Tae woke up, his voice still groggy as he mumbled, "Tea, please."

A deep voice responded, cutting through the air. "This isn’t your house, Mr. Kim."

Tae turned toward the sound and froze. There he stood, exuding authority in a sleek black suit. The man adjusted his watch before speaking again, his tone cool and commanding. "If you’re done sleeping, you can head back to your room."

"You look so good, Jeon," Tae said, wiping his mouth. "I can't stop myself from wanting you."

Jungkook turned to face him. "There are two types of people: bold and dumb. And you're the dumb one. Go to your room now."

"I don't have a room here," Tae replied. "You know what, Jeoni... I..."

"I hope you understand what I’m saying," Jungkook said, picking up his phone and walking out of the room.

"Why are you so rude, hubby?" Tae sighed. "Let me call them."

He dialed a number, and Soobin picked up, putting it on speaker.

"He seems calm and quiet... I don't know why," Tae said.

"Maybe he doesn't take you seriously," Rose replied. "Tae, don’t forget your mission. First, find out if he remembers you. If he doesn’t, make him want you."

"I know, guys," Tae said. "But I don’t know what to do now. I tried to make him fall for me, but he called me dumb."

"Dumb? What did you do?"

"I was sleeping, and when I woke up, he was about to leave. He looked so good, so I asked for... you know..." "Sex".

"What?!" Everyone groaned, slapping their foreheads. "And you think this is how you’re going to make him fall for you?" Jimin said, frustrated. "Good thing he didn’t throw you into the sea."

"Tae..." Yeonjun called. "Remember, he's in his 40s. He's more mature than you. Show some maturity."

"I’m mature enough, monkeys," Tae grumbled. "You’re all like my dad. I’m not talking to any of you after this." He hung up, kicking his legs in the air and hugging a pillow.

"That boy doesn't even know the spelling of maturity ," Jimin shook his head.

"Now, hyung, at least consider him like a sibling. I think after this, he might become our enemy," Jungwon said, pouting.

"I think so too," Rose agreed.

"We need to do something," Jimin said.

Jungkook walked to his room with a victorious smile, knowing he had secured the deal just as he had hoped. After ordering dinner, he entered his room and looked at the bed—it was empty. "He's gone..." Jungkook muttered to himself before walking to the next room.

There, by the seashore, he saw a figure standing alone. Jungkook paused and stared, realizing it was Taehyung. A strange feeling washed over him, as if he had seen this moment before. He blinked, trying to make sense of it.

"I pronounce you both husband and wife..." The words echoed in his mind, faint but clear.

"Hyungii..."

Jungkook sank onto the sofa, his mind racing.

"Hyungi..." he whispered.

He closed his eyes and leaned back, the words echoing again, as though from an eternity. "I pronounce you both husband and wife..."

*************

Jungkook canceled his dinner and collapsed onto his bed, staring at the ceiling. His mind was heavy with unanswered questions. Why am I alone? Why isn’t my family here for me? Why don’t they come back to me? He closed his eyes, lost in thought, when a faint scent filled the air. It was subtle, familiar, and strangely comforting.

"Jungkookie!" Taehyung’s voice broke the silence as he jumped into the room.

Jungkook sat up, frustration evident on his face. "Why are you still here?"

"Come on, Mr. Grumpy. We need to stay together—you’re my husband, you know."

"And that’s a lie," Jungkook replied flatly.

Taehyung stepped closer, looking directly into Jungkook's eyes. "Are you sure you’re not married to me?"

"I don’t even know who you are, Taehyung," Jungkook retorted.

"I’m Taehyung—the beautiful, the handsome, the powerful. By the way, did you eat?"

"That’s none of your business."

"It is my business now." Taehyung grabbed the phone and ordered dinner without waiting for a reply. Jungkook didn’t bother stopping him.

A few minutes later, the food arrived. They sat across from each other, eating in silence.

"Taehyung," Jungkook said finally, "your fiance will be furious if she finds out you’re here with me."

"Fiance? Who’s fiancée? I don’t have a fiance. I have a husband," Taehyung replied, holding up his ring.

"Married?" Jungkook frowned. "But—"

"But what?" Taehyung interrupted, just as the doorbell rang.

"I’ll get it," Jungkook said, standing up and walking to the door.

"Hi, Jungkook," a woman’s voice said from the doorway. Taehyung’s eyes widened—he recognized her instantly.

Jungkook and the woman hugged. "I didn’t expect you here," Jungkook said.

"I told you about the medical camp. It ended today, so I thought I’d drop by to see you," she replied.

"Hi, noona! Long time no see," Taehyung said, walking toward her with a smile.

She froze, staring at him like she’d seen a ghost.

"You…" she whispered.

"Yes, it’s me," Jeon Taehyung said, pulling her into a hug.

"Do you know each other?" Jungkook asked, surprised.

"No," she replied quickly, her voice desperate.

"Yes," Taehyung said at the same time. "She’s my cousin. Our parents are distant relatives, but her father raised me."

Jungkook looked between them, confused, before heading back inside.

She turned to Taehyung, her voice trembling. "You’re alive...—"

"Very much alive," Taehyung interrupted with a smirk. "And not just me—our children too. I’m here to take back what’s mine and to get my husband back."

He gave her a sinister smile before walking back inside.

She sank to the floor, her body trembling as the memories of the past ten years came rushing back, haunting her with every detail.
