-Chapter Five: Call Back-

(i might have changed the order of the ranks. also, if you see someone in here you dont know, thats okay you dont need to know them)

The meeting for the higher ranked admins was in a few short hours.

Since Xisuma knew the Hermits were responsible enough to take care of themselves for a day or so, he left Hermitcraft early and arrived at the Admin HeadQuarters.

The HeadQuarters was mostly made of grey stone bricks with other textures and shades of grey sprinkled within. The floors were dark oak and lined with red carpet. Fancy torches lined the walls, and small chandeliers that hung above.

The place looked more like a castle than a headquarters, but since admins have been around for a very, very long time, no one wanted to change it or could see it as anything else.

Lower ranked admins nodded to Xisuma as he passed. Not only was he respected for being a high ranking admin, he was known and respected for being the main admin of Hermitcraft. Most admins knew Hermitcraft was the type of server that needed a great amount of patience and emotional control.

Xisuma returned their nods of respect and acknowledgement with a small wave and a nod of a head. Eventually, the room he was scheduled to be in came into sight. The admin sighed in relief. Last year, he got lost and was late, much to everyone else's surprise and amusement.

Xisuma pushed the large spruce doors open, letting them heavily close behind him. From what Xisuma had seen, it was much larger than Grian's room underneath his mansion. Huge support pillars lined the walls. Large stained glass windows allowed colored light to shine on the floor, almost burning the wood of the floorboards and the large meeting table in the center.

The high ranked admins lingered around in the large room, the highest rank being Argentum, followed by Purpura, then Blakkaz, and finally, the lowest rank of the room, Caeruleus.

The Caeruleus admins were messing around, though they were slightly overwhelmed at the presence of the higher ranks. The Blakkaz admins were keeping to themselves, knowing they should be respectful. Among these admins were two players almost everyone knew because they kept getting in trouble with the Primes. Skeppy and a6d were quietly arguing about... haunted closets... as they stood in the corner of the room. Poor BadBoyHalo wasn't a high enough rank to attend this meeting.

There weren't many Purpura admins in Minecraft. At the moment, Xisuma was the only one there. He shrugged to himself, not minding the relative peace and quiet.

The last few Argentum admins were bickering like married couples, as they usually do. They have known each other for so long they act like kids when no normal players are around.

"You suck," Hypixel said with a smug smirk, crossing his scarred arms over his chest. The two tally-marks on his belt buckle sparked brightly as the other Argentum admin, AppleG, huffed.

"Yeah, says the one who lost a duel when he challenged someone on his own server," he snarked. Hypixel rolled his grass green eyes.

"It was Technoblade, do you really expect me to win in a 1v1 with him?"

"You also asked him to carry you in bedwars for goodness sake!" AppleG grinned as Hypixel threw his hands into the air.

"Fine, fine, okay, alright," the server owner said. "I swear there's something in those soups he has..." Hypixel added under his breath. He adjusted the hood on his head, hiding most of his hair and face. The mask across his mouth covered the bottom half of his face, curving on the bridge of his nose.

Xisuma leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed and head lowered. The Hermits were apparently messing around since the chat seemed out of control. A smile tugged at Xisuma's lips as he watched the messages appear on screen, one by one, then eventually fading out of existence.

Two voices in the hallway grabbed his attention. It sounded like two people were arguing, but Xisuma couldn't tell who it was. Making sure no one was looking, he slipped out the door and looked around. He quietly walked down the hall, careful to not make a noise. The yellow-cladded man approached where the faint voice was coming from.

"Well, according to my sources, the Prime Watcher is looking for you," Libra's muffled voice said. Xisuma froze in his tracks. He probably shouldn't be there.

"Hm," the second Prime Admin huffed, the sound coming across as low and impatient. Xisuma started to slowly back away, though he was curious. Was the Prime Watcher finally making a move after all the time, or did something happen between the two?

"No doubt the Watchers will make a move soon... they already have," Libra continued. The other Prime clicked his tongue. Xisuma figured he didn't talk at all. "We have to keep an eye out for them. Much more closer than we have been." Xisuma barely suppressed a yelp as a loud and sudden thud in the room came through the walls. "Lucky you didn't break it. Why would you do that?"

The Purpura admin didn't stick around to hear the answer.

He zoomed back to the room, quietly slipping past the door. Thankfully, it doesn't creak.

Most of the other admins were already sitting at the table. Xisuma took his seat near a few other Purpura admins that arrived as he was sneaking around.

Just as he sat down, the large clock on the wall struck twelve. The annual meeting was just about to start.

Hopefully, just hopefully, something actually interesting will happen this year.
