Chapter 12
Chapter 12:
Lincoln Xavier:
I bit into her lip causing her to moan in satisfaction.
The girls hand ran through my dishevelled hair as she rubbed circles on my scalp.
Her left arm wrapped around my muscular body and I held her close to me, smelling her bubblegum scent from her perfume.
So she was a perfume girl, sexy.
I unwrapped my hand from her body and inched it up her slim body, lingering it on her ribs that poked out slightly.
I almost flinched away from her, but flicked it off and deepened the kiss, allowing her tongue entrance.
I felt her tongue intertwine with mine and the bliss that came from it was nowhere near of those kisses that came from Lydia.
Hers, I just couldn't describe the feeling of them, they just made me feel unbelievably happy and warm and fuzzy on the inside.
she was the type of girl that could have any guy falling at her feet with the way she looked, always smiled, wasn't afraid to say what she thought and just the way she carried herself was showing confidence.
Every day I find myself thinking, was that demeanour false?
Was her love for me even real?
The girl that was wrapped in my arms stopped kissing me and stared at my eyes.
"Why'd you stop, babe?" I asked the girl whose name I had no clue of.
I don't usually forget girls names but I don't recall her ever telling me her name, or was it when I was busy daydreaming earlier?
"Why'd I stop, why'd you stop giving me tongue action. Are my kisses not good enough for you!"She shrieked, her face growing red in anger and her pupils widened only leaving a small outline of the grey her eyes once were.
Thinking of an excuse to tell her I opened my mouth and lied, "I stopped because I felt like I couldn't last any longer. we've been kissing for a while you know."
"oh, alright. Sorry for blowing up at you."
"It's okay." I responded, my mouth twitching into a half smile.
In the background I could hear laughter and the trees blowing swiftly in the wind.
I turned around and stared at the scenery.
Multiple sets of trees alongside each other and were standing tall, the branches moving from left to right.
Little kids ran into the water, causing splashing noises to be heard from all around the place.
Some people lay on the sand using beach towels and gazed at their kids playing happily with their friends.
I wish life was that simple now.
I wish that I could turn back the time and retrace what happened between Lydia and I.
If I had maybe seen the clues I could've saved her and been standing here kissing her instead of this random chick, who although was beautiful, was nothing on my Lydia, my Lydia who was no longer living in the world.
I dreamt of her often, the main cause of my nightmares and all my wonderful dreams.
snapping out of my daze I felt the chicks warm lips press onto mine and I responded immediately by moving my lips in sync with hers.
I felt a bit of her spit enter my mouth and I resisted my urge to pull back and start wiping my mouth over.
We were technically sharing spit right now but I didn't want to actually collect her spit on my lips.
"Mummy, mummy, look at them they're kissing like you and daddy did." The little boy looked at us, his head tilting to the side.
His mum came up next to him and smiled, her blue eyes shining in the sunlight.
The sunlight also glowed onto her pale skin and her straight, blonde hair.
"Yeah that's exactly what daddy and I do." The women replied with a smile on her square face.
The girl and I pulled apart and stared at the pair.
"Are you to in a relationship?"The little boy asked us, a piece of his chocolate brown waves falling into his brown eyes.
"No were not, but were kissing because we like each other." I politely told the boy, not having the heart to tell the little boy that I had no feelings for her whatsoever, even if she had some for me, in which I'm sure she did.
Everybody did.
The girl beside me smiled, her cheeks going pink.
"I'm Lucy, what your name?' The girl; Lucy asked the little boy who was standing there jumping up and down excitedly while his mum stood there, her head shaking side to side.
The little boy replied with happiness.
"I'm Dave."
Dave's mum pulled opened her voice to say something but I cut her off.
"Dave, I like it."
"Thank you, sir." He responded, putting his arm up to his tanned forehead and saluted me.
I laughed and thought of Jordan who would often give me the salute.
Was it some kind of new trend for little kids at around the age of seven to salute people?
"You don't have to call me Sir you know. My names Lincoln." I told the boy and his mother finally spoke.
"Now Dave stop causing these children so much fuss, we need to go." She said tugging at his wrist.
'No, No its fine Madame, he's adorable. I have a little brother the same age as him. His name is Percy." Lucy responded to the women.
Who knew that I was actually hooking up with a nice girl for once.
I thought she was another popular, wannabe girl, oops.
I hoped that wasn't her first kiss too.
The only first kiss I vowed to take was Lydia's and not once have I broken that vow.
I guess I'd have to ask her later, if so I was so dead.
I was never aiming to hurt nice girls, they reminded me too much like Lydia.
That's who Lydia was, the nice girl who everyone loved even though she wasn't one to hide her opinion on somebody, actually thinking back on it she had told me she hated my kisses for the first three times we kissed because not only did I give her, her first kiss, but she gave me mine.
"My names June and that's lovely maybe Percy can come and play with Dave one day. How old is he?"
Lucy smiled and pushed a strand of her black hair behind her ear where a pretty white pearl earring was.
She rubbed her lips together and ruffled the little boys hair with her mid-sized hand.
From behind where the four of us stood I heard a muffled scream and jumped, looking around the place for the source of it.
The rest of the people standing with me turned around too, twisting their heads around frantically.
"What the hell was that?" I asked everyone rather loudly.
I saw everyone on the beach stop what they were doing and look around the place for the person who screamed but the scream wasn't loud enough to be from here.
Where on earth could it have come from?
that's when I spotted a fourteen year old girl who was standing behind a tree, poking her head out from behind it, where you could see the long scratch that ran down her hollow cheek.
I licked my lips to get the moisture back and made my way over to the tree and looked behind to find a wild, black cat coming from a few metres behind her.
She screamed again and I ran for the black cat that she had been running from that was the size of a normal cat.
I'd say it was a pet cat gone wild.
My legs pushed forward in a hurry and I stretched my arms, touching the cats dirty coat.
My hands wrapped themselves around its skinny belly and I picked it up, its legs scratching the air.
"Err were you running away from this cat?"I asked the girl who had dirty, blonde hair covering the right side of her face only leaving the side where you could see the fresh cut.
"Yeah I was randomly wandering in the bush when this stray cat starts chasing me and I cut my face on a tree branch."
"Well looks like ill be taking this evil thing to the pound or something."
"I guess so, and thanks for saving me." The girl responded.
"No problem." I said feeling the cat wriggle in my arms.
I groaned and turned to face the beach area where I could hear Lucy calling my name, obviously wondering where I went.
If that were Lydia shed have ran after me as soon as I ran off.
She would never allow me to do anything by myself even if all it was, was rescuing a girl from a cat that was perfectly harmless unless you count the fact that if it scratched me it might get infected due to its dirty claws.
"Lucy I'm over here!" I yelled with the struggling cat still in my arms.
I needed her to grab the cat for me while I rung somebody about this cat,
I couldn't hold it in my arms forever and I was craving some more hook ups from chicks.
I barely got any this afternoon because of the little boy and the cat, but I wasn't going to get angry about it, it's not vital in my life, just a way to take the stupid pain away even if I still thought of her every second of the day, even while kissing other chicks.
Sometimes I seriously wondered why I was still acting like a player, but then I remembered the reason and continued to hurt countless of girls.
Lucy ran over to me, but stumbled when she saw the wriggling cat with its bright yellow eyes that would glow even brighter once darkness hit.
"Can you hold it, Lucy?"I asked her while holding the cat out and it hissed loudly causing me to roll my eyes.
Stupid cats.
I hated the things anyway.
(Authors note- sorry about the hating cats thing at the end. im not trying to be mean to the cat lovers out there. I like cats myself.)
