Chapter 9
Keila POV
I try my best to stay hopeful, for the future, but each time I try, something is always in the way. I sighed as I stared at my screen. I was finally home, but I didn't have much to do. I went to my hangouts and saw few replies, as I didn't have many people to talk to anyways.
I walked away to the living room, where I started to unpack all my things, my parents had left, and my brothers decided they had wanted to come, they were looking for houses, and my brothers didn't have anything to do at home so that's what their choice was.
I put most of my clothes into the laundry, as they had gotten pretty dirty, I quickly finished and put the bag away and turned on the tv, where I usually listened to music since there was radio there too. I started to listen to the music and danced along, just a little, but little did I know that whatever I would do was a bad idea.

Narrator POV
"Ow!" Keila said as she held her arm.
She had decided to take off her cast for just a while, but as she walked around, she felt pain coursing through her arm, she had ignored it, until the pain was too much. She tied the cast back on and tried to ignore the pain, but that wasn't going to be easy. She decided to go on her laptop, thinking to contact her parents, who didn't know about the swollen, bruised, twisted arm, but as she went on, she saw another email from Mr. Reiter.
Hello Keila,
How are you doing? Is that arm any better?
From,
Mr. Reiter
It was sent just a few minutes before she had seen it, she decided she might as well reply.
Hi Mr. Reiter,
It's doing fine, just painful right now. I don't know what it is, but there is just a big pain in there, but thanks for being so concerned, don't worry about it.
Thanks,
Keila
She sighed as she stared at the message, she pressed send and instantly got a reply.
I'm still at school, and I hear you live nearby, let me come over and help.
- Mr. Reiter.
She decided to reply, but she didn't know if she would regret this.
If you'd like to, I live in the apartment across from the market, not the one near the school. It is about a 5-minute drive okay? Just email me when you get here.
- Keila
Soon, she got a reply.
I'm here Keila
- Mr. Reiter
Keila walked out of her apartment and down the stairs to see Mr. Reiter waiting at the door, she opened it up and watched as he walked in.
"Are you sure you'll be fine?" He asked.
"I'm okay, just a pain having the cast on too." She said as she held her arm behind her back.
He put out his hand, for her to put her arm on. Kalika did and sighed as he unravelled it. He stared and looked carefully.
"It's gotten worse, you told it me it was getting better." Mr. Reiter said as he wrapped it back around.
"I.. I know," Keila said. "I just can't have you worrying."
"Keila..." He started but decided not to finish.
He watched as she grimaced in pain, he instantly put an arm around her.
"Keila? Keila? Are you okay?" He said as he looked at her.
For the first time, she decided to tell the truth. "N-no." She said as she shook her head and held her arm tight.
