Ch. 2

When I woke up the next day, I saw that Optimus was still sound asleep. I smiled and carefully got up. Then, I went to the training room. When I got there, I saw my brother already training.

"Hey, bro. What's up?" I asked.
"Cybertron," he replied.

I rolled my optics and laughed. Suddenly, he started coughing. I ran up to him and helped him sit down. After a minute, he stopped.

"What was that about?" I asked.
"It's nothing," he replied.
"Bee..." I said.
He sighed.

"Ever since I woke up this morning, I've been coughing on and off. My chest has also been hurting. I thought I could just train and it would go away, but it hasn't yet," Bee explained.

"Do Star and Ratchet know?" I asked.
He shook his head no.

"It's okay to go to them, you know. You don't always have to be tough," I replied.

He stared at the ground.

"Promise me you'll at least talk to Ratchet soon," I said.

"Promise," he replied.
I smiled as I started training.

After half an hour, my brother said, "I'm going to go relax for a bit."

"Okay. Go see Ratchet, please?" I asked.
"I promised you I would," he replied.
I smiled at him as he left.
"Blue!" I heard Optimus call.

I ran to him and saw that he was chasing Star around. I laughed and joined in.

"Get your tailpipe over here!" I yelled as I grabbed Star.

She wiggled free, only to get tackled by Optimus, making me laugh.

"Nice work babe!" I said with a smile.

"Geez get a room you two," Star said as she walked off.

"We do have a room!" I called back.

I sat down at the table and sighed. I was really worried about my brother.

"What's wrong?" Optimus asked as he sat down next to me.

"It's my brother. I'm really worried about him. I can tell he's sick, I just don't know why," I replied.

He grabbed my hand and said, "Bumblebee is strong. I'm sure he will be fine."

He looked at me before kissing me.
"I love you," he whispered.

He smiled as he picked me up bridal style and carried me to out of the room. I blushed and hid my face in his chest.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Heh, you will see when we get there," Optimus replied.

"I should've known it would be a surprise," I said, lifting my head just enough to kiss his cheek.

He carried me into the ship and took me to a small, mountainous area. Optimus opened the door and let me go first.

"Welcome..." he stopped, seeing the Cons surrounding us.

"Scrap," I heard him mumble.

"Um, I take it this wasn't part of the plan?" I asked as I got out my blue and green sword.

"No," he replied while activating his blaster and sword.

"Blue, I'm going after Megatron!" he said.

I nodded as the Decepticons started attacking. After a few minutes, I finished off the cons that were attacking, then I made my way over to Optimus. When I got close, StarScream landed in front of me.

"Get out of my way, dim-spark," I said.
"Or what?" he asked.
"This!" I exclaimed as I charged at him.

He dodged my attack and caught me from behind, holding me so I couldn't escape.

Scrap, I thought as I struggled to get free.

"Where do you think you're going, babe?" StarScream asked.

I could tell he was smirking.

"Oh you did not just call me babe," I said, getting really ticked.

I flipped my sword and stabbed the Con commander in the side of his torso.

"Argh!" he exclaimed as he staggered back.

"Call me that again and I promise you won't live to see another day, you little glitch,"  I threatened.

The Cons kept coming, preventing me from helping Optimus, but at least I was closer to him.

Scrap, they just keep coming. I better call the others, I thought.

"Autobots, come in. Decepticon attack at my current location," I said over the com.

"Star and I will be there as soon as possible. We have to...take care of someone first," Bee replied.

"Understood," I said.

I didn't know exactly who they were referring to, but I had an idea, which made me smile.

"We're on our way," Ironhide said over the com.
"Roger that, 'Hide," I replied.

They arrived at the scene in a couple minutes via the Space Bridge.

"Thanks for saving some D-cons for us," Ironhide said as he joined the fight.

"I hope you guys can handle the rest of them. I need to go help Optimus," I said.

"We got this covered, Blue," Jazz replied.

I nodded and ran towards my sparkmate. I put my sword away and started shooting my blaster at Megatron. Optimus saw that Megatron was distracted and killed him.

"You were always my brother Megatron," he said as he let him die.

I put my weapons away and wrapped Optimus in a hug, not saying anything.

"Geez, get a room," I heard an all too familiar voice say.

I turned around to see the annoying Con commander.

"You know what, gasket breath? Why don't you get recycled?" I replied.

"Why you little-" StarScream started to say, but I interrupted him.

"You really wanna go?" I asked as I took out my sword again.

He looked around frantically before transforming and flying off.

"That's what I thought, coward!" I yelled at him.

I turned my attention back to the others. I saw my brother fighting Steeljaw, but something was off. I ran over to my brother and glared at the predacon, gripping my sword tightly.

"If you so much as lay a finger on my brother, I will tear you to scraps!" I threatened angrily.

I was so ticked off right now. Nobody messes with my family. Nobody. Steeljaw just smirked at me.

"I swear I'm one astrosecond away from feeding you to scraplets," I mumbled.

We need a way out of here. Anytime now, Ratchet, I thought.

The bridge back to HQ appeared.
"Everyone, go! Star, get Bee out of here!" I said.

We went through after everyone else had gone. Optimus shot at Steeljaw before he left. When we got back, I saw Star walking off to her room.

"Optimus, I think you should go talk to your sister," I suggested.

He nodded and went to talk to Star while I went to talk to my brother. I first went to Ratchet, but Bee wasn't there.

"Hey Doc R, do you know where Bee went?" I asked.
"He's going to tell StarCatcher," he replied.

"Oh, about his condition?" I asked and Ratchet nodded.

"Speaking of which, what is wrong with him?" I added.

When he told me, I was shocked.
"But he's too young!" I said.

"I know. That's why it is unusual. You do know...only one of every twenty Cybertronians that get it survive, right? So there's only a 0.05% he'll make it," he said sympathetically.

I closed my eyes as I slowly nodded.

"Please, do everything you can to save him," I said quietly.

Ratchet put his hand on my shoulder and replied, "Of course. Now, go find your brother."

I gave a small smile and walked away. I found Bee walking towards his room. I knew Optimus was there, so I stopped him.

"Hey, bro. How are you doing?" I asked, hiding my sadness and fear.

"I've been better," he replied.

"I know you're going to tell Star and I know what's up," I said.

He looked at me and wrapped me in a hug. I hugged him back as I let myself cry.

"Hey, everything's going to be okay. I'm going to be okay," he said comfortingly.

"You're the only family I have left," I said quietly.

"That's not true anymore. You have Optimus, Star, and all the other bots," he replied.

"It's not the same," I said softly.

"Look, no matter what happens, you'll always be my little sister and I'll always be with you," he replied with a sigh.

I looked up at him and smiled.

"You know how much I get annoyed when you call me your little sister," I said.

"I know. Why do you think I brought it up?" he replied with a smirk.

I rolled my optics.
"I love you, big brother," I said.

"I love you too, little sis," he said with a smile as we broke apart.

"Oh, by the way, when will I get to see my new niece or nephew?" I asked.

Bumblebee looked confused for a second, then smiled.

"She's a girl and every day, or did you forget we all live together?" he replied.

I chuckled as Optimus walked out.

"Alright. Well, I'm going to leave you and your new family alone. Let me know if you need anything," I said.

Bee smiled and nodded before going into their room.
"So...how are you?" Optimus asked.

"I'm okay, and don't worry. I know," I replied with a smile.

"Oh thank Primus! They haven't picked a name yet but I'm sure it will be either a stupid one or a good one," he replied, smiling at me.

I chuckled at my sparkmate's remark.

"Yeah, it'll probably be something like Starbee," I joked.

I looked into his optics and smiled.
"OPTIMUS, BLUE, RATCHET! HELP!" Star called.
