The morning sun bathed the grand Jeon estate in a soft, golden light, promising a day filled with joy and celebration. Outside, a large garden had been transformed into a magical wonderland for Jungkook and Taehyung's engagement party. Everywhere one looked, white roses and cherry blossoms adorned the venue, their sweet scent mingling with the soft autumn breeze. Delicate string lights twinkled overhead, casting a warm glow, even in daylight, while elegantly draped tables displayed elaborate floral centerpieces.
Taehyung stood in the middle of the preparations, gazing in awe at the beauty around him. "This feels like a dream," he whispered to himself, his eyes wide as he took it all in. He was dressed in a traditional cream hanbok with intricate gold detailing, the fabric flowing softly around him, enhancing his ethereal beauty.
Jungkook, in a tailored navy-blue suit, walked up to him with a warm smile, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of Taehyung. "You're the most beautiful thing here," he whispered in Taehyung’s ear, causing the younger boy to blush, his cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.
As the guests began to arrive, the garden filled with excited chatter. Friends, family, and business associates of the Jeon family made their way to their seats, admiring the decorations and whispering about the grandeur of the event. A large stage had been set up at the front, draped in silks, where the engagement ceremony would take place. In front of it, a grand chandelier sparkled under the daylight, adding to the elegance of the moment.
Mr. Jeon, a tall man with graying hair and an air of authority, stood at the entrance, welcoming the guests with his wife by his side. They greeted everyone with smiles, but their eyes held a particular warmth whenever they glanced at their son, Jungkook, and his soon-to-be fiancé, Taehyung.
Yoongi and Hoseok stood together near the center of the garden, talking quietly among themselves. Their siblings are also there too. The cousins gang was busy with photo section food and sighting boys and girlsetc.under the leadership of Jimin.
Finally, when everyone had gathered, Mr. Jeon took to the stage, the crowd falling silent in anticipation. He tapped the microphone and smiled at the audience.
“Good afternoon, everyone,” he began, his voice booming across the garden. “Today is a very special day for the Jeon family.
He paused, looking around at the guests, some of whom were already leaning forward in curiosity.
“I’m proud to announce that Jungkook, my elder grandchild, will be taking over Jeon Corporation as its next CEO after Yoongi. He’s worked hard, and I know he will continue the legacy we’ve built. Please, everyone, join me in congratulating Jungkook.” Yoongi closely observe everyone for watching there reaction. Then he looks proudly at his son.
The applause was thunderous. Jungkook stood, slightly flushed, and waved modestly at the crowd. Beside him, Taehyung clapped, his smile brighter than ever.
"Thank you, everyone," Jungkook said, stepping forward. "It’s an honor to take this responsibility, and I promise to give my all for the future of Jeon Corporation." His eyes flicked toward Taehyung. "But today, the most important moment for me isn’t just about business."
The crowd murmured in excitement, sensing what was coming next. Yoongi then took the microphone from Mr. Jeon and smiled at his son.
"Today isn’t just about work or the company," Yoongi said, his deep voice cutting through the quiet. "It’s about love, commitment, and family. So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce you all to Taehyung, who will soon be my son-in-law."
Yoongi gestured toward Taehyung, who stepped forward, his head slightly bowed in shyness. When he looked up, the crowd gasped. His beauty was captivating—his soft features, radiant smile, and the way his hanbok shimmered in the light made him look almost otherworldly.
"Isn’t he beautiful?" Jungkook said proudly, taking Taehyung’s hand in his. The guests nodded in agreement, whispers of admiration spreading through the crowd.
As they stood on the stage, Jungkook turned to Taehyung and gently slipped a ring onto his finger. "From this day forward, you’re mine," Jungkook whispered, his voice thick with emotion. Taehyung blinked away tears, smiling up at him.
The audience erupted into cheers, the sound filling the garden as Jungkook pulled Taehyung into a warm embrace. Fireworks suddenly burst into the sky, despite it being daytime, filling the air with shimmering colors. The sound of applause and laughter mixed with the crackle of the fireworks, creating a moment that felt like a scene from a dream.
As the festivities continued, everyone moved to the banquet area, where long tables were set with golden plates and crystal glasses. Elegant chandeliers hung overhead, and the waitstaff moved gracefully between the guests, serving champagne and an array of gourmet dishes.
Taehyung, still slightly overwhelmed by the attention, stayed close to Jungkook’s side. "Jeoni," he called looking up at him.
"Just some moments baby" Jungkook replied, squeezing his hand gently. "You deserve the world, Taetae. And I’ll give it to you."
Jimin, Soobin, Lisa, Rose, Haneol, and Yeonjun surrounded Tae and Jungkook, phones ready, snapping endless photos at ridiculous angles. "You two look like a K-drama couple!" Lisa teased, zooming in on Tae’s blushing face. "Hyung, Jungkook’s too hot for you!" Yeonjun joked, making everyone laugh. "Tae, stop blushing or my camera might melt!" Jimin added dramatically, while Soobin threw in, "Quick, someone get a fan for our blushing groom!" The cousins’ playful teasing only made Tae turn redder, burying his face in Jungkook's shoulder as they all laughed hysterically.

The party finally ended after midnight. The guests left, and the Jeon family retreated to their rooms. Taehyung, who had fallen asleep with Hoseok, was gently scooped up by Jungkook and carried back to his own room.
As Jungkook laid him down softly on the bed, Taehyung stirred awake, blinking sleepily. He glanced up at Jungkook, his lips forming a pout. "What?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
Jungkook smiled, crouching down to be at eye level with him. "Nothing... wifey," he teased, his voice low and affectionate.
Taehyung’s pout deepened, his cheeks tinged with a faint blush. "I’m not your wifey..." he muttered, crossing his arms defensively.
Jungkook chuckled, leaning closer to kiss Taehyung’s forehead. "Oh? Then what about hubby?" he whispered, his warm breath brushing Taehyung’s skin.
"Jeoni..." Taehyung whispered, his voice soft and full of affection.
"Hmm?" Jungkook responded, brushing a strand of hair away from Taehyung’s face.
"Jeoni..." Taehyung repeated, his gaze dreamy as he settled deeper into the pillow.
Jungkook smiled, his heart melting at the sight. "What is it, Taetae?"
Taehyung’s eyes fluttered open again, his voice barely above a whisper. "When are we getting married?"
"Next month, the first week," Jungkook replied gently, watching as a sleepy smile crept onto Taehyung’s lips.
"Jimin hyung said something to me today..." Taehyung murmured, his voice trailing off.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "What did he say?"
Taehyung giggled softly, still half-asleep. "He said... he needs a minion army. So I need to give him at least seven children. Is that possible?" His innocent eyes blinked up at Jungkook, completely oblivious to the weight of his words.
Jungkook stared at him in shock, trying to process what Taehyung had just said. "Jiminy..." he muttered under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief.
But his amusement quickly faded as he thought about the reality of Taehyung’s words. His mind flashed back to a conversation they had long ago—a painful reminder of the cruel words Taehyung had been told by others. "He can’t give you children..." Those harsh words echoed in Jungkook’s mind, causing his heart to ache.
He sighed softly, pulling Taehyung into a tight embrace. "Tae... I don’t care about that. I love you, and I want you—just you. I’m not thinking about anything else. You’re my everything," he whispered into Taehyung’s hair, his voice thick with emotion.
Taehyung’s arms wrapped around Jungkook’s waist, his head resting against Jungkook’s chest. He nuzzled closer, feeling the steady rhythm of Jungkook’s heartbeat. "I love you, Jeoni," he whispered sleepily.
Jungkook pressed another soft kiss to Taehyung’s forehead. "I love you too, my baby. Now, get some sleep," he whispered, holding Taehyung even tighter as they both drifted off into a peaceful slumber, wrapped in each other’s warmth.

The next morning, the Jeon household was filled with bittersweet goodbyes. Yoongi's family packed their bags, preparing to leave, while Mr. and Mrs. Jeon, along with Yoongi’s siblings, got ready to return to their own homes. Jimin looked especially downcast, watching his favorite cousins go. Taehyung, too, felt the weight of the departures. Once the house emptied, silence settled like a heavy blanket.
Jimin and Taehyung exchanged glances, their expressions mirroring each other's sadness. "Let’s do something fun today, Jungkook hyung," Jimin suggested, nudging Jungkook. "We need to shake off this gloom!"
Taehyung nodded, his eyes pleading. "Please, Jeoni? Let’s go out for a bit."
Jungkook sighed, though the soft smiles of his loved ones tugged at his heart. "Alright, we’ll go out. But only after I come back from the company. Is that okay?"
Both Jimin and Taehyung beamed, nodding eagerly.
As the afternoon passed, Jungkook and Yoongi left for the company, while Hoseok, his son, and son-in-law remained behind, busy with wedding preparations. There was only one month left until the big day, and everyone was caught up in the rush of planning.
The house was quiet when, later that evening, Taehyung received a call. He glanced at the screen, smiling when he saw Jungkook’s name. "Baby?" came Jungkook's voice, gentle but holding an unusual edge.
Taehyung leaned back into the couch, his smile deepening. "Tell me, Jeoni."
There was a pause on the other end, and then Jungkook’s voice, softer now, whispered, "Do you love me?"
The question was unexpected, but Taehyung answered without hesitation, his voice filled with warmth. "Yes, Jeoni. Of course I love you."
Another pause. Longer this time. And then, the words that would shatter Taehyung’s world. "I’m sorry, Taehyung… I can’t marry you."
The words hung in the air like a cruel echo. Taehyung sat up, his heart skipping a beat as confusion clouded his mind. "Jeoni…?" he whispered, hoping he had misheard.
"I’m sorry, Taehyung," Jungkook repeated, his voice cracking. "I can’t marry you."
The phone nearly slipped from Taehyung’s hands. His heart felt like it was crumbling, piece by piece. He tried to steady his breath, but the pain in his chest made it hard to breathe. "It’s… it’s okay, Jeoni…" he whispered, though his voice betrayed the ache he was trying to hide.
"Please understand. I’m so, so sorry," Jungkook said again, his voice heavy with guilt.
Taehyung clenched his fist, fighting back the tears that were threatening to spill. He swallowed the lump in his throat, his voice barely audible as he whispered, "I love you, Jeoni… but if you can’t marry me… I’ll understand."
There was silence on the other end, and Taehyung felt the weight of Jungkook’s absence like never before. His heart, once filled with hope and dreams of their future, now felt hollow, as if the love they had shared had vanished in an instant.
"I’m sorry…" Jungkook’s voice came again, barely a whisper, as if the words were too heavy to bear.
Taehyung closed his eyes, allowing a single tear to slip down his cheek. "Goodbye, Jeoni," he whispered, his heart breaking into pieces as he ended the call.
