Eddward left the party and got picked up by Liane and decided to stay with her rather than going back to the room or his house. "Eddward what's going on?" The elegant woman asks with worry in her tone. There is no response. They get to the house and Eddward immediately locks himself into his old bedroom. His head begins to spin the moment he falls onto the bed for the first time in a long time he feels pain. Tears well up in his eyes and he is aware of every agonizing heartbeat that reminds him that this is real. He gets up and runs to the bathroom and pukes, he is unsure whether if it is from the alcohol or the realization that him and Kevin are no more. He returns to the bed and the tears do not stop. He thinks back to everything. The first moment he saw the ginger, the first time he opened up to him, their first study session, their first kiss, their first time, all the times Kevin comforted him even without knowing something was wrong. His pumpkin, the only one in this world who could break down his walls so easily is no longer his. He knows it will be a sleepless night and that realization kills him. He knows that he cannot escape to a dream world where him and his pumpkin are together. Everything happened so suddenly and he knows there is no easy way to fix this even if it was a mistake. The room keeps spinning, the tears keep falling, and his heart keeps breaking.

Back at the university Kevin arrives back to the room and frowns when he sees Eddward's stuff is no longer there. "I should have known he would run away, guilty conscience I guess." He plops onto the twin size mattress but he cannot fall asleep. The image of Eddward kissing another boy is seared into his mind. He feels tears start to fall and before he knows it he find it hard to breathe. He thinks back to everything. The first time he saw Eddward playing in his front lawn, the first time Eddward actually talked to him, their first kiss, their first time, everything. Eddward keeps him calm when all he wants to do is cry even if he doesn't realize it. He has to keep away from him though. He knows it's best, at least for now. He picks up the phone and finds several missed calls from his newly dubbed former lover. He turns off his phone and rolls over as the tears keep falling. He feels his heart break as he realizes this is real and he will not wake up in Eddward's arms tomorrow. Maybe never again.
