Hyung, show me the ring you picked," Jimin said, glancing at his elder brother.

Jungkook smiled, holding up the ring. "It's nice... but I think we can do better." He moved towards another display of rings, eyes glinting with excitement. They were picking out a ring for Taehyung, and Jimin studied the one Jungkook had selected. It was stunning—simple yet elegant. He signaled the salesman. "This one, please. Could you pack it for us?"

But Jungkook wasn’t done. His gaze fell on a more expensive diamond ring, and he grinned, holding it up to Jimin. "What about this one? I think it’s perfect."

Jimin chuckled, shaking his head. "Hyung, it’s a beautiful ring, but you know Tae. He’d be happier with a box of chocolates than that." He teased, nudging Jungkook.

Jungkook let out a soft laugh. "You might be right."

When they finally returned home, their cousins rushed out to greet them, eyes wide with curiosity. "Did you get it?" Soobin asked, practically bouncing with excitement.

Jungkook handed over the bag, and as the box was opened, everyone gasped. "Wow, it’s gorgeous," Soobin breathed. "And it looks expensive..."

"Is that a natural diamond?" another cousin chirped.

While the others admired the ring, The owner of the ring's eyes were fixed on a different bag Jungkook was holding. "What’s in there?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

Jungkook chuckled, holding out the other packet—a box of chocolates. But before Taehyung could grab it, Lisa snatched it up and dashed away with a playful laugh.

"No!" Taehyung shouted, chasing after her, while the rest joined in the chaotic chase. Laughter filled the house as they ran around, leaving Jungkook smiling softly as he watched them.

With a quiet chuckle, Jungkook headed to his room, letting the joyful chaos unfold behind him.

***********

Taehyung sat on Jungkook's bed with a pout, crossing his arms like a child denied his favorite treat. "I only got two chocolates," he complained, his lips forming an adorable frown.

Jungkook couldn’t help but smile at the sight. He stepped closer, still feeling the coolness from his recent shower clinging to his skin. “I promise I’ll buy you more chocolates next time,” he said softly, his voice carrying a warmth that made Taehyung’s eyes light up instantly.

"Really?" Taehyung asked, his frown quickly transforming into a beaming smile. Without hesitation, he threw his arms around Jungkook, hugging him tightly. The sudden closeness made Jungkook’s heart race. His cold skin quickly turned hot under Taehyung’s touch, the warmth of Taehyung's body sinking into his own. His breath hitched as he felt the soft press of Taehyung’s cheek against his damp skin.

Unable to resist, Jungkook leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Taehyung’s cheek, his lips lingering for a moment. "Why are you so sweet?" Jungkook murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he looked into Taehyung’s eyes.

Taehyung giggled softly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Because I eat chocolates," he replied, grinning wide.

Jungkook chuckled at the playful response, but his gaze shifted to Taehyung’s lips, noticing a small chocolate smudge. Without thinking, he reached out and wiped it away with his thumb, his touch lingering on Taehyung’s lips for a second longer than necessary. His heart fluttered, and before he could stop himself, Jungkook softly whispered, "Love you..." as he brought his thumb to his lips and licked the chocolate away.

Taehyung’s face turned a soft shade of pink, his usual playful demeanor suddenly replaced with shyness. He averted his eyes, cheeks burning. “When are we getting married?” he asked quietly, his voice barely a whisper as he played with the edge of Jungkook’s sleeve.

Jungkook smiled, pulling Taehyung closer into his embrace. “Soon... Next Sunday, we’ll get engaged. And then, in one month, you’ll be mine forever,” he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of tenderness and promise.

Taehyung’s arms tightened around Jungkook, his face now buried in the crook of Jungkook’s neck. “Hyungie…” he mumbled against his skin. “I don’t like Haneol.”

Jungkook frowned slightly, pulling back just enough to look into Taehyung’s eyes. “Why not? He’s just a child, Taetae... Did he do something to upset you?” Jungkook’s voice was laced with concern as he thought about their younger cousin, Haneol. But Tae was talking about Jin's son.

But Taehyung shook his head, his gaze downcast.

Jungkook let out a soft sigh,  running a hand through Taehyung’s hair to soothe him. “Ah, I see.  Taetae, he’s still the youngest. He might be a bit much sometimes,  he’s just a kid. If he’s bothering you, I’ll talk to him, okay?” His voice was gentle, reassuring.

Taehyung nodded slowly, resting his head against Jungkook’s chest. “Okay…”

Jungkook smiled softly, pressing another kiss to Taehyung’s forehead. “My big baby,” he whispered, stroking Taehyung’s hair as his heart swelled with affection.

As Taehyung nestled closer into Jungkook’s arms, the two sat in peaceful silence, wrapped in each other’s warmth. The room was quiet, but the unspoken love between them filled the space, more profound than any words could express.

************

"I thought you would be staying there for a few days," Namjoon said to Jin, his brow furrowing in surprise. "You haven’t seen them in years—your best friend, and then there’s Hobi. How are Jungkook and Jimin?"

Jin's gaze dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "Jungkook is getting married."

Namjoon blinked, processing the news. "Oh... Well, he’s 30 now, isn’t he? It’s about time."

Jin nodded slowly, his expression somber. "Yeah... but the boy he’s marrying is only 18. The same age as our son."

Namjoon looked startled. "Eighteen? What’s his name?"

"Taehyung," Jin replied quietly. "He’s an orphan."

Namjoon’s eyes softened as memories surfaced. "Do you remember when Jungkook was little? He used to always beg us to give him our child—even before you got pregnant. I thought for sure he’d end up with Haneol."

"No!" Jin suddenly exclaimed, his voice sharp. His eyes widened, as if he’d seen a ghost.

Namjoon immediately reached for his hand, concern evident on his face. "Are you okay? Jin, what’s wrong?"

Jin’s breathing grew uneven, and he clutched Namjoon’s hand. "Let’s go back to London, Joonie. Take Haneol with us. Please, as soon as possible."

Namjoon frowned, his confusion deepening. "Why? What’s going on?"

"Please..." Jin’s voice cracked. "We need to go back." "You are still treating Haneol like a stranger,  Jooni.

something feels off, like something’s missing." He gazed up at the ceiling, lost in thought. "I can’t shake the feeling..."

Jin looked away, biting his lip as tears welled in his eyes. His voice dropped to a whisper, filled with a painful mix of hope and fear. "If your fatherly instincts are right, Joonie... you’ll find Taehyung."

Namjoon glanced at him sharply, but Jin pressed on, his voice trembling. "I want you to find your son, Joonie... And when you do, you’ll know everything. You’ll hate me, you’ll hate Yoongi, you’ll hate everyone... but your son, he will finally have his father."

Jin buried his face in Namjoon’s chest, his tears spilling over. "He’ll know about his poor mother... And when the truth comes out, everything will change," he whispered, his voice breaking with the weight of secrets too heavy to bear.

Namjoon sat in stunned silence, his arms instinctively wrapping around Jin, though his mind raced with unanswered questions. The quiet between them was filled with tension, the gravity of Jin’s words sinking deep into his soul.
