The sirens blared as the ambulance raced toward the hospital, carrying a lifeless Jungkook on the stretcher. Police officers flanked the vehicle, their faces grim with urgency. As the ambulance screeched to a halt, paramedics wheeled Jungkook inside with brisk efficiency, barking instructions to one another. The emergency room doors slammed shut behind them, leaving Yoongi outside, drenched in fear and helplessness.

Yoongi paced the hallway like a caged animal, fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. His heart felt as if it were being torn apart, every beat reverberating with panic. He wanted to scream, to tear down every wall if it meant saving his child.

"Do whatever it takes!" Yoongi roared at the doctors. "I want my child alive-whatever it costs! Do you understand?" His voice thundered through the hallway, silencing everyone in the vicinity.

"Mr. Jeon," a nurse tried to calm him, "We're doing everything we can-"

"That's not enough!" Yoongi snarled, rage masking the deep vulnerability threatening to consume him. "If he dies, you all die with him."

The doctor gave a small, nervous nod and disappeared back into the ER. Yoongi leaned against the wall, head hanging low, running his hands over his face as if trying to wipe away the crushing weight pressing on him.

A few minutes later, his father and extended family rushed into the hospital. His father, stern and composed, tried to steady him with a hand on his shoulder.

"Yoongi, you need to calm down-"

"No, Father!" Yoongi snapped, eyes wild with despair. "I won't calm down! My son is in there fighting for his life, and no one is leaving this hospital until he's safe."

At that moment, Yoongi's phone buzzed in his pocket. He glanced at the screen, the name on it making his blood run cold. Without a word, he walked a few steps away and took the call.

"Yes?" Yoongi answered in a low, tense voice. The voice on the other end spoke calmly but with deadly precision. Whatever they said turned Yoongi's face pale. His expression darkened as he clenched the phone tighter.

"I understand," he muttered. His voice was emotionless, as if all warmth had bled out of it. "It will be done."

Ending the call, Yoongi immediately turned back toward his family, his mind made up. He wasn't going to wait for things to spiral any further. There was no room for hesitation now.

"Father," Yoongi addressed his father and brother firmly, "I need you to bring your children to the hospital. Right now."

His father blinked, confused by the sudden command. "Yoongi, what is going on? Why-"

"Just do it!" Yoongi snapped. His urgency made everyone freeze. "Get them here now. No arguments."

There was no further explanation. In less than an hour, the entire family was gathered at the hospital, each member carrying a cloud of confusion. Yohan, Yoongi's younger brother, frowned deeply as he approached him.

"Hyung," Yohan began cautiously, "What is this about? Why are you gathering the children? What's happening?"

Yoongi's jaw tightened, and he gave Soobin a hard look. "You don't need to know. Just trust me." His tone was final, brooking no room for discussion.

"But-" Yohan tried again, but Yoongi cut him off.

"No more questions. I need all of you to leave the country immediately."

"What?" Yohan's eyes widened in disbelief. "Leave? Why? What's going on?"

"Do as I say," Yoongi said, voice sharp as steel. "If you want to keep your children safe, get out of here now."

The family exchanged uneasy glances, sensing the gravity of the situation but still not understanding the full picture.

At that moment, Jimin stepped forward, looking at Yoongi with a mixture of hurt and defiance. "I'm not going anywhere, hyung. I'm staying right here. Hyung needs us, and I-"

"You're leaving too, Jimin," Yoongi interrupted coldly, without sparing him a glance. "Pack your things."

"No!" Jimin protested, his voice cracking with emotion. "I won't leave you! Not now-not like this. I promised I'd stay by your side, and I meant it!"

Yoongi's patience snapped. In a blur of motion, his hand lashed out, striking Jimin across the face. The sound of the slap echoed in the hushed corridor, freezing everyone in place. Jimin stumbled back, clutching his cheek, staring at Yoongi in shock and disbelief.

Yoongi's father erupted in disbelief, his voice booming through the private hangar. "What the hell are you doing, Yoongi? Are you out of your mind?"

"Appa..." Jimin whispered, his voice trembling. His eyes glistened with unshed tears, not from the sting of the slap but from the emotional wound it left behind.

Yoongi's face was a mask of cold resolve, though his heart twisted painfully at the sight of his brother's shattered expression. He couldn't afford weakness now-not when everything was at stake. "I'm doing this for your own good, Jimin. Don't make me repeat myself."

"But why-" Jimin tried one last time, his voice small and desperate.

"Because I said so!" Yoongi barked, his voice breaking at the end. "Don't you understand? I can't lose any more of you. Not now. Not ever."

Jimin clenched his fists, wanting to argue, but he could see the torment behind Yoongi's cold demeanor. With a heavy heart, he swallowed his protest, though tears slipped silently down his face.

Yoongi didn't wait for further objections. He turned on his heel and ordered the entire family to follow him. They all piled into black SUVs waiting outside the hospital, the atmosphere thick with tension and confusion.

The convoy sped toward the family's private airport under heavy security. No one spoke during the ride, but the silence was deafening. Jimin sat quietly, staring out the window, his mind racing with questions he would never get answers to.

Once they arrived at the airport, Yoongi oversaw every detail, ensuring the jet was fueled and ready to take off without delay. As the family stood at the foot of the private plane's staircase, Yoongi looked at them one last time.

"You'll be safe overseas," Yoongi said, his voice devoid of emotion. "Stay there until I call you back."

"Hyung, please tell us what's happening,"Yohan pleaded one last time, desperation in his voice.

Yoongi shook his head, eyes dark with unspoken fear. "I can't. Just go. Please."

Jimin, standing at the bottom of the stairs, turned to Yoongi one last time. His gaze was full of anguish. "You promised we'd face everything together, appa..."

"I know," Yoongi whispered, his voice breaking for the briefest of moments. "But not this time, Jimin. Not this time."

With that, Yoongi turned away, unable to watch them leave. He stood motionless as the jet engines roared to life, carrying his family-his entire world-far away from him. Only when the plane disappeared into the night sky did Yoongi allow himself to exhale, the crushing weight of his decision settling on his shoulders.

He pulled out his phone again, dialing a number with shaking fingers.

"It's done," Yoongi said quietly into the phone. "They're gone."

The voice on the other end gave a curt acknowledgment before the line went dead.

Yoongi slipped the phone into his pocket, staring into the darkness surrounding the airport. Alone and vulnerable, he knew this was only the beginning.

Hoseok's voice was low and tentative as he spoke, almost like a whisper lost in the tension. "Taehyung..." he muttered, glancing at Yoongi cautiously. "Jungkook is going to ask about him the moment he opens his eyes."

Yoongi stiffened, his face hardening as he avoided Hoseok's gaze. "That chapter is closed, Hoseok," Yoongi murmured, as if saying it quietly would make the pain less real. "We don't know where he is... and it doesn't matter anymore."

Hoseok's brow furrowed, disbelief clear in his expression. "But he was just a kid, Yoongi. An innocent, poor boy... What if-"

"Please," Yoongi cut him off, his voice raw, desperate. He ran a hand through his hair and exhaled shakily. "I can't talk about this now. My child-Jungkook-he's my priority." His eyes burned with an intensity that made Hoseok's words falter. "Let's see the doctor."

The doctor stood in front of them, taking a deep breath before delivering the news. "Jungkook slipped into a coma."

Yoongi's knees nearly buckled, but Hoseok caught his arm. The weight of the words hung heavily between them. Yoongi gripped Hoseok's hand tightly, his knuckles turning white.

"Is it... serious?" Hoseok asked, dreading the answer.

The doctor nodded grimly. "Externally, the injuries aren't severe, but there's significant internal bleeding, especially in his brain. We're keeping him alive with the help of the life support system."

Yoongi swallowed hard, his throat dry. He could feel the walls closing in, suffocating him with fear.

"There was one brief moment when he regained consciousness," the doctor continued, glancing between Hoseok and Yoongi. "But it was only for a second. He tried to say something... a name, maybe. It sounded like 'Tae' or something similar."

Hoseok's eyes locked with Yoongi's, both filled with silent questions and shared memories. The name hung in the air like a haunting reminder of a past they had buried.

"After that," the doctor went on, "he slipped into a deeper coma. He's in a medically induced state now to manage the swelling in his brain. But..." The doctor hesitated, reluctant to say the next part.

"But what?" Yoongi demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

"If he doesn't respond soon... there may be nothing more we can do."

"No," Yoongi growled, his voice sharp and full of menace. His entire body trembled with rage and fear. "That is not an option. I want my child alive-whatever it takes."

The doctor gulped, unnerved by the chilling determination in Yoongi's gaze. "We'll do everything we can."
