Chapter 2. Priorities
POV: Xisumavoid
Location: Hall of Admins, Admin HeadQuarters
I looked at the chart of Admin Ranks. With a sigh, I realized that I still have a long way to go if I want to be a Prime Admin. Sure, I may be one of the eight Tier Purpura admins, but being tested for Tiers Argentum and Aurum are much more intense and difficult. Many held a lot of respect for those six people who passed those trials.
It may be true all admins are respected mo matter what rank, but the Primes are a different story. If any admins get to meet the Prime Admins though, they consider each moment a gift and a privilege. Not all admins personally have a word to two with either Prime.
And not any admin has ever spoken to one of the two Primes.
No one knows who they are. Their name, their server they play on, their clothing, their voice. No one knows their identity. The only time I've seen them was in an All-Admin meeting, with the 4376 other admins (including the Primes). They showed up covered in white robes, somehow hiding everything. Skin, hair, voice... they had a voice changer which made their voice sound like a male and female at the same time.
The only part they didn't cover were their fifteen foot wingspan of their large golden and white wings.
I walked away from the wall that held the chart, head bowed. With my hands behind my back, I started walking towards the Server Hub room. The halls of HeadQuarters are massive. They go on forever and lead to many various places. Magic of all colors (respective to the admin's rank) lit the halls. When I passed, those who were lower ranked nodded their head in respect. I nodded back and continued my way.
As I neared the Server Hub area, I heard three people arguing. One of the admins looked like a diamond block. They had a derp face on it, and their laugh was really loud. If I were to assume his Tier, he would probably be Tier Caeruleus. A person next to him was wearing black and red so I think they would be Tier Erythros. The third and final person wore all black, and his skin was grey. Probably a Tier Blakkaz. When referring or talking to lower ranks, we either use their first name or last name, or call them by their tier name.
"BaldBoyHalo, is a potato!" Tier Caeruleus chanted over and over, laughing obnoxiously. Oh, I know exactly who that is.
"Skeppy, stop! I'm not bald! Would you stop saying that?" Tier Erythros raged, yelling over the derpy diamond block.
"BaldBoyHalo, is a potato!" he said again.
"a6d, make him stop!" Tier Blakkaz shrugged.
"Bad, you and I both know we have no authority over him in HQ," a6d said, a French accent noticeable like the sun in the sky. I tried to head towards the Hermitcraft portal without attracting attention when BadBoyHalo called my name.
"Void, can you please tell Skeppy to stop?" he begged. I stopped and turned to face Skeppy, looking at him with a passive face.
"I don't think anything will stop him unless there is a threat of demotion," I casually said. Skeppy stopped suddenly, not wanting his well earned rank taken away. I raise my eyebrow in amusement. I looked back at Bad with a slight sigh.
"Halo, don't let him get you that mad. Remember, your server's state is reflected by your emotions. If you wonder why it is always in a bad state, if might be your emotions, or Tier Caeruleus is just messing your server up. Control it, Halo," I said. He nodded bashfully. I stepped into the Hermitcraft portal.
"Have a good day, you three," I said as I disappear. I reappeared in the Hermitcraft server, tripping over a shulker box that was left for me. I crashed to the floor with a loud thump. Goodness me, that would've been embarrassing if another admin saw that. I stood back up and glared at the box.
Apparently, it was left by Biffa, a Tier Rosea admin. It was telling me that Hermitcraft is ready to move on to Season VI. I shut the box, calling a server-wide meeting over the communicators.
"Alright, so the season is going to end soon. Maybe in about 2 week, at the most." The Hermits looked saddened, but they knew it was time to move on. "I know most of you are sad, but it's about time we move on. I do have good news though. We're getting a new Hermit!" Everyone looked excited that there's going to be a new Hermit. Any new member is a valid reason to be excited.
"Who is it?" Doc asked. The creeper-hybrid leaned forwards in his chair with a raised eyebrow.
"His name is Grian. I personally don't know much about him, but he was invited by Mumbo." Mumbo nodded, smiling because his friend got accepted into this server.
"Can you tell us more about him?" I ask Mumbo.
"Yeah. Um, when you first seem him, don't be fooled," he smiled with a chuckle. "He is 24 years old, even though he looks and acts like a teenager."
"How short is he?" Ren asked, clearly amused.
"He's about a foot shorter than me." Mumbo replied (about 0.3 meters).
"Don't step on him, tall ones," Scar said, a smirk on his lips. Everyone laughed. I continued talking about what's going to happen during the last days of the server, what's going to happen next season, maintenance, new rules, and statistics.
My communicator suddenly gave a loud beep. The Hermits next to me jumped up away, and everyone else flinched, clearly startled. I took it out and looked at the flashing screen.
"What is it?" Biffa asked, recognizing the screen. He didn't get that notification because it seems it only concerned the higher ranks. I froze as I read the alert.
"The unknown Prime Admin has been found falling out of the sky, unconscious and suffering from second degree burns on his shoulders." I look up from my communicator and at Biffa with horror. "Skyward is furious. She wants all of us at HQ right now."
"Who's Skyward?" False asked. I got up and clicked the screen that would teleport me directly to HQ.
"Ask Biffa," I replied as I disappear from sight, appearing in the huge meeting room with the 11 other admins. We were all either Tier Purpura or Tier Argentum, the second or third most powerful admins.
I looked around the room at the stressed admins. Hypixel's hood was down and his silver hair was messed up. He was yelling into his communicator in Galactic. I only understood part of it, and he was arguing with his staff about how he doesn't have time for whatever the problem is. AppleG from Mineplex was arguing with another admin in hushed tones. Everyone else was quietly conversing with each other, clearly stressed and confused about what's going on.
Before I could do anything, the doors were literally kicked open. Libra Skyward burst in, carrying a small form who was limp in her hands. She ran in, the doors slamming shut behind her with a loud bang. A click was heard, signaling it that it was locked. The form in Libra's hands had hair was sandy-colored and red, probably from blood. He was wearing jeans and a black hoodie, both stained with purple and red blood. His shoulders were dark with burns that were glowing a dark purple. We all immediately recognized what it was. Watcher magic. She put him on a table, laying him on his back.
"Is this what he actually looks like?" someone asked the Prime.
"No," Libra shortly replied. "I need you guys to see what's damaged. Only his appearance changed, nothing else." She moved to the other side of the table while four other admins stepped up. Libra surrounded them with a golden glow. Pure Prime Admin magic. I was never fortunate to experience some until today. It's so powerful, anyone lower than Tier Purpura would be injured. A Tier Argentum stepped back, levitating a purple and black glob of magic.
"Head and shoulders have the most damaging amounts of Watcher magic," they informed Libra. She nodded, blasting the Watcher's magic with a beam of Prime Energy, what her type of magic is called. The glob shattered into pieces, falling harmlessly to the floor. It turned to liquid when it hit the ground.
"Void, give me the book over there on that table." Libra commanded. I grabbed the book and handed it to her. She flipped through the pages, pointing and showing everyone who was trying to heal the unknown Prime Admin. He can't die, or that'll cause many problems in all of Minecraft.
I heard a bang on the door, as did everyone else. There was Watcher magic coming from the other side. I looked at Hypixel, who also detected that horrid magic. He wasn't helping the Prime Admin because he doesn't know how to do the healing magic. The specialties he has is in servers and in combat.
He and I nodded at each other as we both slowly approached the door. He unlocked it, seeing a Watcher at the door. The Watcher's hand had a dark purple magic flowing off of it. Hypixel growled and froze the Watcher with his silver magic. I sent a ball of my purple energy, banishing him into the void. He was the only Watcher around. We both slammed the door shut, shaking the room. The difference in color between my abilities and Watcher's magic, is that the color of their magic is a dark purple. Mine is light purple, like my helmet's face shield.
Everyone around the Prime Admins backed away. Skyward carried the other Prime in her arms.
"Thanks for your help, everyone. I'll call a meeting soon and explain what happened once he wakes up," she flashed away, making everyone else close their eyes. She's always been straightforward and doesn't explain much. I shrugged as everyone started talking with each other.
"Hey, what was behind the doors?" AppleG asked Hypixel and I.
"Watcher. It's gone now," Hypixel replied for me. I started walking towards the portals when I slipped and fell in the remains of the Watcher magic glob thing. Chuckles from the other admins reached my ears. With a smile, I flicked some onto them, making them jump back. They over exaggerated getting dead magic on them, some fake screeching and gasping like they were in pain. I shook my head and headed towards the Hermitcraft portal. There was dead watcher magic all over my left side. Eh, I'll clean that up later.
I appeared in the meeting room, exactly where I left. The Hermit's jumped again. Biffa looked at me with concern.
"Watcher magic?" he asked as everyone else seemedconfused. I nodded, trying to wipe the glob off of me. Of course, it wouldn't come off. I sighed in annoyance and gazed at everyone like nothing happened.
"Anyways, where were we?"
