TWENTY-ONE

13th March

Although the rain had partially stopped a while ago, the dark clouds were back in the sky again and it was pouring down hard. Which was why Taehyung's sister insisted that Jungkook should stay until the clouds cleared out.

So, Jungkook and Taehyung spent the rest of their time putting Bambi in her crib beside Blu, goofing about with Yeontan and casually talking to each other while picking out strawberries to enjoy with some chocolate.

Yeontan walked by Jungkook's heels as he and Taehyung came back into the house with a tray of fresh strawberries. The little dog pounced at him, looking up at Jungkook with needy eyes. He knelt down and patted Yeontan's head.

"Do you want some?" Jungkook asked as Yeontan shoved his snout into the tray full of blush red fruit. "Nah-uh, no, no, no!" he pulled the tray away from the dog. "Not like that, Yeontan! Be patient!" he raised his hand in front of Yeontan and asked him to sit like a good boy.

"I'll be in the kitchen, alright, Jungkook?" Taehyung called out to him from ahead.

Jungkook looked up to Taehyung. "Y-yeah. I'll be right there in some time."

While Jungkook fed Yeontan, Taehyung headed into the kitchen where his sister was prepping ingredients for the night's dinner.

"Hey, there." his sister greeted him as she started dicing a few tomatoes.

"Hey." he frowned at her sudden greeting. He peeped over at the pot of boiling water. "What are we having?"

"Spaghetti and meatballs."

"Hmm." Taehyung hummed as he dumped the strawberries into a straining container and let it under running water. "When are they coming back?" he was referring to his mother, uncle and aunt who were out to visit their winery.

"They might be late."

"Okay..."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah?"

"You kissed Jungkook, right?"

Taehyung turned the tap water off and stared at his sister in oblivion. "What?"

"I saw you, Tae." she said confidently.

Taehyung's heart seized. 'Where?' he asked himself. 'There is no way she figured out we kissed in the forest, right? Wait...that's impossible....did she see us in the room then?'

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." he avoided the question.

"Oh, please!" she stirred the pot of pasta. "You stutter when you're hiding something. Now I definitely know something is up."

"Where's the chocolate?"

"Don't divert the topic!" she spun around and walked up to face her younger brother. "I'm being serious here! I have no intentions of teasing you about it, I've gotten too old for that now." she smiled sweetly. "I just saw you both by the fireplace last night and wow was the atmosphere dreamy and romantic between the two of you! The way you both were lost in each other's eyes....the way your lips-"

"Okay, okay, stop!" Taehyung's face burned shyly as he recalled the previous night's moment.

His sister smiled at his blushed face. "Are you two dating? Because if you are-" she turned back to her pasta. "-you haven't told me, but if you forgot to tell me....the first one to give me such information would be-"

"Jimin." he smiled timidly. "Yeah..I know."

"And besides- you're into guys and you haven't told me anything about that?"

"No..that's the point...I don't actually know. Also...Jungkook and I- we aren't exactly dating. I mean, I guess we are now but-"

"Now?" his sister paused. "So, you're telling me you kissed him without actually telling him anything or-"

"No!" Taehyung groaned out and licked his lips in frustration. "We didn't kiss last night by the fireplace. We almost did."

She narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "I am so confused right now."

Taehyung took in a deep breath and explained everything to her.

"So, you mean to say you both kissed, he confessed and a spark ignited in you but you aren't sure about it?"

"Yes... something like that. Wait....doesn't it bother you?"

"What does?"

"H-he's a guy and I...I am too."

The sister turned off the heat under the pot and turned to Taehyung once again. "If you're worried about me finding it weird that you're going on a date with a guy who you clearly have feelings for, you should stop worrying." she patted his shoulder. "I'm glad that you thought of trusting yourself with someone else after so long."

Taehyung's heart eased down in relief when she said that, he'd come up with multiple worse outcomes, but he was glad that it went rather smoothly.

"Does he know?" Taehyung asked in concern.

She figured he was talking about her husband and shook her head. "No, but I don't think you need to worry about him." her face became grim all of a sudden. Her voice turned to a murmur. "But if your mother knew about you two.."

"What-"

"What are you guys talking about?" a cheery Jungkook interrupted the two as he walked in with a tray. He sniffed the kitchen and let out a pleasing hum. "Wow, what is that smell??"

Taehyung and his sister parted awkwardly and she turned to Jungkook. "We're having spaghetti for dinner!"

"You really didn't have to!" Jungkook insisted.

"Well, I had to make dinner anyway, one extra portion isn't that hard to cook! Please, don't ever try to see yourself as a burden, we're family!"

Jungkook froze at the word 'family', his eyes trailed to Taehyung and then to his tray of strawberries in embarrassment. "Uh..yeah...um...Taehyung?"

"Yeah?" he replied.

"The strawberries." Jungkook extended the tray to him.

Taehyung took the tray from Jungkook and proceeded to wash the fruits. His sister smiled lovingly at him, Taehyung wasn't sure if she was mocking him in a sisterly way or just playfully admiring how supple he was with Jungkook. Either way, he felt happy that he told his sister, he was relieved their conversation didn't take a bad turn.

Once Taehyung and Jungkook had washed their strawberries, left some out and melted the chocolate, the two of them headed to the cozy living room until dinner was ready.

"Are you sure your sister wouldn't need our help with dinner?" Jungkook asked, sitting down on the carpeted floor with a bowl of melted chocolate in his hands.

"Yeah." Taehyung nodded. "If she says she's doesn't need any, she probably means it. Wa-wait..why are you sitting down?"

"It was comfortable here last night." he replied softly, patting the carpet beside him, asking Taehyung to sit by him. "I felt at ease with you."

Taehyung slowly sat down beside him and made gentle eye-contact. He smiled at him and Jungkook smiled back. There was heavy air around them, but both tried well to push it aside and be as close as they could to each other. Their toes were partially touching, smiling cheeks were blushing and their hands were nervous to make any sort of movement.

"You know-" Taehyung broke the silence. "-sitting here, it reminds me of yesterday night. I can't seem to forget it."

Jungkook dipped a strawberry into the chocolate and chuckled sarcastically. "About me gushing tears over my sob story about me and Ethan?"

"No!" Taehyung replied quickly, he thought he offended him. "I was talking about how we almost-" he stopped and tapped awkwardly on the bowl of berries. "...you know."

Jungkook gaped at Taehyung for a few seconds blankly before he realised what he meant. When he did, he swept his eyes away and stuffed his mouth with fruit in embarrassment. "Right....that."

Seeing Jungkook get flustered like that made Taehyung smile at his innocence. Jungkook may have been bold with his kisses, but he still was way too nervous around Taehyung.

Taehyung then scooted closer to him so that their knees touched. Jungkook flinched a little but then smiled heartedly at Taehyung. "Now that you mention it, I can't get it out of my head either." Jungkook said. "I guess we could've kissed then, only if the others didn't come back by then."

"I think that too." Taehyung agreed. His fingers fluttered to Jungkook's knee and started drawing circles on it. "Do you think it would have been awkward? Me initiating the kiss?"

Jungkook raised an eyebrow to him. "Was it awkward after you did so, so romantically in the rain? Hmm?"

Taehyung smirked, rolling his tongue. "You were all wide-eyed and looked so shocked!"

"Hey!" Jungkook giggled a little. "How do you expect me to react when the person I like randomly kisses me after he dragged me into the rain to dance with him?!" he grabbed Taehyung's finger and shook it about playfully like a child. "Huh??" he laughed. "How should I react??"

Taehyung laughed softly and looked down at his crossed legs. "But...it wasn't awkward, was it?"

Jungkook stopped shaking his finger. "Of course not. " he replied in a small voice. "Didn't I grab you for the second one?"

Taehyung pursed his lips and then licked them. "You literally pulled me in." he said gently, slowly eating one strawberry.

"Oh, right..." Jungkook let go of his finger. "Sorry about that, I just-"

"I liked it." Taehyung muttered.

"What?"

Taehyung faked a cough and smiled teasingly. "Nothing."

Jungkook frowned. "I know you said something!"

"No, I didn't." he smiled.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook whined.

"Alright, alright! I just said that I liked it. The way you gently pulled me into another kiss....I liked it. Oh and I like your earlobes too, they're soft."

"What?" Jungkook snickered and touched his ears. "That was random."

"It's true, though! But they're sensitive aren't they?"

"Huh?"

"Your ears went bright red when I touched them."

Heat rose up to Jungkook's face. "Th-they did?"

"Yeah." Taehyung nodded, eating the strawberries away. "Anyway....so, what about this date of ours? Where do you want to go?"

"I'd like it anywhere till it's with you-" he eyed the bowl of fruit. "Hey! You're gonna finish the strawberries!" he pouted like a kid. "I barely had any!"

Taehyung was about to put a strawberry in his mouth when he diverted it to Jungkook's mouth. "Here you go."

Jungkook looked at the strawberry in front of him and then at Taehyung.

"What's the matter?" Taehyung asked. "Won't you eat it if I am feeding you?" he raised a brow, teasingly testing Jungkook.

'What a tease.' Jungkook mentally rolled his eyes sarcastically and then ate the strawberry from Taehyung.

"Look-" Taehyung clicked his tongue. "You got chocolate on yourself."

He leaned forward to Jungkook and wiped the chocolate off of the corner of his mouth with his thumb. Keeping neat eye-contact, he licked the chocolate from his thumb and smirked.

'He's so much more flirtatious than I thought he'd be.' Jungkook thought.

Taehyung got another strawberry for him. "Now, don't be clumsy with this guy unless you want to fluster up like that again because of me."

Jungkook's face partially froze at that. 'How much of a teasing Taehyung does he have hidden in him? It's like I'm seeing a completely different person.... Was he always like this?'

"So-" Taehyung started again, after they were done with their strawberries. "Where would you like to go for our very first date?"

"Hmmm." Jungkook hummed while licking a spoon of chocolate. "The amusement park? But that would get too classic. But we could go hiking too-"

"The amusement park sounds fine, I haven't been there in a long long time. But...."

"But?"

He pouted and gave Jungkook a pair of glistening puppy eyes. "Hiking sounds good too."

Jungkook smiled at Taehyung. "We can go anywhere you like. I don't have any restrictions."

"But-" he pouted again. "The amusement park is tempting, yet hiking sounds fun because then I get to spend more time with you." he fiddled with Jungkook's fingers.

"We'll get to spend time together either way, besides-" Jungkook cleared his throat modestly. "No one said that going out restricts us to just one date, does it?"

Taehyung gaped slightly and then smiled shyly. "Of course not."

Jungkook smiled affectionately and placed a soft kiss on the back of Taehyung's hand. "I'm going to take you to as many-"

"Boys-" a voice interrupted them. Jungkook fumbled, letting Taehyung's hand go in panic.

It was Taehyung's sister by the entrance of the living room. She stared at the two for a couple of seconds, giving them a suspicious frown. "Dinner's ready." she said sweetly. "The table is already set, so don't take too long to be there, alright?"

"Yeah-" Taehyung nodded his head. "We'll be there in a bit."

His sister gave them a final look of disbelief and then walked away.

"I'm sorry." Jungkook said apologetically. "I- panicked."

"It's alright, Jungkook." Taehyung said softly. "And...I think I should tell you.....She already knows."

"What?" his eyes shot up and widened. "But we barely- it just happened today!"

"She saw us yesterday night and thought something happened between us. And she got suspicious after she noticed the atmosphere between us."

"Your sister really has great intuition. It's amazing how she figured us out with just that much."

"Yeah...I can't really hide anything from her, I'm sorry."

Jungkook frowned disapprovingly. "Why do you have to apologise for that? It's alright!"

But Taehyung could sense that Jungkook was a bit uncomfortable about it. Despite his cheery aura, Taehyung could see uneasiness on Jungkook's face. "You don't need to worry about it." he assured him. "My sister is supporting."

"But this is your first time with a guy, isn't it? You've never actually tried going out with someone of the same gender, right?"

"No, but my sister-"

"It's not about that, Taehyung." Jungkook stared at Taehyung's fingers and clasped them in his hand slowly. "I really like you, hm? And the fact that you've given us a chance is overwhelming as it is. But..." he shook his head. "I know I might sound stupid, but it's been going on in my head since we first kissed. I'm just afraid."

"Of what?" Taehyung squeezed his hand back in overpowering concern and worry.

Jungkook sighed. "Of losing you. I'm afraid that this is just something in the heat of the moment and that things seem to be fitting in perfectly a little too seamlessly. I'm afraid that because this is a first time for you with a guy....what if it backfires or something?"

"Are you telling me that you think it might not work out because it's a first for me with a guy?"

"Yeah..." Jungkook slowly nodded. "And about your sister.....she knows you better than anyone and if she were to influence you in any way about how this may have been a wrong decision.......I'm sorry, I'm being rude, I'll just st-"

Taehyung put a finger to Jungkook's lips. "Shut up." he told him.

Jungkook's brows scrunched in anxiousness, his eyes filled with worry and his lips quivered just slightly as they were pressed back by Taehyung's finger.

"First of all-" Taehyung started. "-You're not rude. It's only natural for you to think that way, I understand. But, let's get my sister out of the picture. This is about us and I think I make my own decisions here. After all, I was the one who chose to kiss you." his voice had a certain sturdiness to it, it was bold and dominant in its point. "Second, I may not be exactly clear about how I feel because this is new for me, but I assure you, this is not some sort of one-time fling." he retrieved his finger from Jungkook's lips and chuckled while Jungkook still held onto his hand. "Besides, haven't I told you about this? I wouldn't have offered to go out if this was such a frivolous topic to me. This is important."

Jungkook didn't know what to say. He was just so glad to have heard all that from Taehyung, he was almost moved to tears, but he kept it in.

"Are those tears in your eyes?" Taehyung tilted his head to Jungkook.

Jungkook faced him. "No, I'm just happy."

Taehyung smiled. "Shall we go for dinner now?"

Jungkook nodded and let go of his hand. The two got up with the chocolate and strawberry bowls and headed to the dining room.

It was just Jungkook, Taehyung, his sister and her husband at the dining table for spaghetti and meatballs. The air was heavy, Jungkook was lost in thought about the conversation a while ago while Taehyung and his sister just had an awkward aura around them. The only person who was a bit confused with the unexpected silence was the husband. He'd look up from his plate every now and eye the others hoping that someone would talk, but all he'd see were faces trying to avoid unwanted conversation.

So, like the kind, jolly person he was, he decided to speak up to lift the mood of the monotonous atmosphere.

"So-" he began, looking up at Taehyung and Jungkook sitting in front of him. "Did you both have fun yesterday? It was your first time at the festival, right Jungkook?"

Snapping back from his thoughts Jungkook nodded. "Yes, it was. It was pretty fun, I enjoyed a lot!"

The husband nodded. "You know-" he looked at Taehyung. "Your aunt was telling me about how you both wouldn't leave each other's side yesterday! Even at the dance! You both must have had a really great time together!"

Taehyung and Jungkook looked at each other with shy faces and just laughed sightly to merge in with the conversation.

"I must say-" the husband started again. "You two do look really good together."

Jungkook choked on the water he was sipping, letting out two lethal coughs while Taehyung stopped mid-way from slurping his pasta and looked at his brother-in-law like he just murdered someone.

His wife was just as surprised as the other two but she tried to keep her composure.

The husband looked at them and frowned. "What's the matter?" he smiled. "Did I say something wrong?"

Still coughing, Jungkook shook his hand. "No! No, No! Not at all!" his face flushed red in embarrassment. "Nope- nothing......."

The man looked around, still confused. "I'm sorry to have said that out of the blue, I was just trying to lighten the mood, but it looks like I just made it heavier."

No one replied, which only stirred oil in the already growing fire of curiosity in the husband's mind. "Okay-" he set his fork down, folded his arms and sighed. "-what is happening here? I know you all are hiding something from me. If not, you lot would not have been staring down at this amazing pasta and not even say a single word."

The three around him looked at each other.

"Jungkook and I are together." Taehyung blurted out.

"WHAT?" Jungkook shouted out partially. Taehyung mentioning their relationship was the last thing he expected him to say.

The husband slowly turned his head to his wife who didn't seem surprised by the news but was more shocked by the sudden mention.

"Did you know about this?" he asked her.

She nodded and looked at her husband. "Taehyung just told me a short while ago."

"So, it's new?" he got a bit excited. "Wow, I'm so sorry to have made the atmosphere so weird. This is great news though! As I said, you two really make a great couple!"

The two smiled awkwardly and went back to their spaghetti.

Although the two didn't mind letting the husband know about their relationship, they were pretty hesitant about mentioning it to someone. Strictly speaking, they were just trying this relationship out for Taehyung to understand how he felt, but to Taehyung that didn't mean that he wasn't taking this seriously. Every second he spent with Jungkook, he only seemed to feel closer to him, he wished that that moment wouldn't come to an end, he wished to be by Jungkook for as long as he could.

Taehyung wasn't sure if he had felt this way with Jungkook before. He did enjoy spending time with him and always looked forward to the next time they'd meet, but now......it felt different, it was as though he had unlocked a door and taken a giant leap forward, which made him more comfortable to try more things with Jungkook, he felt more homely with him. He wasn't hesitant with his actions, he didn't want to be and maybe that was what made him so happy being around Jungkook. He was someone Taehyung felt like he wanted to give all his affection to, make him smile and laugh. It was a scintillating feeling of some sort that Taehyung couldn't really explain.

As time passed, the darkness grew outside, but the rain kept on pouring, which meant that Taehyung's sister wasn't letting Jungkook leave, not in the rain.

"But, it's just rain!" Jungkook whined to her as he and Taehyung stood in the kitchen helping with the dishes while her husband handled Bambi and Blu.

"Yes, but you'll get wet."

"Taehyung could drop me!" Jungkook suggested innocently.

"But your clothes are still drying." Taehyung commented, while keeping his eye on the plate he wiped dry.

"Also-" his sister started. "-There's no harm if you stay here tonight, right?" she raised a brow to the men and smirked.

"Yeah, it's just like a sleepover." Taehyung chuckled naughtily.

"You just want me to stay, don't you?" Jungkook shook his head.

Taehyung leaned his head to the side slightly and deepened his voice to a husky tone. "Yes, I'd like my boyfriend to stay the night."

Jungkook seized at the word 'boyfriend', Taehyung just called him that with such ease.

His sister widened her eyes in mischievous shock and pretended to clear throat with a smile on her face. "I guess my husband is calling me-" she pointed at the kitchen's door. "-I'll go." slowly, she scooted away from them.

"He isn't really calling for her, is he?" Taehyung murmured to himself, pursing his lips.

"Huh?" Jungkook tilted his head in confusion.

"Ah, nothing." Taehyung continued wiping the plate in his hand.

The kitchen fell silent for a while until Jungkook broke it up by clearing his throat. "Um... so we are boyfriends now?"

Taehyung scrunched his brows and nodded with a small smile. "Yeah? Of course."

Jungkook huffed out a small breathy chuckle.

"What's the matter?" Taehyung asked. "Should I not call you that? Do you not like it?"

"No! I do! It was just so sudden and the fact that you said it with such ease...that caught me off guard." he snickered. "All of this is just so overwhelming, it's weird."

Taehyung smiled along and then went back to drying the dishes. "So, you're staying, right?" he asked.

"What?"

"You're staying the night, right?"

"You meant that? I thought you were just kidding!"

"Why? You don't want to stay?" Taehyung's lips were starting to pout a little.

"No! It's not that! You mentioned it out of the blue so I thought you were kidding. And besides, spending the night- isn't that too much?" Of course, here Jungkook meant that he didn't want to cause any trouble because of his stay, after all, Taehyung's family just met him. But besides that, Jungkook definitely had other thoughts in his head.

'One entire night together-' Jungkook didn't want to but he couldn't help but imagine about things that might come after kisses. '-okay, Jungkook, don't go there-' he smiled to himself internally, trying to trick himself into thinking innocent thoughts. '-It's too early, shut those thoughts right now!'

"Are you nervous because of something? For example-" Taehyung smiled teasingly and moved closer to Jungkook. "-something you're specially anticipating for? Something you think we might do?"

Jungkook's ears grew hot and he clenched the drying towel to his chest. Taehyung was just inches away from his face.

"No...." Jungkook replied meekly yet looking right in Taehyung's eyes because he was done with his teasing. "By the way, where are you getting all this confidence from ever since we happened? You end up making me feel embarrassed." he pouted.

Taehyung huffed. "Says the man who was nervous to stay the night because he was having kinky thoughts now that-"

"I never said that!" Jungkook said sternly.

"And yet you were as red as a tomato a while ago." Taehyung leaned by the counter beside Jungkook and nudged him playfully. "What were you thinking then, hm?"

Jungkook nudged him back. "I wasn't thinking of anything! Okay?" he replied in a slightly high voice, clearly embarrassed to be caught.

Taehyung smiled coyly. "Of course, you weren't~"

"Whatever." Jungkook mumbled and pushed the last plate to Taehyung. "I'll call back at home and let them know....that I'll be here tonight." he walked to leave the kitchen to make his call.

"Lemme know about your plans for tonight then!" Taehyung called out to him teasingly.

"Shush, Taehyung!!" Jungkook called back in fluster and hurriedly left Taehyung giggling by himself in the kitchen.

In the living room, Jungkook shyly smiled to himself at the conversation he and Taehyung had just had. He was glad that Taehyung didn't take it awkwardly and the moment wasn't ruined in any way.

He dialled his father's number on his phone and put the device by his ear, letting the call go by.

"Hey, dad." Jungkook said as he heard his father's voice greet him from the other end. "I just called to let you know that I'll be staying here at Taehyung's for the night."

"At Taehyung's?" he asked in surprise.

"I'll be back by tomorrow, don't worry."

"I'm not worried about that, you're an adult. What I'm more curious about is how this situation came to be."

"It's because of the rain, nothing else."

"Huh?" the father didn't sound satisfied with his son's reply. "You're there only because of the rain? Are you sure nothing else is going on, hmmmm?"

Jungkook sighed with a slight snicker. "I'll explain everything tomorrow, okay? Wish the rest goodnight for me!!"

His father laughed. "Jungkook-!"

"Bye!!" with that, he hung up.

'I wonder how he'll react to it when I tell him tomorrow.' he thought to himself.

He headed back to the kitchen to Taehyung who had finished drying the dishes and then the two headed to his room.

Jungkook was as awkward as ever and insisted he slept on the couch in the living room, but Taehyung grabbed him by the shoulders and sat him down on the bed.

"The bed is big, alright?" he looked down at Jungkook. "Do you think I'll eat you up or something?"

Jungkook looked up at him with a gaped mouth. "Um-"

"Yeah-" Taehyung left Jungkook's shoulders in embarrassment. "That sounded wrong, right?"

Jungkook laughed, nodding his head. "Yeah- that definitely did."

Taehyung cleared his throat. "Anyway, you can't go down on the couch-" he walked to the other side of the bed and started arranging the pillows, one for himself and one for Jungkook. " Also....I need to hold onto something, otherwise, I can't sleep."

Jungkook bit his lower lip. "Well, you could just hug the pillow." he shrugged his shoulders. It was his time to tease Taehyung now.

Taehyung got onto the bed. "Why would I hug the pillow when I have you-"

All of a sudden, two arms grabbed Jungkook by the waist and pulled him to lay on the bed.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook's heart raced at the sudden touch. He tried to get out of his hold but Taehyung gripped onto him tighter and snuggled against Jungkook's back, rubbing his nose along the area affectionately. He could feel Jungkook's fast-beating heart against his face.

"Your heart's pounding like crazy." he said softly, his breath faintly hitting Jungkook through the clothes.

"Of course it is." he replied back, while gently placing his hand on Taehyung's arms, matching his own palm to his. "It's because you're hugging me so close to you."

"Turn around."

"Wh-why?"

"Just turn, hm?"

His voice sounded so seductive and hot behind him, Jungkook was afraid he'd make a move without thinking twice.

Slowly, he turned to Taehyung. Although the bed was big, the two of them were awfully close, their faces were just fingers apart.

Taehyung held Jungkook's hand and placed it against his chest. Jungkook felt a pulsing beat, probably just as fast as his own heart.

"Your heart's beating like crazy too." Jungkook's voice almost sounded like a whisper.

"Yeah, it's because of you." he replied.

Jungkook's eyes trailed to Taehyung's, their eyes met affectionately.

"Is it just me or laying down and gazing into my eyes like that makes your voice a hundred times more seductive?" Jungkook asked him huskily.

"Does it?" Taehyung lowered his gaze to Jungkook's lips while partially touching noses with him.

Jungkook's hand slid from Taehyung's chest to his face and stroked his cheek. Taehyung kissed his palm and held Jungkook's hand in his. Their legs caressed the other's softly, slowly gaining intimacy as their lips impatiently moved closer.

They were about to kiss when a furry friend of theirs crawled up right between them. Yeontan, wagging his tail in excitement to know what's going on, licked the two's faces. Soft giggles filled the room as the little dog messed around with them.

Yeontan tossed around with the boys a bit and then slept off in his doggy couch by the foot of the bed.

Taehyung pulled the sheets on top of the two of them and nuzzled his face up against Jungkook's chest like a little kid. "You don't mind if I hug you like this, right?"

Jungkook shook his head and hugged Taehyung back, resting his chin on his head. "Nope, not at all." he smiled and sniffed in Taehyung's warm scent. He kissed his forehead and pulled him closer. Taehyung smiled at Jungkook's soft gesture and caressed his back soothingly.

The day had probably been one of the best days Taehyung had ever had. There was so much happiness, joy and love that had been clumped into those twenty-four hours, he found it hard to believe that it had actually happened. But one thing bothered him, about what his sister had mentioned about his mother.

"But if your mother knew about you two...." is what she had said.

Taehyung's smile faded as he recalled that.

'What did she mean by that?'  he asked himself.

>Heyyyy!!!! Been long.......*sigh*
