a dark spell. She and Dex get along quite well and Dex even likes her. Together they keep their secret, in the woods. 

Soon after Dex meets Charlotte he meets Red and Dillan who are hunting Charlotte down because she's a friggen murderer. Mae on the other hand hates Charlotte but is friends with Red and Dillan. Soon after the twins are both captured by June, a werecat, and Kya an ex-order member gone cat. We then learn Mae is part of the Order, a group dedicated to killing werecats.

Two more months later we are introduced to Dex's coo-coo cat, Nick, who tells him the wrong thing to do, and makes him kill people. After being stopped by Red from killing people the next night Red tells Dex he needs to find his uncle for weird mysterious reasons.

After Dex uses his weird cat powers to find where his uncle lives from Mae, he goes and Mae finds out Dillan and Red are cats. Long story short they both get locked in prison and Dex goes ballistic. Mae is saved by a guy named Xander from certain death by Nick.

Later Dex escapes from prison, beats up Red, and joins the werecat pride. There he bes stupid and starves himself half to death. Mae escapes and then due to some taunting Mae kills her uncle. That's when they both become mad at each other, and the book ends, only it doesn't. In the epilogue, Mae calls the Order for backup and Dex becomes the new Alpha. Now THE END!!

THE WERECAT'S TWIN: (This is long, get ready)

To start this book we are introduced to several new characters such as Lily, the werecat and Dex's pretty much only friend besides Charlotte, and Kyra, Emma, Emilie, JJ, and Zay, all of whom are members of the Order and based off of people in real life. 

They have several mad attempts to kill Dex, who continually makes sarcastic and childish comments throughout the book. They also learn that June is Red's sister, Dillan dreams of an evil wolf made of shadows, who works with June, and werecats can be burned by gold.

However, Mae pretty much denies a single truth throughout the entire first part of the novel. SHE IS A WERECAT OF ALPHA BLOOD!! Finally she shifts, thanks to Dex and Xander, who is also a werecat without a cat, so I suppose he's a were..?

When they shift they lose control and kill a man and are spotted by another. Afterwards they get breakfast and go back, thanks to Mae, to face the consequences of their actions. Only when they get back, it isn't pretty, but long story short, Dex and Mae are captured by the Lunar Claws company.

There they meet Beth and Charlie, two ex-order members that joined their sworn enemy's side, and Ashley, a werecat who was picked up by Lunar Claws too. After they fight for their freedom, Dex hears another voice, that kind of leads us into the plot of the remaining books. Then they get on a bus and meet, Willow, a werewolf who is dating Dillan, Ava an owl shifter, and finally Eliva a coyote shifter. 

Once the twins return they discover Lily has moved in with the Order. Dex and Lily have some stupid friendship/love drama, because Lily likes Dex but Dex still likes Charlotte, and kind of Lily. All the while the June and her Shadow Army make threats and other junk, but nobody cares!

Finally Dex decides to care so they compete in some games that end up in a tie between Dex and Kyra. To break the tie Dex they play a survival game which pretty much goes up in flames when an angry mob, looking for the twin werecats turns up and Mae challenges Dex, where she loses... BADLY!! Although Dex doesn't kill anyone, he does trap everyone in Cloudcroft, until he can make a potion that wipes their memory.

That's finally when the Shadow Army attacks. 

In the end, Eliva, Zay, and Xander die. JJ has amnesia. Emma and Emilie quit the Order, and Kyra is just chill, and goes home. June, who was actually possessed the entire time, Red, Willow, and Dillan return to their home. And everyone lives happily ever after... WRONG!

Due to the fact that that they are low on time, Dex's memory potion has a nasty twist. It can be reversed if anyone sees his face again, so he and the others must leave. Only when they are trying to leave Lily is trapped and Mae returns to save her, only to lose HER memory. To end the novel, Lily stays with Mae and Dex and the Werecat Pride go into the unknown land. That's how the second novel comes to a close so... THE END!!!

Announcement:

I just want to confirm, for anyone who is confused, that there will be a third novel in this series. It shall be called; The Lost Werecat, in case you haven't heard. It will also be published on July 1st, aka tomorrow! So to celebrate, I shall give you all a little teaser!

The sky was as dark as a raven's wing, with only the moon to watch over any travelers that just so happened to be out at this early hour. Stars might have been out if there weren't so many clouds. The sparkling diamonds in the sky always made me smile. Although nothing seemed able to block out the moon when it was so big, bright and full.

It was early October and the air seemed extra snappy today. A few rebellious raindrops fell onto my head, but the wind blew them straight off. There had been a lot of rain lately. Although none could ruin my bright spirits. No chill that rattled me to the bone, either.

I was racing through the woods, like I had grown a pair of wings. I was surprisingly silent for a body that was so large. No twigs snapped under my weight, no leaves disturbed by my swift presence. My paws carried me dutifully and my whiskers twitched with anticipation. I was no more than a shadow under the moonlight.

Maybe I should explain something before I continue on. My name is Mae Marwood and I am a 16 year-old werecat.
