You wake up smelling something cooking. You notice Zane is gone. You walk out of the tent and see Laurance chasing after a horse. You giggle. Aphmau is waking up Garroth and Emma. You see Zane over by a fire cooking eggs in a pan. You walk up to him," Since when do you cook?" He laughs," Since now, Aphmau made me do it." He hands you a plate of eggs," Here, eat up , we have a lot of traveling to do. Aphmau told me that she saw the ship in wreckage so we have to walk on horseback ." You nod and find a log next to Katelyn and start eating, she says," So are you dating Zane?" You blush," N- no." She shrugs," But I guess you want to." You blush so hard you feel your face is turning into a tomato.  Thankfully Emma walked over with her plate of eggs. She says," Zane is a really good guy now." You are confused," What do you mean by now?" She says," Well everytime I was with Garroth after school, Zane always stormed off to his bedroom and slammed the door. He was always mean. He was bullied at school and taking it out on his family was the only thing to calm him down. " You bit your lip, it made you uncomfortable to talk about it. Emma notices," Oh sorry, but he even carried the card you made him in his bookba..." She stops. You were crying. She pats you on the back, she and Katelyn leave to help Laurance gather some horses. You set down the plate, you lost your appetite. They collected seven horses. You all get saddled up after packing up your camp. Aphmau leads the way, and Laurance and the others follow. You call Laurance back. He stops and looks at you. You ask," Zane, do you still have the birthday card I gave you?" He looks down and pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket. It had brown and yellow edges. The crayons were smudged but the were readable. The corners were bent or torn off. You see him start to tear up. You trot your horse to him and give him a hug. Garroth calls out," Guys we have trouble." You and Zane run up to the group. They are standing in front of a..........
