So I've already made a whole 40+ (maybe 50+) chapter book about how to get more reads on Wattpad (check it out if you want) but I'll give you the condensed version in this chapter.

1) Follow people. The more active followers you have that read books in your genre, the more reads you're going to get.

2) Make sure your book is polished. Use good spelling and grammar (I suggest an app that converts text into speech). Have a decent looking cover (get someone to make one for you if you can't do it yourself) and be sure that you book is put into the right genre.

3) Make friends on Wattpad. They'll give you advice on your book which will help you make it better as well AND they'll read your book.

4) Wait. Be patient. Reads will come with time, you've just got to work hard and put out good content.

5) UPDATE. Update your books, update them every week with the best chapters you can come out with.
