Okay, okay. I for one am afraid of asking people to vote and comment on my books because I feel I'm asking for them or something.

The thing is, we all just forget to.

I've read a lot of books on Wattpad. Some of them have requests for people to vote and comment at the end of every chapter and others don't. Not everyone will because there are various kinds of readers (1. The simple reader 2. The voters 3. The voters and commenters) however if you would like some votes on your books you are more likely to get them if you politely ask.

You could also explain the reason behind your asking, for example you could say you're unsure if the book is working, unsure if the chapter fits, or simply asking to see if people like your book.
