Chapter 1
The year was 1912 and Sophia was visiting her aunt in London England with her sister Annie. They were all in the sitting room having their afternoon tea, when her Aunt looked up and cleared her throat and said
"Well since you girls are to be heading home soon, I thought we should go on one more adventure."
The girls gave their aunt a questioning look, as she opened her purse and grabbed three first class tickets for the R.M.S. Titanic. Both girls squealed with excitement as they looked at the tickets.
"Oh my goodness Aunt Mary, how did you afford these?"
Sophia asked as she smiled at her aunt in disbelief. Mary smiled at the girls who were still getting over the shock of the surprise. She giggled at the girls as she said,
Shut your mouths girls, you will catch flys. Now head to your rooms to write to your mother about your homecoming."
The girls nodded their heads and quickly ran to their rooms. When Sophia got to her room she grabbed a piece of paper and sat down at her desk to start writing. An hour later Sophia looked at her gold clock that sat on a bookshelf next to the desk and saw that it was five o'clock. She quickly stood up and walked over to her vanity to get ready for dinner. After a few minutes she left her room and walked down the stairs.
"It's wonderful for you to finally join us Sophia."
Aunt Mary said as Sophia walked into the dining room. Sophia blushed as she sat down next to her sister. Annie smiled at her sister and gave her the famous I'm about to cause trouble look. Sophia rolled her eyes and started eating. A few minutes later Aunt Mary's very cute but hyper beagle puppy ran into the room. The next few minutes were complete chaos. Dinner was now all over the floor and five dishes were broken. Sophia glared at her sister as she watched her run up the stairs. About an hour later Annie heard someone knock on the door. She stood up and walked to the door then opened it. When she looked who was there she saw her aunt.
"I know you had something to due with Lilly ruining dinner."
Aunt Mary said as she looked at the young girl who's eyes were covered by her blond hair.
"I'm so sorry Aunt Mary I won't do it again."
Annie said as she started to fake cry to try to get out of getting in trouble. Aunt Mary tried her best not to roll her eyes at the young girl, because this wasn't the first time she has cried to get out of trouble. Aunt Mary sighed as she told the young girl to get ready for bed. Then she walked out of the room. Half an hour later Sophia was in her room reading a book when she heard the door open. She looked up and saw her sister standing in the doorway.
"What you did at dinner was extremely rude Annie. What were you thinking?"
Sophia asked in a very annoyed tone. Annie looked down at the brown carpet as she said.
"I know, I didn't mean to break those plates. I thought Lilly was just going to jump on Aunt Mary's lap and surprise her."
Sophia got up from her bed and walked over to Annie and hugged her.
"Did you tell Aunt Mary that you are sorry?"
She asked her sister. Then Sophia heard her sister quietly say no. Sophia rolled her eyes as she said,
"Well you should and goodnight little duck."
Annie smiled and nodded her head and walked to her room.
