You hear the sound of the alarm clock bring you back to the death of reality. You moan and slam your fist on the off button. You yank the covers off and sigh," At least today is pay day."
You work at Kawaii chan maid cafe she opened, being friends with her, she let you work there. You love your job, but your work the morning. 4:00 morning! You pull your favorite color maid outfit and flats on. The only reason you get motivated to go to work, is because Zane likes to go there every Tuesday, today was Tuesday. A moving truck at the neighbors distracted you. Cool new neighbors!You jog to your car and drive work.
You check in with Kawaii- chan, and then get straight to work. You seat some people who were waiting.
The hours go by. Zane is not here at his usual time. You walk up to Aphmau, your coworker," Do you know what happened to Zane? No reason at all." Aphmau writes down someone's order," Didn't you hear? He moved." What ?!? Aphmau walks away. You catch up to her," Wait where?" Aphmau shrugs," I don't know, you'll have to ask Garroth for that, now get back to work or you will get in trouble!" You hurry back to your job.
Your shift ends at 3:00 pm. Kawaii- chan gives you your paycheck, and you head out. You walk to Garroths, because he lives close. You walk up his porch steps and knock on the door. You hear laughing, a girl too. The door opens, and there is Garroth. He is wearing the usual. He says hi, but you look past him and see Emma. She waves and you wave back. You look back at Garroth," Oh yes, Garroth. Just out of curiosity, where did Zane move to?" He chuckles," Everyone knows, (y/n) just tell him." You blush bright red," Looks who's talking !!" You nudge at Emma. He blushes, steps closer, and slams the door behind him," Okay, okay if I tell you, will you shh about it?" He waves his hands in a ssshhhing motion. You grin," I guess." Garroth smirks," Well just walk home and you'll find out." What is that supposed to mean?! He quickly slams the door before you can respond. You call after him," GARROTH?!? Come back!" You hear him laugh playfully," Muahhhahahaha!" You try to open the door, but it was locked. You stomp all the way off his property. Then it hit you. The moving truck!!He is my neighbor?!!!!? You run all the way home, leaving your car there. You see Zane carrying a box in his arms. You run up to him and tackle him trying to hug him. He groans,"(y/n)!! " you scream," I thought you were leaving me!!" He just gives you a confused look. You get off of him. You see the box that was in his hands on the floor, it's pieces on the ground. You start to pick stuff up," Oh my, I'm so sorry, Zane!" You were about to pick up a photo frame until you saw the picture. It was you, smiling at prom. Zane had his arm around your shoulder, he looks a bit shy. Zane grabs the picture from you," Oh, well yeah, sorry for not telling you!" He walks inside his home. You realize all the boxs' contents were you, you say a glimpse of you at your fifth birthday, and one of you at your first day of school. You blush. You walk inside you home, and plop yourself on your couch. Zane is my neighbor.
