You know it's bad when..." 9:21 pm 2/6/25

"You know it's bad when", is commonly used during shit talking or gossiping. It never fails to amaze me how petty and not bad these things are. Such as: "you know it's bad when the good looking guy shaves his head" or "you know it's bad when we get that much math homework" everyone laughs at it despite how pathetic it is to linger on such things. I find myself studying how I could put this phase logically into my life. It always sounded something like this: You know it's bad when you've only just now noticed that repeating "i want to go home" for years when things are getting too much was my way of begging for a safe place away from the cruelty of the world. "You know it's bad when.." you absolutely dread school due to the anxiety it brings. "You know it's bad when.." you find yourself digging your fingernails into your arms to distract yourself from the situation at hand. ... you know its back when you are so emotionally aware that it makes everything hard. You know its back when you get to this stage of over analysing yourself and your every emotion. Those are some of the universe's greatest challenges that it has gifted me. Do not ever come to me and start or end your sentences with "you know its bad when". It always is followed by something pathetic and i hate to hear it.

I admit, "you know it's bad when" is always the last few words of any conversation i will here. i will not stick around to hear the end of that sentence.
