"Eddward....." The elegant woman says while still on the floor. "Thank God my precious nephew is alive." She then continues to cry but out of happiness and relief. Everyone in the waiting room then gets up and walks over to Liane and they all get on the ground and hug. Moments later they all stand up and the doctor says "He isn't awake yet but he is expected to fully recover. He passed out due to a multitude of reasons including malnutrition and lack of sleep. Has anyone noticed anything different?" Kevin then remembers that for the past week or so Eddward has been eating without him or so he thought. The redhead feels guilty now for not paying closer attention to his boyfriend. "Uhm mr. Doctor sir, he claimed to have already eaten whenever he made me food...I...I'm sorry this is my fault. I apologize to you to ms. Liane for not taking better care of your nephew..." The ginger is now holing back tears due to guilt. "Kevin, no sweetie this is not your fault. I am Eddward's caregiver and also he knew he wasn't eating that wasn't something you could have noticed so easily." The beautiful woman says hugging Kevin tight. "Also, call me Aunt Liane." She smiles. Kevin smiles back.

A few hours pass and it is starting to get late. "Hey kev, I really have to go home dude I have so much backed up homework. I'm sorry but I'll be back tomorrow! Please update me!" The bubbly girl says as she hugs the redhead. "Bye Liane it was nice meeting you I hope to see you tomorrow also!" The blonde then hugs the elegant woman before heading towards the elevator. "Hey guys I should get going too....I have a huge test to study for and my parents will be pissed if I fail again! I will see you guys tomorrow!" The teal haired boy waves as he runs towards the elevator that Nazz is now holding open for him. The both smile and wave as the door closes. There's a bit of awkward silence between the two that remain in the waiting room until Liane finally speaks. "So Kevin how did you meet Eddward? I'm really interested. He never opened up to me once about liking anyone ever and once he got older he completely closed off from me and everyone else." The woman says smiling.
The redhead takes a moment to think. "W-well I've honestly liked Eddward from the first moment I saw him. On my birthday I was moving to peach creek and I saw a boy across the street who also was moving in and in that moment I just knew. Eventually in school he came up to me first because I was way too shy. He was trying to bully me and I knew it but when I was nice to him he just...glowed. He would smile back even if it had a hint of deviousness. He...he also made my life better too. Which is why I am so happy that he will be back to smiling soon and I will make sure of that." The boy then frowns for a moment remembering something else. "There was a time before this when I thought I would never see him again. I was a mess. It was sophomore year and he disappeared for almost the whole year and when he returned late in that year, It's a little embarrassing to confess this but it was one of the best days of my life." the ginger blushes confessing all of this to his lovers aunt. "I'm happy he has you and I'm going to make sure I'm around more also...I regret leaving for so long it was selfish but this really showed me how important family is. I just hope I didn't disappoint my dear sister too much. Also, I apologize to you because sophomore year I returned home and had him live with me. I didn't really give him a choice and If I'm being honest I could tell he was missing someone." Liane's eyes fill with tears as she thinks of her regrets. Kevin places his hand on her shoulder "don't worry a-aunt Liane....I'm sure he will be happy to see you and hear you're staying. I'm just happy we both get to see him again." The redhead gives a big smile.

The doctor from before approaches. "Mr. Vincent is awake and ready for visitors." The elegant woman taps Kevin on the shoulder "you go first, I'll join later." And with that she walks towards the elevators. The ginger follows the doctor and is lead to Eddward's room. "He's still a little out of it." The doctor says and walks away. Kevin approaches the bed where his lover is laying. "E-Eddward...." The timid boy says and tears fill his eyes finally realizing his boyfriend is alive...he's going to be okay. "Pumpkin." Eddward says with a weak voice and Kevin moves closer to the hospital bed and gently hugs the Raven haired boy. "E-E-Eddward I was so scared they said you were turning cold and not breathing and I was so scared you were going to leave me forever." The ginger cries while pressing his face into his lover's chest. "I'm not going anywhere pumpkin...I'm sorry  I worried you...." The tall boy replies  weakly again and hugs the redhead as tightly as he can while the small boy lets out his tears. This goes on for a while but they are both happy to be in each others arms again. The tall boy smiles as he hold his pumpkin close and his eyes even start to fill with tears. They continue to embrace until there is  a knock at the rooms door. "I'll get it." The ginger says as he stands up and opens the door to see the elegant woman standing there holding a plate of food. "Here Eddward I got this for you. I'm sorry if it isn't very tasty but it's all the cafete-" both Liane and the ginger  can't help but notice the intense beeping of the swimmer's heart monitor. "M-mother..." He says while his breathing quickens along with the beeping of the monitor the swimmer sees flashbacks of his mothers lifeless body as a nurse rushes in. "I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you both to step out for a minute." The nurse says as she rushes to the Raven haired boys side.

Outside the room Liane cries again. "Why does this always happen...I should go and never return.  I always cause Eddward pain because I look so much like my sister...." She's about to walk away but the nurse comes out from the room. "I gave him a mild sedative to calm him down. He is still awake but he might be loopy just be careful. I will return in a little while to check his vitals.." The nurse walks away. "Hey Liane you go in first I think you guys should talk. Besides I'm a little hungry so I'll go to the cafeteria." The redhead says and flashes a smile as he walks away. Liane enters the room quietly and just looks at her nephew as he is laying there. The elegant woman walks to the bed cautiously. The tall boy turns his head to look at the woman before him. The flashbacks appear for a moment but then he realizes the woman before him is not his mother but rather his Aunt, the woman who has raised him since their death. "Aunt Liane..." his voice is laced with exhaustion. She then hugs the tall boy tightly. "I'm so sorry Eddward I should have been around more...I almost lost you...I almost lost the light of their life and mine." She finds a way to hug him even tighter. "Aunt Li, please you're crushing me." The swimmer hugs back though and the woman starts crying while she says "I-I am staying home I don't want to leave you all alone again especially to be selfish and travel without you. Although, I want you to stay in peach creek I will be around more often." She smiles at her nephew. " I-I would like that very much." The swimmer says. He slowly starts fading into sleep.

The ginger knocks on the door and the elegant woman opens it right away. "Hey Kevin I was just about to leave for the night. He is sleeping now but please spend as much time as you'd like. Knowing you're here I know I won't have to worry about him getting lonely." She smiles at the redhead and looks over at her nephew and smiles once more before taking her leave. Kevin pulls up a chair and brings it to his lover's bedside. "Hey Kevin." The half asleep swimmer says looking over at the ginger with  half-lidded eyes. "Y-Y-yes Eddward?" The freckled boy says blushing at the sudden use of his name. "Prom is coming up, would you like to be my date?" Before the redhead can even reply the swimmer's eyes are closed again and he is lightly snoring.

Kevin places his head on his lover's bed and closes his eyes and smiles to himself "yes." He whispers as he joins his lover in a peaceful sleep.
