"Hey...Zane? " You asked, looking of from your toy car. "Yeah?"
       "Promise you'll always be with me?" You  questioned. Zane smiled,"Always ." You smiled back and continued to play with the toys you set out.
           You woke up tears dripping off your face. You sat up and wiped your face. Selena's bed area was empty. "Selena?" No reply. "Selena?!" After the second call, Selena popped out from behind a tree," Yes?" You sigh with relief," Next time, don't go out without telling me."  "Okay mother,"Selena groaned," I was just getting food." You roll your eyes. "Stay here, I'll go hunt. I won't go very far, I will still be distance to hear you. " Selena nods, but slightly irritated.
    You head off to hunt..
   Now you weren't an expert at hunting, but you managed to catch enough bird to feed you and Selena. Satisfied, you walk back towards camp.
       "Selena? I got some dinner, but we need to make a fire."you said, entering the site. You stopped dead in your tracks. Selena, was propped up against a tree, dead.
    "You should have been here to protect her. Such a shame.. If you couldn't care for her, how can you care for the other?" Zane grinned, pulling his sword from Selena. He was slowly walking towards you, and you were still to shocked to move. You reached for your wood sword. Zane laughed," That's what you have? Tree limbs to stop me?"   
       You didn't lose eye contact. "Zane, please remember me, please we were going to get married....we were best friends, until I moved, remember? Then you were possessed, and I saw you again in Phoenix drop?  Please-" you were interrupted," Stop! I don't believe you! Stop filling me with stupid lies! I've had enough of you!" Zane charged, but you dodged. You would have to be more defense, because with a baby, its hard with offense. Zane charged again, only to miss. You used this to attack. It caught Zane off guard, sending him to the ground. You quickly got on top off him to keep him from escaping. You yanked the sword from his hands and threw it. You placed your knees on his arms. He tried to move, but couldn't. "Get off of me! Idiot! " Zane shouted. Tears were falling off your face," Zane! I don't know what the shadow lord did to you, but snap out of it! I can't be a single parent!" Zane stopped moving," What?! Impossible!" You released one of his arms and placed it on your stomach. Zane went silent as he could feel the babies tiny movements. Tears feel from his face," I'm sorry, I don't know who you are, I'm sorry." You cried more. You brought Zane's hand to your heart and held it there," You promised.."
