Kevin is at his own house and looks at the clock "7:30pm Eddward is late..." The redhead says to himself frowning. "Hey kiddo you look down what's wrong?" The middle-aged man in front of him says frowning himself. "Uh nothing dad!  I just thought someone was coming over tonight..." Kevin then walks away and goes into his room.

Kevin: "hey are you coming tonight?" The ginger sends the text to the swimmer and waits for a reply. After 5 minutes his phone goes off.
Eddward: "Actually...can you come over here?"
Kevin locks his phones and heads across the street and knocks on the tall boys door. It swings open right away as if he was waiting at the door. "Please pumpkin, come in." The Raven haired boy says with a forced looking grin. "O-okay Eddward is everything al-?" The redhead is then cut off
"I think we should break up." Eddward blurts out.
Kevin's emerald eyes fill with tears immediately after processing what Eddward just said. "Wait what why? Is it cause of you getting suspended? I don't understand why?"
"I-I just don't love you." The tall boy says without an ounce of emotion.

Kevin looks up at the tall boy with an angry look in his eyes and slaps him across the face. "Bullshit. That's bullshit. If you're going to break up with me you better tell me the real reason or else I won't consider it."
"Pumpkin this isn't something to negoi-"
"OH IT IS NOT?  HOW IS IT WE HAVE THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR LIVES AND YOU END UP DOING THIS...BUT I KNOW YOU DO LOVE ME EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT SAID IT TO MY FACE. I FEEL YOU HOLD ME CLOSE AT NIGHT, I SAW YOU BLUSH LIGHTLY WHEN I MADE YOU PANCAKES, I SAW YOU SMILE AS YOU PICKED THE BEAR THAT SAID "I LOVE YOU" ON IT, I SAW YOU GET JEALOUS OVER PEOPLE AT THE PARK TALKING TO ME, I ALWAYS FEEL YOUR HEART BEAT A LITTLE FASTER EVEN IF WE JUST HUG, AND I SAW YOU BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO HURT ME EVEN THOUGH YOU KNEW IT WOULD GET YOU IN TROUBLE. SO I DO NOT BELIEVE FOR ONE MOMENT THAT YOU DO NOT LOVE ME." The redhead says not sobbing into his own hands. the tall boy steps closer.
"Fine, I am worried. I am worried about you, I am worried about meeting your dad, I am worried about you learning about my past and my family, I am worried about what people will say or do to you while I'm not around. I don't want you to suffer.... I can't stand to see you suffer because I know what suffering is like and it kills me to think of anything happening to you." The Raven haired boy says choking back tears.
"W-Without you I will suffer. if someone beats me or says anything to me it won't compare to a life without you. you leave, you take my happiness...p-please don't leave, don't be like her...."  Kevin says looking up pleading as tears fall.
Eddward's jaw drops at what the small boy in front of him just said. He pulls the redhead in front of him into a hug. "I- sorry.... I didn't know you were that invested in this relationship....I just felt like I would cut your suffering by leaving your life...I was wrong....." The boys stay in an embrace for a long time. The swimmer breaks apart and looks into his lovers emerald eyes and he tears up realizing he almost gave those up forever. "I love....your eyes." He says awkwardly, blushing. "E-Eddward... I-I don't want you to suffer ever again like you said earlier...so please let me stay by your side..." The redhead says blushing at what he just said. "I will never suffer if I have you. It's late though so may we reschedule the parent meet? Besides I need to find out where my parents currently are to properly meet them." The swimmer says back to his usual calm tone. "Of course!" The ginger is now smiling realizing all the sadness is over. "Next week, promise?"

"Promise."
