FIFTEEN
I hear the ocean from far away
Across the dream, over the horizon
I'm going to the place that's getting clearer
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my Euphoria
7th March
"Aki, loosen those shoulders pand grit that jaw!" Tessa instructed Aki, walking by him as he did his runway walk. "I don't want you to look like you've stuffed padding under that jacket's shoulder line, while you're sloppily trying to bite into pudding!"
Stiffly, but Aki did as he was told.
"Good." Tessa said. "Now, stop and pose to the camera, show off your attire!" she said, while elaborating her words with movements of her fingers.
Aki stopped and posed, flaunting his outfit towards the man with the camera.
Tessa clapped her hands together. "Alright, now turn!" with that, Aki turned and started to walk back. "Okay, I need my closing model on stand by!" she shouted to the last model, while still keeping her eyes at Aki. "Let's make this seamless and clean! Or we'll all be here until night fall and we'll have the neighbourhood picking at us!"
Tessa and her models had taken up an entire alleyway in the middle of the town, surrounded by nothing but houses. Her goal, besides a prep for a location shoot, was practice for future fashion walks in the city. The alleyway, not too narrow, had given the models a bit more experience with the crowd. With about a dozen or so people passing every now and then as they shot, they became more comfortable in expressing themselves. It was basic model etiquette, but Tessa wanted the models to learn everything from A to Z from her.
Her closing model, Taehyung, stood by, waiting for Aki to reach a certain distance. Once he had, Tessa stopped and watched as Taehyung walked to her.
'Stance, posture, walk.' he said to himself. 'Make it smooth.'
"Eyes and jaw, Taehyung!" the woman beside him pointed out. "Crisp up the air around you!"
'Ah- I forgot about the face.'
He clenched his jaw a bit, lifted his chin just slightly and narrowed his eyes to give a more intimidating look.
'Stop, pose, turn.'
He stopped at the end of the non-existent ramp and made eye contact with the camera. But his eyes weren't just on the lens, his eyes would tease through to the person behind it as well, just to show what he was capable of. And behind the camera, was Jungkook, trying not to get swooned by Taehyung's indirect flirting at him, just to end up missing the shot.
Taehyung though, was enjoying it to the extent that it seemed like he morphed from a timid little caterpillar to a magnificent tiger swallowtail. He smirked naughtily, showing off the interior lining of his coat, moving about on his spot, bringing his face towards or away from the camera teasingly.
While Tessa, the models, the staff and a good share of the neighbourhood hooted as Taehyung showed off his effortlessly poised looks, closing off the last runway walk of the day, Jungkook, behind the camera, was having it hard to contain his emotions as the man in front purposely used his looks to make the most of it. Though Jungkook was enjoying and all, it wasn't the right time or the right place for him to get excited, that is, in any way.
After Taehyung walked back, officially completing the run, Tessa clapped loud twice. "Alright!! That's a wrap for today!" she exclaimed cheerfully. The audience clapped. "Thank you for being such a great sport." she turned to all the men and women and then back to her models. "Food's on me! Let's help the staff clear up and head for our meal, shall we? All clear?"
"CLEAR!" the models cried back in cheer and headed off to their duties.
"You've got them wrapped around your finger." Jungkook walked up next to her.
"I don't have them wrapped around my finger." she turned to him and crossed her arms. "I am their teacher and they've grown to be quite comfortable with me."
"In a span of less than seven days?"
"Yes." she smiled and patted his shoulder. "You just weren't there enough to witness it." saying that, she headed off to help the others.
After all the equipment was packed up, and the quite friendly neighbourhood bid them goodbye, they all headed to the main streets where they found a food truck and stopped by to eat and replenish themselves.
The sun was setting and the lot was chomping down their wraps and sandwiches like a hungry pack of wolves who hadn't eaten in days.
"So, that day-" Tessa talked to Jungkook, as they both stood by the side of the food truck, leaning against the pavement's railings. She observed her wrap from all sides. "-where did the two of you run away to?"
Jungkook looked at her. "How do you know?"
"Oh-" she looked at her food, temptingly. "-so you two did run away with each other? And came back after?"
"No!" Jungkook denied while blushing like a bright tomato, while Tessa giggled. "We just went....somewhere." he averted his eyes from her.
"Hmm...I see....'somewhere'." she bit into her wrap, and the two observed the others enjoying their food.
"Today's shoot was pretty satisfactory, don't you think?" she said to Jungkook, as she gulped down what was in her mouth.
"Standing in that alleyway ever since afternoon, you mean? Yeah, sure." Jungkook chuckled back sarcastically.
"Oh, it was worth it! Admit that!" she gulped down the food in her mouth.
"Well, I must say..." he wiped his mouth with a tissue and cleared his throat. "They seem to be more natural and fluid-" he hesitated a bit. "-they were feeling themselves."
Tessa chuckled and looked at Jungkook from the corner of her eye. "Yes, of course. Did a particular someone interest you?"
Jungkook glared at her. "Tessa-"
"Oh, look-" Tessa interrupted him all of a sudden. "- I better go see whether the others are eating everything. After all, I paid for it."
"What?" Jungkook frowned. "They're not children, Tessa! I think that they will finish it!"
But Tessa just gave him a teasing smile and left.
"Jungkook?" a heavy voice spoke by his right all of a sudden, almost making Jungkook jump.
He turned to the voice, only to find Taehyung right next to him, standing really, really close.
"Taehyung." Jungkook's voice almost seemed lost.
"Do you mind if I joined you?"
"Yes, sure!" Jungkook said casually.
Taehyung smiled and leaned by the railing beside Jungkook, holding onto his sub sandwich in one hand. "So, did I do okay today?"
'Okay? Damn, Tae, you were on fire!' his inner self said to him. 'You were the embodiment of perfection! Moreover, what were you trying to do? Seduce me?'
Of course, Jungkook didn't actually say that, he never could. Instead, he stayed professional, like anyone would.
"You did amazing!" Jungkook nodded his head, trying not to look at Taehyung too much, because then he wouldn't notice if he stopped speaking to admire him. "You were a lot more natural in front of the camera, which made it easy for me to shoot without giving any directions. Tessa has taught you well."
"Tessa is a great teacher." he said. "She's taught me things I never knew about. Small details that I never quite knew that would have such a great impact on my image and posture."
"Well, I'll give her that." Jungkook chuckled. "She is one of the best teachers out there."
Taehyung nodded and started to eat his sandwich.
"Can I ask you something?" Jungkook looked back at Taehyung, he was already half-way done with his sandwich. He really had big bites.
Taehyung nodded his head in response, looking at Jungkook with his stuffed cheeks like a little hamster.
Fighting the grave urge to pinch his soft skin, Jungkook asked- "That place where you took me the other day, the park with the graffiti wall, how did you discover it?"
He chewed a bit quicker and swallowed his food. "During my first year here, I decided to stroll around the city a bit, explore the place." he wiped his mouth and crumpled the now empty wrapper in which his sandwich once was. "I just happened to stumble across it."
"Do you have any idea how that wall happened to be there, in that quiet park? Not many people go there, do they?"
"As far as I have heard, there was some construction going on, the walls were the boundary of the building that was supposed to be built."
"But?"
"But for reasons unknown, nothing ever started. So, now the land belongs to no one."
"No one?"
"Yeah." Taehyung shook his head and chuckled. "The wall became a free canvas and you saw its beauty that day. It makes me happy to think that people chose it as a symbol to celebrate customs and not to exploit anything."
Jungkook smiled and looked down at his feet. "I agree.....Though, I still cant believe that I never knew that place existed!" he raised his head back to Taehyung and gave a small childish pout.
Taehyung just giggled back. "Well, you do now. Thanks to me." he raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, all thanks to you."
In a while, the team was done with their meals and headed back to the studio after the sun had completely set. They gave a short review on the day's work and everyone headed back to their homes, except a few who usually stayed back, amongst whom, Taehyung was a new addition.
"Hey, Tessa?" Taehyung called her from across her office.
"Yeah, what is it?" Tessa replied, staring at a pile of work on her table.
"Where do you want me to keep this?"
Tessa looked up at him and then at the things in his hands.
"Oh. Do you know that area in the studio downstairs? By where we have most of our discussions, by the planning table?"
"Yeah." he nodded.
"Just place the things there." her head went back down to her papers.
"Okay." he started to head out. "Is there anything else?"
"No." she looked up again. "Thank you for your hard work today."
"Thank you too." he smiled and headed down.
Making his way downstairs through the empty hallways, meeting only two or three people on his way, he reached the large studio room and looked around for the table, finally to find one right next to the casual white backdrop. He walked up to it, only to find it in a mess with nowhere to keep the things in his hands.
Sighing in frustration, he kept the chart cases, papers and everything else in his hands, down on the floor, and started to clear away the table. As he did so, he heard a faint sound from nearby. It was weak, but if he stopped making any sound, the voice seemed to get clearer.
He looked around after he placed everything on the table, trying to locate the voice.
The more he concentrated, the more his ears became accustomed to the faint voice, and the more clearer it got. When it was clear enough to decipher the words from each other, Taehyung realised it wasn't a conversation, it was someone singing.
He followed the sound, it got sharper and resonated in his ears as it got louder.
The words sang something about the ocean waves.
About dreams beyond its horizon.
A place with transparent clarity.
About euphoria.
There was a pause in the song as he reached a door which matched the soft lead grey colours of the walls it was embedded in. The wood had a silver panel on it, which read- 'Dark Room', right above the frame of the door were a few glowing red LED lights that read- 'In Use'.
Then, the voice sang again.
Not only were the lyrics a beautiful piece, but Taehyung couldn't help but mentally appreciate how well the singer sang. Their voice was impeccable. So soft, breathy, but just the right amount, right on pitch, and so full and complete.
Taehyung hadn't heard any songs in quite a long time, and he was enjoying this moment quite a lot. He felt so calm and relaxed that he sat down on the carpeted floor, right next to the door, closing his eyes as the elegant voice melted his sense of hearing in the most soothing way possible.
The song ended quite abruptly without Taehyung even realising it had. He was so captivated by the singer, he could imagine his ideal version of euphoria as the voice sung over his thoughts. His imagination wasn't vast, but it correlated with the song's lyrics. Imagining an ocean, its waves hitting the shores, its calming sounds hitting his ears.
It had been long since he felt that calm, that relaxed. He was in his own euphoria.
There was a click, and he noticed the LED lights above the door blinking off and the wooden door opening. Out came a familiar face.
"Taehyung?"
It was Jungkook.
Taehyung got up hurriedly, almost falling down at one point.
"W-what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked.
"You were singing?" Taehyung asked in a rather shocked tone. The voice did seem familiar to him, but he never thought that it would be Jungkook of all people.
Jungkook panicked. He panicked not only because Taehyung was sitting outside the dark room, he panicked because Taehyung was right outside when he was singing. Jungkook never sang in front of anyone, because he was never confident with his voice. He enjoyed it only in his own company, by himself.
"Um.." Jungkook wanted to let the topic slide off, he was too embarrassed to think that his crush just heard him sing. Who knows how he would have sounded. He was afraid that he probably sounded like a howling whale crying out in anguish.
"You sounded amazing!" Taehyung said softly. "How come you never mentioned that you sang?"
"Because I don't sing."
"But you were! Just now, inside there!" he pointed at the door excitedly. "You sound beautiful!! Who knew you were hiding back such a talent!"
Jungkook snickered a bit. "That's not true!" he denied. "I don't sing that great."
"Oh, yes, you do. Trust me."
There was an awkward silence. Neither moved, or spoke. It was like either was waiting for the other to speak up first. So, after a minute or so, Taehyung did.
"You should sing more."
"I've never sung in front of anyone before." Jungkook pocketed his hands and shrugged his shoulders. "Not even my parents."
"So am I the privileged one?"
Jungkook grinned. "I guess so. Besides, what are you doing here? All the others went back home."
"Ah, I actually applied for a part time job here."
"A part time job?" he repeated, with a confused face. "When did that happen? And how come I wasn't aware?"
Taehyung licked his lips and smirked. "Because I applied under Tessa and she-"
"Doesn't tell me anything." Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I know. Wait.... what about Yeontan then?"
"This really sweet neighbour of mine offered to keep him at her place while I am gone. She moved in just recently."
"Oh." Jungkook replied dryly. This talk about a sweet neighbour put him off a little. "She must be really sweet indeed to do such a great favour for you."
Taehyung sensed a bit of a tinge in Jungkook's voice. "Yeah, she is. She doesn't do much really, just cook or knit all day long. She reminds me a lot of my grandmother."
"Oh!" Jungkook mentally smiled in relief when he heard 'grandmother'.
'Wait-' he thought, before being at ease. '-did I just get jealous of a grandma?'
"By the way, what's a dark room?" Taehyung pointed at the door.
Jungkook turned around and stepped to the side. "It's where I develop photographs....from photo films."
"Then why is it called a dark room?"
"Because the film mustn't be exposed to the light. So, while taking out the film, the room must be completely dark....at least, that's the basic definition."
"Oh." Taehyung still kept glaring at the door.
"Do you...um.. want to see?"
Taehyung's eyes gleamed.
Jungkook didn't hesitate and opened the door for him.
Taehyung peeped into the quite dull room. To one end, it had a counter, with trays of different colours. The room overall smelled of various chemicals, pungent, bitter, sour..... it was a bit like vinegar. The smell was faint, but Jungkook still had his mouth and nose covered with a handkerchief.
Taehyung then noticed a cloth line, with a bunch of photos hanging by their corners, each attached with a small peg. He walked up to them and looked at the warm hues on the glossy sheets, shining against the dim yellow light in the room.
"You print these by hand?"
"Yep." Jungkook plucked a picture from the line and handed it to Taehyung. "The others are still drying, but here."
Taehyung looked at the photograph. It was from the other day he posed in front of the blue wings. The picture was beautiful, but it had four gradations of darkness. Going from the lightest to the darkest.
"That's just a test print." Jungkook informed him quickly. "But it's the only dry one I have."
"It looks beautiful." Taehyung had never imagined how well it would have come out. "Can I get a copy? Just like this one?"
"You can keep this one." Jungkook smiled.
"Really? Thank you!"
"I know this is quite off topic, but have you ever seen our gallery?"
"You guys have a gallery?"
Jungkook smiled excitedly, blushing slightly. "Shall we?"
The two made their way up, to the top most floor. Taehyung had never been there before and damn was he intoxicated.
It was like he had entered an entirely different world.
The walls of the huge space were a warm off white colour and it radiated a soft relaxed feeling. The clopping of their shoes echoed around them and Jungkook's supple breaths was all Taehyung could hear.
It was always a delight for Taehyung to look at Jungkook's work. The west side of the gallery was completely filled with just that.
Every picture, every element, each indicated a new world, a new emotion, a new understanding. Jungkook's photographs had such a vast and unique taste to them, Taehyung was always left in awe whenever he saw them. Having to be surrounded by it, overwhelmed the feeling even more.
As they walked by, scrutinizing every picture, Taehyung stopped at one and stared at it. He stared for a very long time.
"Do you like that one?" Jungkook asked, as he walked beside him and rested his eyes on the simple yet astounding picture of a middle aged woman doused in a thin linen cloth with soft flower embroidery, sitting in the rain, on the bare ground, admiring the monsoon. The woman showed no expression, but it looked like she was thankful for the pour, but also sorrowful about something completely unrelated.
"This isn't one of your photographs, is it?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, staring entirely at the giant photograph.
Jungkook smiled. "What makes you say that?"
"I have come to recognise your work, Jungkook." Taehyung turned around to him and gave a modest smirk. "There's just something different about your pictures."
"Oh! Is there now?" his eyebrow raised. "Hmm, a good different or a bad one, mm?"
"An extraordinary one." he gave great emphasis on extraordinary, making Jungkook snigger a bit.
"Yeah, you're right. This is not my photograph. It is my teacher's." Jungkook pointed at the small, barely noticeable white initials at the bottom of the print.
V.M
"This photograph won an award about four years ago." Jungkook spoke. "Its photographer, my teacher. She and I have known each other for about three years now. She taught me the ropes of learning to find my own expressive style in photography."
"V.M." Taehyung read. "What does it stand for?"
Jungkook smiled and looked at Taehyung. "Vivien Müller."
8th March
Vivien Müller was due to arrive that afternoon, all the way from the other end of the world, for her little challenge with her beloved student.
In her thirty five years of living, she had taught a numerous amount of people. Quite a variety of people. But Jungkook was quite the unusual student.
Vivien had first seen him when he was eighteen, but Jungkook never met her until he was halfway through the age of nineteen.
She had taken a liking to his form of work, but felt that he was still naive and had yet to master his real potential, to find his path. She then offered to take him with her as her assistant for one of her long tours around the world, which was when his relation with the world-class photographer exceeded to a bond of student and teacher, and as friends.
Jungkook was to receive Vivien that afternoon.
He stood patiently, looking at his watch every now and then and keeping a keen eye on the terminal gates.
Then, a tall woman with dark frizzy hair walked out. The corners of Jungkook's lips curved wide as he started to wave at her. The woman in her elegant coat noticed him almost immediately and rushed to him.
"Jungkook!" she held his hands and shook them. "How lovely seeing you after so long!" her voice was sweet like honeysuckle and her smile was so kind and innocent, she was probably the sweetest woman Jungkook had ever met in his life.
"Welcome back, Vivien." the two hugged. "Are you hungry?" he asked as he pulled away from her.
"Well-" she patted her belly. "-now that I think of it, I am actually!"
"I know an amazing cafe! How about we go there?"
"I haven't been to the city in the last three years, Jungkook." she smiled softly. "How about you lead the way?"
Jungkook cleared his throat. "Of course, Mrs. Müller." he imitated her thick British accent.
"Oh-" Vivien huffed, smiling a bit and hit him softly. "-when are you going to stop teasing me?"
Back at the 'amazing' cafe, Taehyung was stuck waiting tables for Jimin again, under the condition he'd get pastries from him.
The lunch wave had just hit, and the place was crowded with the office folk.
Taehyung was all over the place, taking orders and then serving. The cafe was already low on staff, and the overwhelming crowd wasn't really helping the staff who were actually there, especially Taehyung.
He wasn't really comfortable with the idea of having to see so many people at once, much less interact with them. But Jimin was in a tough situation, and he'd do anything for him, even if it meant talking to a bunch of people.
Soon, at around two thirty, the place had cooled down a bit and Taehyung could finally breathe a little.
There was one table left though, a table with about five people from an office nearby. Two men and three women.
Taehyung really didn't want to go to them, but he didn't really have a choice.
When he got their order over to them, one of the men's over exaggerated hand movements with a cigarette in his fingers, hit Taehyung's hand. The heat from the cigarette end burnt onto his skin, making him flinch by instinct and drop the drink on the man.
"What the hell?!" the man quickly got up and stared down at himself angrily. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Taehyung didn't even have time to realise the burn on the back of his hand, he had started to panic. He quickly placed the cup on the table and offered the man a towel.
"I am so sorry, sir." his voice was a bit shaky, as he handed the man the towel. "Here, please wipe your-"
"Wipe myself?" he snapped back, raising his voice steadily. "What're you going to do about this stain on my coat, you idiot? Couldn't you see while you serve? If that shit would have seeped through, I would've gotten a burn!"
'Burn.' the word played in Taehyung's head. That was when the pain from the cigarette burn started to sting. It stung badly, like someone was pinching the top layer of his skin with a pair of tweezers, and twisting it around until the skin tore off.
He held back from fighting back and denying the fact that it was his fault, he tried to be calm with the customer.
He gritted back his anger and spoke. "Sir, I apologise, bu-"
"An apology won't do!" he scowled back. "You stained a very expensive coat, you little boy. Do you realise how much this thing costs?" he aggressively shook his coat at Taehyung.
That was when Taehyung started to snap.
He clearly knew that the others on the table knew what had happened. But none of them spoke up, no one tried to stop the man from humiliating Taehyung and shouting at him. They did nothing.
"Sir-" Taehyung's voice got a bit deeper and much more hoarse. "-it was because of your cigarette in the first place-"
"Oh! So now you gonna blame it on this?" he waved his cigarette about.
"Sir, smoking isn't allowed here." he clenched his jaw, trying very hard to hold himself back from shouting at that scoundrel.
"You don't tell me what to do, asshole." he puffed his cigarette a little and blew the smoke out on Taehyung's face. "I will do whatever the fuck I please."
Taehyung had had it. He was ready to throw a punch at the man, but before he could do anything, Jimin stepped in between the customer and Taehyung.
Jimin intended to stop the quarrel, but it only got worse.
Jimin tried to point that smoking wasn't allowed in the cafe, but the man wouldn't listen. At that point, Taehyung was back in action, while Jimin tried to hold him off.
The small quarrel turned to a big messy fight, with a lot of shouting.
All the other customers had stopped eating, and were only looking at the fight.
Outside the cafe, Jungkook and Vivien had just reached, and had noticed the commotion going on inside, through the glass windows.
Jungkook rushed in when he noticed that Taehyung was at one end of the fight.
Vivien held him back as the two entered the cafe.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked her.
"Don't rush in without knowing what is happening. You might create a bigger ruckus!" she said calmly. "Do you know him?"
"Yes!" Jungkook insisted. "Which is why I am trying to help!"
Just then, the two heard a glass being shattered. The customer had just thrown a glass down in anger and proceeded to storm out of the cafe, pushing Jungkook deliberately.
Jungkook wanted to punch the living daylights out of that man, but again, Vivien stopped him.
The other four with the man left shortly after paying, without apologizing for their colleague or even looking sorry about it.
Jimin tried getting Taehyung to let him have a look at the burn, but Taehyung insisted he was fine.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook had entered the scene as well. His heart was beating rapidly and there was nothing but panic on his face as he looked at Taehyung. "I saw you-"
"We're fine, Jungkook." Taehyung was still a bit annoyed by that customer. "That guy-ow! Jimin!"
"I'm sorry! But I have to treat it!" Jimin was holding down on the wound with a wet cloth.
"What's the matter?" Jungkook asked, peeping at what Jimin covered Taehyung's hand.
"It's nothing, Jungkook." Taehyung didn't want to worry him.
"It was that man." Jimin offered. "His cigarette end caused it."
"What?" Jungkook's eyes widened in fear.
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "It's just a small burn-"
"No, It's not."
Jimin took Taehyung into the staff's room to treat the burn, despite his bickering about how the wound wasn't that big at all.
Jungkook joined Vivien after he made sure Taehyung was alright. She waited on a table, looking through the menu.
She would occasionally look up, only to find an anxious Jungkook, chewing on his bottom lip, and nervously rubbing his fingers as he constantly kept looking back.
"Is something the matter?" she asked.
Jungkook turned his head back to her immediately. "Uh- no?"
"Hmm... I see."
In no time, Jungkook was back looking around, quite tensed and bothered for some reason. Vivien then figured that the man Jungkook was trying to step in for before, hadn't returned.
"Are you worried for him?" she asked.
"Huh?" Jungkook gave an innocent look. "Who?"
"You know, that waiter who was fighting with that rude customer."
"Uh....he's just somebody I know."
"Well, you seem quite anxious about this 'somebody'."
"Well..." Jungkook shifted in his seat to face his teacher. He made a shy smiling, yet serious face and rested his chin on his clasped hands. "..This 'somebody' is a very special somebody."
"Oohh- " she smiled and sipped her glass of water. "Looks like our muscle bunny's got an eye for someone. Hmm? So, what's his name?"
"Taehyung, Kim Taehyung."
Taehyung's burn wasn't quite major, but it hurt like hell. Jimin had dressed it well, but Taehyung had to bear with the pain.
"Don't you ever do such a thing again." Jimin said to Taehyung, as he placed the first aid kit back in its place.
"I didn't get this on purpose!"
"I was talking about the fight."
"He started it!" Taehyung defended himself. "I was polite even though I was the one hurt, and not him. The drink only fell on that fucking suit of his! It's not like I burnt his face off!"
"Yes, okay, I get it. I know he was a jerk."
Jimin's phone vibrated in his pocket. It was a message from Yoongi. Jimin smiled when he saw, and immediately started texting back.
"Who are you smiling so wide to?" Taehyung asked, curiously peeping into Jimin's phone.
Jimin whipped it away and held the screen close to his chest. "No one. It's just Yoongi. He and I have a date tonight."
"Oooo~" Taehyung wriggled his eyebrows. "A date night, huh? You sure it's not anything else?"
Jimin frowned and walked away from him. "Shut up."
Yoongi picked Jimin up from the cafe that night for dinner at their favourite local ramen place, and from there headed to the cinemas.
Jimin's boyfriend wasn't a fan of sitting still for two hours to focus his eyes dully on a huge screen, just to watch something that didn't really make much sense to him. But he did it because Jimin had once mentioned how eager he was to watch this particular movie.
Thirty minutes into the movie, Jimin was already leaning onto Yoongi's shoulder, sighing heavily in boredom.
"This movie really isn't anything like how I expected it to be." he muttered in a dull tone to Yoongi.
Yoongi crunched down on his caramel popcorn. "Uh huh? But you wanted to watch this movie."
"It was way different in the trailer!" Jimin giggled. "It was nothing like this!"
"It wasn't, huh?" Yoongi smiled at Jimin as he fed him some of the popcorn. "Do you want to get out then?"
"Huh?" Jimin lifted his head from Yoongi's shoulder.
"Shall we get out of here?"
Jimin agreed and so, the two ditched the theatre and walked on the sidewalk, arm in arm, admiring the night, with the bright street side shops and restaurant still open, while laughing at the same time, about how hysterical yet boring the movie was.
"That was the weirdest thing I have watched for thirty minutes straight, without moving around" Yoongi commented. "We're never doing that again."
Jimin hugged onto his arm and nodded his head, while laughing a bit. "Yep, we won't."
"Did you see that actor's face?" Yoongi raised his hands to his own face.
"He could barely show any expression there! It was like watching something where the character himself doesn't know what was happening!"
Jimin laughed into his hand. "And that one with the makeup? They ruined that poor man's face!"
"His face looked like a swelled up peach. Fuzz included."
Jimin couldn't help but fall towards Yoongi as he laughed, almost tripping, but his boyfriend cautiously caught him and hugged him by his side.
The two continued walking for a while, laughing and giggling, talking about much more random nonsense, something the two of them seemed to have a lot of talent for.
"You know~" Jimin said, a bit dreamily.
"Hmm?"
"It is someone's birthday tomorrow." he gave Yoongi a teasing smile and leaned his face to him.
"Hmm...." Yoongi pretended to think hard, like he had no idea about what Jimin was talking about. "I wonder whose birthday it is."
"Oh, you know who it is!" Jimin nuzzled his nose to Yoongi's cheek.
"Do I?" Yoongi raised his brow and looked back at Jimin.
Jimin just gave him small pecks on the nose and giggled. "Yes, you do!"
"I don't think so." he gave a small smile and looked back ahead.
"You do!"
"Nah."
"Yes!"
Yoongi stopped and looked right into Jimin's smiling eyes for some time, gazing lovingly into his deep brown pupils sparkling because streetlights, like stars in the sky. "I could really just kiss you right now."
"What's stopping you?" Jimin asked, heaving his voice from the back of his throat. The air around his cheeks stirred hot.
"Well-" he looked around at the shops that were still open, and the little amount of people walking around them. He pulled Jimin closer by the waist and let his hand trace his hips through the thick layers of cloth. "-I think that some people may object with how intimately I want to kiss you, right here in public."
"How intimate are we talking?" Jimin's tone lowered as the two got lost into the other's eyes.
"Do you want to find out?"
"Are you going to keep asking me questions?" Jimin smirked. "Aren't you going to show me instead?"
Yoongi bit his lip and looked around, smiling to himself. "You're naughty."
Jimin's eyes narrowed seductively. "I know." he whispered back.
As soon as Yoongi's apartment door shut behind them, the two were all over each other.
The shoes came off first, then the socks and then the coats. They helped the other by taking off their clothing as fast as they could, throwing it on the floor, while still clasping their hands onto the other's nape or cheeks.
Jimin pressed Yoongi against the wall in the living room, eager to explore every inch of him. His hands ran along Yoongi's neck and ears, all the way to his hair. Yoongi's leg raised to press against the centre of Jimin's pants, causing him to mumble a tiny moan from the back of his throat as they continued moving their lips in unison.
The breaths they took in from their noses had gotten heavy, and the heat had risen around them. Their kisses slowly got more sturdy and hot, and their grip onto each other's clothes, a bit tighter, with the restlessness to take them off anxiously. Jimin was aroused enough to think of tearing apart their shirts to continue.
Yoongi held onto Jimin's hands and pinned him to wall, unbuttoning his shirt and taking off his own clothes. Once they were left in just their underwear, Yoongi did not hesitate to stop his hands from tracing Jimin's sleek bare frame.
Jimin's head hit the wall gently and arched back in pleasure, as the stimulus from Yoongi's touch moved from his sides to his butt and thighs.
"Fuck-" Yoongi murmured into Jimin's ears, nibbling at the lobes softly. "-you're soo beautiful."
Yoongi's fingers bluntly hovered over Jimin's crotch, touching him just slightly, which caused Jimin to give out a constricted moan and let his legs bend a bit. He was teasing him.
Jimin looked into Yoongi's lust filled eyes, breathing heavily as his heart rate peaked up. He wrapped his fingers around his nape and pressed onto Yoongi's hips with his groin.
Yoongi gasped out a bit, gently nudging him back. He leaned in to kiss Jimin's nape, down to his chest, and to his nipples. He kissed them, licking tiny circles at the tip and gave a little tug, making Jimin flinch a bit.
"Are you sensitive?" Yoongi asked in his husky voice as he came back to kiss Jimin on the lips while still playing with his nipples.
Jimin opened his mouth, and touched Yoongi's soft lips with his thumb. "Maybe." he breathed out. They kissed again, only to make it deeper and more heated, while cupping one of their hands together.
They made their way to the bedroom, with small breathy giggles and tiny pecks on their bare bodies.
Jimin sat Yoongi down at the edge of the bed and placed his knee on the mattress right in between his legs. He looked down at his eyes and then rested his gaze at his supple lips. He leaned down, and trailed Yoongi's jaw with his lips, giving soft gentle nips, simultaneously nudging his centre with his knee.
Yoongi's head fell back, resting his body back with his elbows. The burning sensation of pleasure spreading from his lower back to the rest of his body forced him to close his eyes while enhancing how he felt Jimin's hot tongue playing around on his skin.
Yoongi gave out a small groan, but chose not to make much noise.
Jimin's mouth now traveled along his pale soft abdomen, laying small pecks and hickeys as he reached his hip bones. Along the way, he made sure to hum a little and look up to Yoongi to see his expressions.
Jimin was now kneeling, letting his hands move freely to caress the inners of Yoongi's thighs, while his mouth reached the band of his black underwear. His fingers travelled up from the thighs to the hems of the cloth between him and Yoongi.
Jimin breathed in heavily as he looked at his extraordinary erection, still hidden away beneath the black cotton. There was excitement in the heated air in the room, a passionate longing of lust and desire, but with that was a slight reluctance, a side of minor hesitance and the sense of lost assurity.
"You okay?" Yoongi asked, a bit worriedly, when he noticed that Jimin stopped. His voice was soft and calm, he genuinely did not want Jimin to force anything on himself if he didn't want to do it.
"Yeah." Jimin nodded, still staring at his bulge. He was afraid he'd get something wrong, which in turn made him feel hesitant, but his desire was getting the best of him, it was inciting him to go ahead.
"If it's too much-"
Jimin didn't let Yoongi finish that sentence, he went for it.
With one hand caressing Yoongi's dick, Jimin's mouth moved along his length, his succulent lips kissing at Yoongi's sweet spots through the cloth. He took in deep breaths through the obstructing fibre every now and then, only to breathe it back out, causing the already explicit sensation on Yoongi's dick to intensify .
Yoongi's hands spread wide into Jimin's soft hair at the sudden movement. "Oh, JIMIN- w-warning!" he managed to say.
Jimin, even more excited than before, he seemed to be gaining more confidence after he realised that Yoongi actually liked his unexpected moves.
He did not bother to give another warning, and went ahead to remove Yoongi's underwear to reveal his erection.
Jimin ears went hot as he thought that he hadn't given anyone head before, he didn't know what to do, but he knew Yoongi was up for anything.
He stroked him, up and down, and felt a slight tug in his hair. When he glanced up, he saw Yoongi's eyes closed, drowning in pleasure, pleasure caused by him.
Yoongi's body rested on one elbow, and his head had fallen back in pleasure. Jimin didn't know how well he was doing, but Yoongi was enjoying it, and Jimin didn't hesitate to take it further from there.
He pressed his plump lips on Yoongi's inner thighs, with which he heard a soft moan from above him. That was when Jimin figured.
'His inner thighs are sensitive.' he thought, with a teasing smirk in hi head.
With that new information, he continued kissing him there, sucking at his skin, forming faint red spots, while stroking him, casually teasing the tip of his dick with his thumb every now and then. And every time he did, he could feel Yoongi's hips knead into the mattress and his spine curve up a bit.
Jimin proceeded to nibble on his skin, which was when Yoongi's hand that kept him up, buckled, and he fell back on the bed. His body was pumping up, and he slowly slid both his hands in Jimin's hair, locking his fingers in between his strands.
"Keep going-" he huffed throatily from above, his breath was running fast, and his toes were curling up slightly.
Jimin smirked and kissed the tip of his penis, all the way to the shaft. "I am." he breathed against him.
With one hand caressing Yoongi's thighs and the other at the base of his penis, he slowly took Yoongi in his mouth and gently rubbed the base with his fingers.
Yoongi's hands trembled a bit, then moved through Jimin's hair, pulling his head towards him. Taking the cue, Jimin curled his tongue around, tensing things up, while also stroking him at the bottom. Yoongi was enjoying it way more than Jimin had anticipated.
Yoongi's fingers folded around his hair, tightening but aware enough to not pull. That was when Jimin knew that the pressure was building up.
"Jimin-" Yoongi moaned out his name softly, followed by a couple of breathy groans as his hips gently thrust to Jimin's mouth.
Jimin let go from his mouth and teased at the very tip, while the rest of his fingers encircled around the girth and moved in fast motion.
Jimin felt the muscles in Yoongi's inner thighs clench a bit, and kissed them, nibbling if needed.
"Shit-I'm cum-" he didn't get to finish that, and was overcome by a moan.
Jimin stopped and rose to sit on top of Yoongi.
"How was that?" he whispered, as he kissed his neck and then his lips.
Yoongi kissed him back. "That was fucking amazing." he whispered back, he touched Jimin's cheek with his left hand and proceeded to reach for his erection below the underwear with his right.
"Let me pleasure you now-" Yoongi said in a raspy voice and sat up with Jimin on his lap. He snuggled his face into his clavicle , making Jimin giggle out loud as Yoongi playfully threw him on the bed and positioned himself on top of him.
"Oh, so it's finally my turn?" Jimin teased, stroking his hands at Yoongi's nape and back.
Yoongi smooched his ears lovingly and let his hands trail down Jimin's spine to his butt.
"I love you so much." he whispered to him softly.
Jimin's arms wrapped around Yoongi and nipped his ear. "I love you too."
