It's been two months already..

Ragini looked at the small box in her hand. She opens it to find the watch that she has bought for laksh with her first month salary. Laksh is taking care of almost all her needs from fees to shopping that she doesn't have to spend her money for anything. So she decides to buy a gift for him and bought the watch. However she didn't have the courage to give it last month, as apart from anything needed they are still strangers for each other. Though she started loving Laksh, she couldn't confess it to him as she's not sure about how he feels about her. At the same time she's worried to get rejected and she can't handle another rejection. Infact what she has for Laksh is something she never experienced with Sanskar nor will she ever experience with anybody else in the future too. Her heart and mind is already surrendered to him completely.

Ragini looks at the envelope which holds the second month salary that she received yesterday. She decides to somehow give the watch and money to Laksh as a token of gratitude. She also hopes that it paves some way that they can atleast start a friendship for now. She caressed them and waits for Laksh to return to his room. He's cleaning the vessels. It has become their routine to share works. Yesterday it was her turn and today its his.

Laksh came all exhausted to the room but leaves straight to washroom. Ragini waits impatiently for him and finally he comes out. She with a smiling face stands in front of him surprising him. Laksh looks confused at her while she stretches the envelope and gift in front of him.

Lak : What's this?

Rag : wo laksh.. You are taking care of all my needs and i felt to give you a gift as a token of gratitude. I got it last month but didn't have the courage to give it to you. And this is my second month salary. You can buy whatever you wish to with it.

Ragini Said all proud and happy as she's finally finding herself with the help of Laksh.

Lak : what's this Ragini? Why are you wasting your money? What is the need for the thank you gift? I already said right? It's my duty to take care of you and I'm doing only that. I'm not expecting anything back. By the way after we get divorced what will you do? Don't you want to save some money for yourself so that you can live on your own? When will you learn all this? I thought you got mature seeing your hardwork but still you need to learn a lot. Anyways you bought it so I'm accepting the gift . Deposit the money in your account. Next time don't waste your money like this.

Saying so he takes only the gift and keeps the envelope back in her hand while Ragini gets heartbroken. She finds him carelessly placing the gift in his cupboard without even caring to open it and leaves for bed. She finds him lying down on his side.

Lak : Are you not going to sleep?

Rag (with difficulty) : i... I will.. Sleep afterwards.. I.. Have to. Stt. Study

Ragini said controlling her sobs as much as possible. Laksh nods and goes to sleep. Ragini covers her mouth with hand and runs to study room. She locks it from inside and falls down bursting into tears. She didn't expect him to treat her as wife but she was starting to hope that he was treating her as her friend. However she realizes that he's only seeing her as his responsibility and nothing more. Her heart pains everytime she thinks that she means nothing to him. She curses him for showing so much care on her giving her hopes for future. She recalls all the times he showed his care for her. Everytime he made it precise that she's his responsibility. It's her who failed to notice the part. She understands its not his fault but hers. She blames herself for hoping for much. She realizes that he still loves swara and once she's back even she'll accept him. Sanskar didn't love swara so obviously swara is going to be Laksh's wife. The thought itself made her shiver. She didn't felt anything even close to this pain when swasan marriage was decided. She wonders what's her fault that no one is liking her. She even starts doubting whether she lacks something.

With various questions in mind she kept crying the whole night in study room. She falls asleep in the same position.

Laksh wakes up to find the room empty. He felt weird as it never happened before. No matter how long she studies Ragini makes sure to come back to sleep. He gets worried and goes to check on her. He finds the study room locked and feels strange. He knocks the door calling for Ragini.

Ragini wakes up at the sound of the knock and hears Laksh's voice calling for her. She recalls last night events. Tears starts making its way once again but Ragini immediately wipes it off. She doesn't want to make anyone aware of her feelings as she feels insulted to keep failing in love. She decides to stay away from Laksh to keep her feelings in control. She's sure she can never forget him as she feels she belongs to only him. She can never ever imagine anybody else anymore. However she doesn't want to fall weak too. She's going to love him without his knowledge and being far away from him. With a determined mind she wipes her tears. She checks at herself once and opens the door.

Lak : Ragini what happened? Why did you sleep here.

His voice is filled with worry as how much ever she hides he can find her in pain.

Lak : Are you not well Ragini? Who asked you to study whole night? Health comes first. (keeps a hand on her forehead) oh god. You are burning. You take off today and get ready. We will go to doctor.

Ragini throws a sad smile unknown to him.

Rag (in mind) : why laksh? Why you are making it difficult for me? Why do you show me this much care and breaks it next moment calling it responsibility? Am I not attractive? What do i lack that you don't see me as a woman?

She felt her head spinning with all the questions surrounding it. She's about to fall back fainting when Laksh immediately holds her on time. He shouts patting her name but her eye lids are too heavy that she couldn't open them. He lifts her up in bridal style and takes her to their room. He calls for his mother and ap came rushing to him. He says what happened and keeps her on bed. He asks her to take care and leaves to call doctor.

After sometime :

Doctor is checking Ragini while the whole family stands surrounding her.

Doc : She seems to be in lots of stress and that's why she got fever. I'll prescribe some medicines. Let her take rest for few days. She can continue her works after she gets cured.

Laksh nods and leaves to send off doctor. The family looks worried. They were happy that RagLak are working on their relationship but now they starts getting doubtful whether they misjudged something. Laksh comes back. Ap asks him to take care of Ragini while she will send some healthy fruits for her.

Lak (hesitating) : But..

Ap : i know about your resolution. But it's not the time for it. Just let us take care of her and you, till she recovers. You can't risk Ragini's health for your stubbornness.

Laksh gets afraid hearing the last line. He don't want her to get troubled because of him and nods agreeing.

Ap signals others and they all go out while Laksh calls his office to ask for a day off.

Ap : what happened to Ragini? She was good till last night. What happened overnight.

Uttara : Badi Maa i heard some crying sound at midnight in study while going to fetch water. I think it's Ragini Babhi's.

Dp : we thought everything was going good but it doesn't. I think that useless idiot scolded Ragini.

Ap : no laksh himself is clueless about Ragini's condition else he wouldn't behave like this. Instead he would've felt guilty. There's something else but who can find it out.

Suj : But jiji We need to first inform Shekhar and Sumi about Ragini's health. They are already upset that they couldn't speak with Ragini.

Dp : You are right. Ram call Shekhar and inform about her condition. He deserves to know..

Rp nods and leaves to call Shekhar.

Ap : Uttara you go and stay with Ragini. When Laksh is not around try asking her what happened. I'm sure she will feel more comfortable to speak with you than elders.

Uttara agrees and leaves. On the other hand Shekhar and Sumi gets extremely worried about Ragini. They want to see her immediately but recalls their plan and decides to keep quite. They blame themselves for not handling things right. They feel that they are responsible for both their daughter's suffering. First they gave birth to swara who was taunted for being illegitimate. On the other hand they failed giving attention to Ragini because of which she's in this condition. They feel heavy at the thought that their daughters are bearing the brunt of their mistakes.

On the other hand Uttara goes to Ragini room and takes care of her. Laksh leaves as his company denied giving him off and just gave him two hours permission. He asks Uttara to take care of Ragini. He asks her to call him once she gains consciousness. He leaves but is still worried about her health.

Ragini wakes up tired while Uttara holds her asking her to rest. She said what happened after her fainting . She says that Laksh has already informed her management department as well as music academy about her condition. They already granted her leave for four days. Ragini nods without saying anything.

Uttara : What happened Bhabhi? Why did you get unwell all of a sudden? You were good till last night.

Rag : woh Uttara.. May be its because of stress. You know its difficult to handle both studies and work and that's why I got exhausted. Nothing more.

Ragini tries covering up to convince her but her next line shocked her.

Uttara : So you will cry due to stress Bhabhi? Strange. I never saw anyone crying like maniac for stress.

Ragini realizes that she's caught..

Rag : How.. How do you know?

Uttara : i heard your cries when I came to fetch water from kitchen. What happened Bhabhi? Please share it with me. You can trust me. I like you a lot. I would never judge you. We can share things with each other which we can't share it with elders or parents.

Uttara convinces Ragini to believe her. Ragini realized that she too needs someone to share her pain so that she could get lifted a bit of her burden. She said whatever happened to Uttara.

Uttara : What's there in this Bhabhi? He only said for your good right?

Rag : you will not understand Uttara. He only sees me as a responsibility and it pains me. It hurts that he never sees me as his wife not even a friend..

Uttara : Bhabhi do you mean that.. Youuuu..

Uttara fears continuing as what if its wrong.

Rag : Yes Uttara i love Laksh. I realized that what i had for Sanskar is just infatuation but what I've for Laksh is something pure that it can't be explained in words. I can never imagine anybody else in the place of Laksh in my life anymore. But Laksh.. He only sees me as a responsibility. Not even as a friend nor even a woman.

Uttara : Don't worry Bhabhi. I'm sure Bhaiyya will soon realize that you are his soul mate. You know he's slow and immature but he's good by heart. Don't give up so soon. Please keep hope. We don't know what future holds for us. Have patience.

Ragini gains some hope with Uttara's words. She hugs her thanking her for supporting her. She asks her to keep it a secret from anyone but Uttara leaves with some excuse escaping from the promise. Ragini is so deep in Laksh's thoughts that she didn't realize Uttara sneaking away without answering.

Uttara informs everyone about what happened and everyone gets excited hearing it. They decides to help Ragini unaware of her.

It's been already 4 days and Ragini is fine now but keeps distance from Laksh. Laksh felt weird with her behavior but let's it go thinking it to be her health condition. The auto rickshaw driver which drops Ragini daily to her institution is on leave and Laksh decides to drop Ragini. He lends bike from Omi for a day.

Ragini sits at the back of Laksh and they both leave. At first she tried keeping distance but due to the pit holes in roads she kept sliding close to him. Laksh applies sudden break and Ragini holds his waist in fear. Unknown sensation ran in his body making him uncomfortable. Ragini apologizes and tries taking away her hand but Laksh asks her to let it be as its for her safety. He liked it for some reason and he doesn't know why..

Laksh drops her in collage and is about to leave when Suddenly a boy comes running towards Ragini.

The boy : Hey Ragu, what happened. Why were you absent for past 4 days?

Rag : Nothing Karan. I just had some fever but I'm okay now.

Karan immediately touches her forehead and laksh tightens his grip on the handle seeing it.

Karan : Are you fine now?

Ragini nods yes..

Rag : I'm okay.

He notices laksh and asks Ragini who it is.

Rag (with hesitation) : MY FRIEND..

laksh gets extremely shocked hearing this. That's when he notices that she's neither wearing her mangalsutra nor her sindoor. He grits his teeth as he doesn't liked it a bit.

Karan waves a casual hit him and takes Ragini away dragging her by her hand making Laksh widen his eyes in shock.

Actually I'm speechless seeing the response for the last update.. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
