Chapter 36
Keila POV
I watched as Jonah went on with the work I'd given him, waiting for him to finish so we could finish the rest of the project together. I smiled and started to chat with Samara. As we finished we started to do the rest of the project. Sticking poems on the teacher's doors.
I and Samara had started this a while ago and now, in a sense, we were addicted to doing it. We somehow dragged Jonah into this, but I'm honestly glad we did, now, I consider us friends, best friends? Not yet. Just friends? Maybe more. Close friends? Yeah.
I'm glad that we're addicted to this because without this project, I wouldn't be friends with Samara, Percy, or Jonah. Even though I and Samara may or may not have dragged Percy and Jonah into this.
"I don't want to except the challenge," Samara said as she stared at me like I was crazy.
"Well, I'm sorry, we're doing this for your own good," I said slightly laughing, turning to Jonah. "Right?"
"Yeah, should we make it easier?" He replied as he kept working.
"Yes, please," Samara replied as she counted how many papers we had.
"Okay, then, well how about...." I thought for a moment, "How about no referencing for 5 days?"
"Fine," She said and I smiled.
See, Samara loved anything that had to do with k-pop. I couldn't help but give her this challenge because why not?
"You've got 5 seconds before we start," I said counting down and I watched as she blurted out everything she could in five, four, three, two...
"One, now until Wednesday," I smiled and watched as Jonah finished up. "I'm gonna be testing you, Samara, I'm sorry, but I have to,"
"You're so cruel!" She said jokingly.
"I know, I'm sorry," I said as I got up, "let's start."
We ended up getting tape and soon we started, soon finishing as Samara was just about to leave. Somehow I got Jonah to stay, he really was a good friend. We ended up talking about so much, I felt like I could just pour out everything, but as usual, I didn't, I just ended up pouring out my "life" story. About my history and things like that, but not too much, just enough for him to get to know me and I to get to know him.
Finally, it was 5'oclock. He left and soon it would be my turn. All I know is that I've finally found a new friend that I can trust in.
