Izumi-chan: im trying to make my chapters longer so that this story doesn't go over like 50 chapters.. I didn't know I'd bring the story further than the Phantom Lord Arc....

"Let's hurry and do a job. We'll take down the Magic Sect operating in the shadows of the castle town of Lupinus! Let's go!" Erza said as the remaining five of us cheered.

On with Chapter 20:

(Y/N)'S POV

It was the next day since we finished the job at Lupinus. I was lying in my bed, since the mission was very tiring, despite it already being afternoon. It went well, I think. We accidentally destroyed half of the city..

I stared at my ceiling as I thought about what had happened. Natsu spewed fire everywhere.. Gray froze everything, even my water at one moment.. And Erza.. god, I don't even want to remember what she did.

In the end, most of our reward was used to pay the reparations   . Honestly, I didn't mind getting a small reward, because at least it's still something. But, Lucy was the most devastated.

As I continued to stay in my bed for a little longer, someone knocked on my door. I, reluctantly, got out of my bed and opened my door to see Lucy, Erza, Natsu, Happy and Gray.

"Yo, (Y/n)! We're going on another job!" Natsu said excitedly. I gave them a blank look. How are they still energetic. I just want to sleep all day. I sighed. "Fine. You guys should come in, I'm going to take a quick shower." I said before heading towards my bedroom to grab some clothes and then heading towards the bathroom.

TIME SKIP

We were walking out of a train station that looked strangely familiar.. "Onibas? The city from the lullaby incident." Lucy pointed out, causing me to realize it now. As we were walking, I heard something hitting the floor. I looked back to see Natsu lying on the floor as Happy tried to get him up.

I walked towards the duo and used a healing magic that I managed to learn recently to cure Natsu from his sickness. Seconds later, he became well and healthy. "Wow (Y/n).  I never knew you could do that." he said as he finally stood up. "That's because I just learned it recently." I explained as I walked towards the others with Happy and Natsu. "Anyways, thanks!" he thanked me with a wide smile.

Once we caught up with them, Gray asked, "So it's a request for us to use our magic to attract lots of people to see a play, right?"

"Exactly. Sound fun, right?" Lucy responded. "Natsu can shoot fire, you and (Y/n) and Erza can put on a show with your ice and water magic and her Requipping! Then I'll move everyone's hearts with Lyra's singing. It'll be a wonderful performance, don't you think?"

"If I ever finish my novel, I hope it get turned into a play. Right! This is a great opportunity to study staging a play!" Lucy said as she looked determined as ever.

Soon, we stopped in front of a big building and we stared at it in awe. As we were about to enter, a man with short, purplish hair that goes up to two very small, round "ponytails" at the top of his head and is slightly puffed up at the center popped his head out from behind a wall.《his name is Rabian btw》

"Um... You are the people from Fairy Tail, yes?" the man asked. "Yes!" Lucy answered. "Thank you very much for accepting my request!" he thanked us. "Sure! Just leave the stage work to us!" Lucy said.

"About that.. We have a bit of a problem." the man said as his "ponytails" drooped.

He then brought us into the building and into one of the costume rooms. He then explained what had happened.

"What? The actors have all run out on you?" I said in disbelief. "That is correct. Thank you very much." said Rabian as he stood at the doorway. "Thanks for what?" asked Happy as he sweatdropped.

"My plays have been more and more unpopular. So now, the actors are ashamed to be in my productions! Even my wife was tired of me chasing my dream and left me! This was my last chance! Thank you very much!" Rabian said as he kept thanking us for some reason.

"You don't get this "thanking" thing, do you?" deadpanned Gray. "Anyway, the play is canceled! Thank you very much!" exclaimed Rabian as he had tears running down his face.

"I figured it was something, but this?" said Erza, causing the rest of us to look at her questioningly. "If you need actors, then you've got some right here!" she added as she was 'shining' and did vocal exercises.

'What a bad idea.' I thought. "Well, that does sound kind of fun." Lucy said. "We won't let your dream end here!" said Gray. Rabian then started to tear up, "You're so.." he said before mumbling "Well, might as well let them give it a shot. Tch, damn amateurs." a bit too loudly for only himself to hear.

We had one week until the opening and we used that time to practice our roles. When we weren't practicing, we were handing out fliers and constructing the set. Remembering all the lines was actually quite fine for me to be honest, but I'm not sure about the rest of the team.

One time, while we were practicing, some people that we knew decided to visit, even the fake Salamander...

===TIME SKIP===

Finally, it was opening day and surprisingly a lot of people came to watch the play. I was dressed in a nice dress《any dress you want》. "Woah! I've never had such a large audience! Thank you very much!" Rabian said as he peeked through the stage curtains.

We were at the back stage, getting ready to be on stage. Soon, a buzz a heard, signaling that the play was about to start. I quickly went on stage and sat down with my harp ready. The lights dimmed and the curtains opened as I sang, with a spotlight shining on me.

Erza then appeared on stage, as a prince, with another spotlight shone on her as well. She started out strong and opened her mouth to say her lines, but the words wouldn't come out of her mouth and she became stiff..

I noticed her actions from the corner of my eye but continued to sing. Soon, my song ended and I went back to back stage with the rest. "M-My na... is... Fred... Prin... to save..." stuttered Erza. Despite Erza not making any sense from that line, someone from the audience squealed "Huh? But so lovely!"

"I... With ten swords..." Erza started to say as she lifted up her sword while trembling. "Ah, she skipped forward to the later part of the play.." I pointed out. "She's so nervous, she's barely breathing." stated Happy.

"With ten swords of..." Erza said before accidentally summoning some weapons, even a plunger and a broom, and unintentionally shot them towards the audience, almost killing some of them..

Lucy then thought of a way to cover Erza by having her tied up and suspended from up top and got into her role of being a kidnapped princess. "Oh, please save me, Prince Frederick! I've been captured by Seinhart!" she cried out.

Gray then made a sudden appearance as he exclaimed "My name is Julius! If you want the Princess back, then fight me!", which just confused the audience even more..

"I can't bear to watch this.." I mumbled before looking away from the play and listened carefully to know when is my next appearance. I even heard Horologium on stage somehow.. And soon I heard Erza stop stuttering too.

Suddenly, I heard Lucy screaming. I looked back towards the play and saw that Lucy's dress was caught on fire, by none other then Natsu the 'dragon'. I was about to use my water magic to put out, but was slightly too late because Erza decided to (literally) jump in and sliced up Lucy's dress. My eyes went wide.

"Princess, are you okay?" asked Erza calmly. "Why do you hog the spotlight when you suck so bad?!" exclaimed Lucy as she was covered in Erza's green cape. Then for some reason, Natsu started to breathe fire and caused the flames to go everywhere.

I saw Gray about to use his Ice Make but was interrupted when Taurus appeared from the ground and destroyed the wooden floor Gray was standing on. I quickly recovered from my shock and use my magic to put out the fire. Then I saw Erza, Gray and Natsu having a battle on stage...

I quietly made my way towards Lucy and led her away from the chaos and to get her new clothes.. Before I could do the second half of what I had just said, the building collapsed and all that was left were the stage and the seats. Luckily the audience was unharmed.

For some reason, they started cheering. "Wonderful!" Rabian exclaimed. Lucy and I just looked at each other and smiled.

===TIME SKIP===

A week had passed and we had done a few more performances. "I can't believe it was such a huge hit. Not bad for a bunch of stand-ins." Rabian stated. Gray, Natsu and Happy were lying on the short round table, Erza was doing some vocal exercises and Lucy was fanning herself. I, on the other hand, was using my magic to entertain myself while waiting for the start of the next play.

"Come on, give us our reward already." "Three performances a day is way too much!" complained Gray and Natsu. "Lazy bums! Hurry up and get ready!" encouraged Rabian.

'I'm so glad I picked an easy role..' I thought.
