Eddward wakes up at the crack of dawn after having passed out the night before and his head is still pounding he is still at the kitchen table but his vision is clearing up. "Just in time." He looks at the clock, 5:37am. He grabs his swim bag and starts running towards the school. Luckily one of the janitors was there so he could go train some more before the meet. He changes into his speedo and jumps into the water. Finally the swimmer is feeling better now that he is in his "home". The tall boy practices until he notices it is nearly 8am and the bus leaves in thirty minutes. The swimmer approaches the area the bus will pick them up and sees his ginger standing there, holding something. "Hey whatcha got there pumpkin?" The Raven haired boy says while going to grab the sign. "O-oh uh Eddward Uhm nothing!" The swimmer then takes the sign out the ginger's hand and reads it "GO EDDWARD GO! I LOVE YOU!" Next to the words is a very badly drawn stick figure in what the swimmer can assume is a pool. Eddward feels his face slightly turn warm he then puts the hood up on his warm up jacket. "That's nice pumpkin." The tall boy then pats the redhead on the top of his red hat and walks away. "Shit that was cute." The tall boy thinks to himself trying to avoid being seen blushing.

The bus arrives and Eddward gets on but decides to sit alone. "Fuck, my head." He grabs his temples trying anything to cure this week long headache. His stomach is also in pain too feeling like it is still eating itself. "Once this is over I can relax..." The tall boy thinks to himself and places his head on the back of the seat in front of him. They arrive at the school about an hour later, the rival team is waiting outside for them. "Hey look it's double dork! I heard you like only boys now, man things sure have changed since you left here." Their team captain steps forward laughing and trying to mock Eddward but the peach creak swimmer is unphased. "Well at least I am getting some, unlike you." The Raven haired boy says while walking past the captain of central high. As he is walking away he hears a familiar timid voice squeak "uh-Please return my glasses I canno-" the ginger can't even finish his statement before Eddward is behind the redhead placing his glasses back on his face while holding him close and death glaring the rival swimmer in front of him. "Oh I see, this one is yours!" The rival swimmer laughs. "He reminds me of you when you first came here." He laughs again  and walks away running to the captain's side. "Let's go pumpkin stay close to me, the jocks here are ruthless." He grabs Kevin's hand and leads him through the halls.

"E-Eddward you used to go here?" The ginger asks looking up at his lover. "Unfortunately. My aunts estate is about a mile away this whole area is full of rich snobs." Just then he hears someone running towards them screeching "DOUBLE CUTIE YOU CAME BACK TO VISIT DADDY!!!" A teal haired boy then jumps on Eddward's back.  "Oh great, it's you." The swimmer rolls his eyes and prys the boy off his back. "Pumpkin this is Nathaniel. He's definitely a character and obsessed with asses. I swear to god though Nat if you touch my ass or his you will be watching the swim meet from hell." The swimmer death glares at the teal haired boy. "Oh darling, you're as cold as ever I see. Come on please I just want a little touch oooo how about a picture!" He the pulls a camera out of god knows where and Eddward snatches it quickly. "Absolutely not Nat. I'm confiscating this until you learn to behave." He then grabs his lover again and begins to walk away. "Uh-Uhm it was nice meeting you Nathaniel!" The ginger says while being dragged along. "Great if my head didn't hurt enough already, the swim meet just had to be here." The swimmer thinks to himself as his vision slightly blurs for a moment.

The boys arrive at the schools pool area and the swimmer brings the redhead to a seat. "This spot has a great view of the pool so sit here. I shall get ready now and I'll see you after I win." He grins over at his redhead. "W-wait Uhm Eddward!" The timid boy says. "Yes, pumpkin?" The ginger then stands up and gets on his toes as he boldly kisses the tall boy. "G-Good luck." The freckled boy is now blushing hard. "Y-yeah." The swimmer replies caught off guard. He walks away smiling and for a brief moment his headache subsides. Groups of people crowd in and everyone is either wearing peach creak colors or central colors. Kevin then sees his friend Nazz stroll in wearing her cheer uniform. "HEY NAZZ! UP HERE!" The bubbly girl sees Kevin and waves them heads up towards him. "hey dude! I'm glad to see you here! Let's cheer on Eddward together!" The blonde girl says smiling widely.

The rival swim team makes their appearance and there is a roar of boo's and cheers from the now packed pool room. The redhead anxiously waits for peach creak's team to appear and to see his boyfriend in a speedo once again. "AND NOW RIVALING CENTRAL HIGH FOR THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP PEACH CREAK HIGH!" The swim team then comes out and the crowd is again battling with boo's and cheers. Kevin then feels a tap on his shoulder. "Hey! It's you the pumpkin!" The teal haired boy from earlier says happily smiling. "Oh hello Nathaniel! My name is Kevin Anderson. It is nice to meet you!" The redhead says reaching out to shake his hand. "Oh my goodness you are just like double cutie when he first came to central, it's too cute! Are you his sex slave?" Nat asks with a big goofy grin. "Uh-Uhm well we are dating..." The freckled boy says while blushing. "I'm happy for you! Do you mind if I sit here! I just need to get some pics of the swim team." The teal haired boy then pulls out another camera and starts taking pics. "Oh yes! That's what daddy likes!" He says nearly drooling. "U-Uhm where did you get another camera?" The redhead says very stunned at this boys openness. "Places." He then winks at the ginger.

The meet is about to start and everyone is tense. "Swimmers take your places." Kevin looks and Eddward steps up. "Get ready!..... Set! ...... Go!" A sound rings through the air and they take off. Typically, the races are a breeze and Eddward is usually done way before the others but this time it's close....very close. "Peach creak high wins the first race!" The redhead then let's out a sigh of relief. "Ooooo that was intense but look at this picture I got of Eddward's ass sticking out the water!" Nat says turning the camera to the ginger. "U-Uhm that's nice." The redhead says blushing. He looks and sees his lover looking over at him but he's also glaring towards Nat. Nat waves like an idiot and Kevin smiles and waves while Nazz throws a thumbs up. Kevin then remembers his sign and throws that in the air and then the swimmer looks away quickly after feeling his face turn hot. "Damn him and that cute sign."  The swimmer thinks. All the sudden his vision starts fading again and he feels weak but he focuses on the meet. "I need to win." He says  In his mind.

The next race starts and the whole meet is basically neck and neck. It's finally time for the final race. The Raven haired boy is sweating knowing this race determines it all. He looks over to where is boyfriend is and he's holding up that damn sign again. "I hope I can make you proud, pumpkin, mother, and father." Tears almost fill is eyes as he thinks about his parents but he pulls it together he cannot lose focus. "swimmers take your positions!"
Eddward takes his spot next to central high's captain. "Good luck dweeb." The captain says. "Yeah, whatever." Eddward replies as he feels his headache grow worse and his breathing starts to become quicker. "Ready....set....go!"

Eddward takes off using all his energy. Everyone is watching as it is literally neck and neck between the two captains the entire time but Kevin notices Eddward slowing down a bit. "EDDWARD YOU CAN DO IT!" The redhead stands up and shouts he watches as his lover speeds up. The race is so close it isn't even clear who the victor is until the announcer finally says. "THE WINNER IS PEACH CREAK HIGH THEY TAKE THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!" The crowd roars overpowering the boo's of central high. Eddward gets out the water and looks over at his boyfriend who is smiling and cheering still like crazy.  Nat snaps pictures and the swimmer doesn't even care because he did it. He won. He is happy and smiling. The teams line up to shake hands. "Good job." Is repeated over and over between the teammates and finally it's time for the captions to shake hands. "Good job, Eddward I guess you did alright out there." The central high captain says. "Good job to you too, you actually kept up with my spe-" just before he can finish his sentence his vision blurs but this time it's worse. He feels dizzy and weak and starts sweating. "Mother?" He says as he starts falling to the ground. Kevin stands up worried watching his lover try and keep balance as he slowly falls over. Everything then feels like it's in slow motion for both boys. People rush towards Eddward's side as he slowly fades out of consciousness and his breathing becomes shallow. Kevin starts rushing towards the swimmers side but is pushed aside by teachers trying to get everyone to stay back. "Everyone give him space." The redhead watches anxiously as they check for his pulse. "Mrs. Jones please get the nurse I am having a hard time finding his pulse and also is the ambulance on its way?" The coach from the rival team says while he keeps checking. "Got it sir and yes they are on there way!" Minutes that feel like hours pass and the ambulance arrives hauling Eddward off without confirming if he was going to be okay. The ginger is in hysterics as Nazz and Nat try and comfort him. "E-e-Eddward!" The boy screams before he completely breaks down. "Come on bud let's go to the hospital" Nazz says as her and Nat  both carry the crying ginger to the car.

"Eddward please....I can't lose you." Kevin says quietly as his breathing becomes erratic and his crying starts up again.
