Chapter 8. Getting to Safety

POV: Xisumavoid
Location: Hermitcraft, Admin Portal

I re-read the message Libra sent out. Does she know how many people that is? There will be no lag problems because it's the Admin HQ, but that's going to be a lot of work.

I explained the problem to the Hermits, messaging the ones who were offline. The online Hermits agreed to come with me.

As I pushed through everyone in the Server Hub, I saw Xelqua watching us like a hawk. Suits him, as his wings support my claim too.

I pushed my group with the help of Biffa towards the large room. There were at least 40 doorways that lead into the room. The room itself was so large, that when I turned up my rendering distance to the max, I still couldn't see the end. I led my group to the place marked 'Hermitcraft'. There were just enough chairs for all of us. Few were empty because there were currently offline. Many other people were there also. I recognized very few, and waved to those I did.

As the hours go by, the stream of people coming in never slows. If anything, it got more clogged. Some servers, like ours, had to get closed off because the players wouldn't stop bothering us.

Besides that, nothing really happened. We couldn't leave- well, I could, but since the others aren't admins, they couldn't go anywhere else besides their personal home (it was closed off to others unless you were invited. Not even Prime Admins could get in without your permission). Most slept here, messed around with each other, and generally did things that would keep us busy.

Xelqua swooped into the room, gracefully gliding towards the other end of the room. He was in his admin robes with a hood over his face. How it stayed there, I have no idea, but it did. He landed in the center with three of the four Tier Argentum admins, AppleG, Hypixel, and Noobcrew. He quickly spoke with them. The silver-dressed admins nodded and took off using elytras. Xelqua walked, a path clearing like the Red Sea parting. He held his head high but not allowing people to see under his hood. He turned to look my direction. I saw the corner of his mouth twitch up for a millisecond. He looked straight again, walking out of the room with his hands behind his back.

"What was that about?" Mumbo asked, seeing what had happened. I shook my head.

"He did that at the meeting." I frowned. "I wonder what's his problem with me."
