It's Thursday night and Kevin is getting ready for school tomorrow and at the same time he is packing his bag to spend the weekend at Eddward's aunt's estate. He is about to finish up the last of his packing and his phone starts ringing, the caller is an unfamiliar number.
"U-Uhm hello?" The timid boy says.
"Hey Kevin! It's Liane sorry to call so late I got your number from Eddward Last week, I hope you don't mind!" Liane says with a cheerful tone.
"Oh! Hi! Is there something wrong?" The redhead says with a slightly concerned tone.
"Oh no! Just the opposite! I just wanted to let you know I got a caterer for Eddward's surprise birthday dinner on Saturday and was wondering if you wanted steak, fish, or chicken!" The elegant woman says with an excited tone since it is Eddward's 18th birthday.
"What...." The freckled boy is so thrown off since he didn't even know it was  Eddward's birthday was this weekend and he realized that his boyfriend never once told him. He then remembers he is on the phone and answers the question. "Oh right! Uhm I will have the chicken please."
"Great thanks so much Kevin! Can you give me Nazz's number? I want to invite her!" Liane asks and the ginger gives her the number and they both hang up. Eddward suddenly walks into the room and the ginger jumps nearly 10 feet in the air wondering if his lover heard anything and if he ruined the surprise Liane was planning. "What's up pumpkin? am I not allowed to walk into my own room without you jumping?" The Raven haired boy says as he steps forward he wraps his long arms around the redheads waist and leans into the small boys ear and whispers. "Come on let's go to bed." The ginger shivers at his boyfriends deep sensual voice He then walks over to Eddward's bed and flops down on it. "What...what am I going to do? I don't even know what to give him...." He then thinks to himself sinks into deep thought and eventually falls asleep still with no idea what to give.

The redhead wakes up even more clueless than he was the night before. He sits up and notices the swimmer is no longer next to him. "That's weird he usually wakes me up..." The ginger wakes up and scratches his head in confusion. He looks over at the clock and it reads 5:30am "ah he must be out running." he goes to look out the window and his heart nearly melts at the sight below him. Eddward is outside having just returned from his morning run and he's reaching out to pet an outdoor cat. Kevin decides he wants to see this up close and personal so he rushes downstairs. He's about to open the door and he hears sneezing. "Damn, guess allergies never go away." The redhead hears the swimmer say with almost a hint of sadness. The doorknob starts to jingle and the freckled boy scrambles to look like he wasn't just trying to spy. "What are you doing up so early pumpkin?" The tall boy says with a grin. "O-oh Uhm nothing! I was just finishing packing for this weekend!" The redhead lies. "You finished last night. Also, your bag is upstairs..." The Raven haired boy says with a suspicious tone. "F-Fine you caught me I was about to start to make you breakfast!" The ginger lies again hoping that this time his boyfriend will believe him. The swimmer is thrown off guard by the redheads cute gesture of making breakfast that a slight blush appears. He tries to regain his cool composure. "Well if you are taking requests I want an omelette." He says and turns away to go take a shower. The redhead starts to make his lover an omelette as he requested. He cuts up some leftover ham from dinner the other night and throws it in with the eggs he whisked. The ginger then adds some cut up tomatoes and a splash of milk along with a pinch of pepper. He smiles as the mixes everything together and as he hears the sizzling as he pours the mixture onto a hot frying pan.

Eddward makes his way downstairs and sees two plates set up and his pumpkin pouring some juice. "E-Eddward! Just in time I just finished." The ginger smiles and the swimmer takes his usual seat across from his lover. the tall boy's phone starts ringing and he answers it right away. "Hello?" The swimmer asks with an annoyed tone. "Oh yes right the party. I'll be there." The swimmer states and hangs up. "P-party?" The ginger asks nervously wondering if someone just gave away the surprise. "Yeah for winning the swim meet. What else would it be for?" The Raven haired boy asks skeptically. "O-oh! Right! For the swim meet! I-I just didn't know that was today." The redhead says nervously trying to hide the real party. "Okay...well it's today after school so I'm sorry I can't walk you home and it's only for members. I will be home before 9 pm though so we can head over to my aunts." The swimmer says while eyeing his pumpkin wondering why he is acting so nervous. "S-sounds good!" The small boy then finishes the last of his omelette and heads up stairs quickly to get ready for school. "This is perfect now I can go shopping after school with Nazz and find him a gift!" The ginger says to himself and smiles. The redhead then goes to get his books off Eddward's desk and he looks at his lover's ant farm. "I wonder if he would want an actual pet..." The freckled boy thinks while he thinks back to earlier when the swimmer was petting the cat outside. "Maybe a hamster? Or a lab rat since he likes science! Or Uhm maybe a cat of his own!" The ginger can't decide so he decides to call someone who might know what he would like a little more, his aunt.

"Hello? Kevin? Is everything okay?" The elegant woman says in a panicked voice. "E-Everything is fine! I was just thinking...of what I should get Eddward. I was thinking maybe a lab rat or maybe a cat. S-so that he's not alone when I can't be here." The redhead states. "Oh...honey. I guess he never told you. He's allergic to animals with fur..." Liane says. "O-oh well I'm glad I asked then..." The ginger says with disappointment in his voice. "I'm sorry sweetie. Well I hope you find something for him I believe in you!" The elegant woman says trying to be optimistic. "Y-yeah! We will see you tonight." They both hang up. "I guess it's back to the drawing board then." The freckled boy says to himself and then Eddward appears in the room again causing the ginger to jump. "Wow pumpkin you are so jumpy lately are you sure everything is okay?" The Raven haired boy says moving closer to his lover. The redhead blushes. "E-everything is fine I just watched a horror movie the other night and it's got me pretty jumpy!" The redhead nervously laughs as he lies yet again today. "Whatever." The swimmer says clearly annoyed about at all the obvious lies he's heard today. The Raven haired boy then grabs his backpack . "I have stuff to set up for the swim party so I'll be going first." The tall boy then walks out and slams the door to let Kevin know just how annoyed he is. "W-why is he so mad?" The ginger thinks. "Well he won't be mad anymore once I find the perfect gift!" The redhead then finishes getting his school bag together and heads out a little after his boyfriend.

He arrives at school and sees Nazz right away. "HEY NAZZ!" The ginger happily waves at the bubbly girl and walks over to her. "Hey kev! Liane called me last night and I'm so down!" The blonde girl says smiling. "Great! Do you think we could go shopping together after school I don't have anything to give Eddward yet." The redhead shamefully admits even though he just found out about his lover's birthday. "Yes of course! I will meet you after school and we can go shopping for the par-" the bubbly girl stops speaking as she sees the swimmer approaching. "Oh please don't stop talking just cause I'm here." The Raven haired boy says still clearly annoyed. "E-Eddward are you done setting up for your swim party?" The redhead says trying to desperately change the subject. "Yes. Now please continue talking about what you were just now. I like to be in the loop too you know." The tall boy says glaring at his pumpkin. "W-well we were talking about going shopping after school cause I need a new sweater." The pumpkin says quickly. "Oh? For what?" The swimmer spats back. "Uh Uhm for dinner with your aunt!" The ginger gets nervous and even starts sweating a little. "ENOUGH WITH THE LIES KEVIN." The swimmer snaps and punches the closest locker and walks away. "W-what just happened." The freckled boy asks himself as tears start to form.
