Chapter 12. Revealed
(oh my god you guys got so mad. if you hated me for that... you guys are going to kill me after this-)
POV: Grian
Location: Hermitcraft
I gasped in pain as an arrow shot and stuck in the middle of my chest. Everyone looked at me in terror as I fell to my knees, eyes wide in panic. Mumbo and Iskall cried out, trying to reach me. Admins tried to hold them back, but they got to me after fighting them for a second or two. Head Watcher's laugh rang through the server.
"Well, little one, everyone eventually has their downfall." My eyebrows furrow as I realize he doesn't know who I am. He's been using range weapons and has stayed far away. He hasn't seen my face yet. He doesn't recognize my clothing because I was wearing diamond armor. I could use that to my advantage.
I got light headed and started to see black. My breathing slowed down... but I was determined to not die. Not now, at least.
"We don't have a medic!"
"Anyone have healing potions?!"
"Don't die, oh God, please don't die!"
"Can anyone heal? Does anyone know any healing?!"
Voices yelled over each other, getting louder and louder. I look to the side and see the edge of the cliff was closer than earlier. Mumbo and Iskall were begging me to not die on them. I push them away. I ripped the arrow out of my chest, much to everyone's horror. Yes, it hurt, but it was so I could fully heal it later.
The two other Architects try to approach me again. I kicked them away, knocking the wind out of both of them. I look at them with an apologetic look. They can't see me healing myself just yet.
I take my chestplate off, it dripping blood. I store it into my inventory. I felt my life draining quickly. I was still on the floor, sitting in a vulnerable position.
Time was ticking. I was losing blood quickly.
I put a hand to my chest, hiding it by turning away from everyone. I could heal injuries like these because we did that in training. As my hand glows, fixing the wound, I crawled to the edge of the cliff. I look back at the Head Watcher's position. I smirked and jumped off [dont do this please]. The reason I do this is because it's easier to fly if I'm falling or have a moving start.
I heard everyone panic as I fall. I slip my sweater off. This sweater wouldn't allow my wings to fully come out. It would rip the clothing if I tried. It did in the past and I learned from that mistake.
I let my wings come out of my back. My wound was completely healed. The only obvious sign that I was shot was the hole in my sweater and the faint scar I had. I pushed my wings downward, finally able to use them. They were cramping up as the fight went on. As I flew above the cliff edge, I heard gasps of surprise. I laugh at their reactions, smiling in joy as I hover slightly above everyone. I slip my the rest of my armor off. My smile quickly fades as Head Watcher approaches us, coming out of the trees. His communicator was out, flashing an angry red.
"Impossible!" Head Watcher snarled. His voice echoed through the world, making everyone flinch. He was wearing the same clothing as last time. This time his hood was down (like at the admin meeting), and he was holding a sharp diamond sword.
"Sure, Kyle. Whatever you say." I smirk back. I land on the grass, everyone moving away from me. It was a clear path between Kyle and myself. I approach him with my hands behind my back, smirking at the fear in his eyes. That fear quickly became anger as he bared his teeth at me like a wild animal.
"A thorn in my side that I'll quickly take care of." He said, flashing his diamond sword at me. I stretch my wings out, and he backed away slightly.
"You don't even have a weapon." He tried sounding confident. I step closer to him. He sneered and sliced at me. I slide my obsidian sword out of its hidden sheath, easily blocking it. My left hand was still behind my back. I dueled him with one hand, easily blocking and parrying his strikes. I back him into a tree, laughing at the priceless expression on his face. I disarmed him with ease, forcing him to drop to his knees as I put the tip of my sword under his chin. The duel was so easy and short it's not worth talking about and explaining it.
Head Watcher looked at me with an unreadable expression.
"You really don't know who you're fighting, do you?"
"Well, I mean, someone who is shirtless and just jumped off a cliff single-handedly destroyed you in a duel (quite literally too), so I would assume I'm fighting someone who was trash at sword fighting-"
"Silence, fool!" He hissed. I pressed the tip of my sword into his neck, blood dripping down his neck and staining his clothing. He was about to poof away, but I pushed a little further.
"Teleport away and I'll go into the code and remove you by hand." He froze. I pulled him up by the scruff of his neck. Approaching the group of Hermits and admins, I fold my wings, tips brushing the floor. He tried to escape my grip. I hit him with the pommel of my sword, knocking him out. He fell limp. I still dragged him with me. I stop in front of the group, dropping The Head Watcher to the ground. I noticed that the portal was just behind them. However, it was off.
Everyone was looking at me with mixed reactions. Fear, awe, confusion, and maybe a little bit of anger combined in there.
I wince as I move. There were smaller scars on my body from the fight, but besides that, nothing else. It was mostly my shoulders, as they were still tender from the Head Watcher's direct magic on them.
"Hi." I say. "Does anyone have an extra shirt of something?" Whatever they were expecting me to say, it wasn't that. Mumbo sighs, handing me a black shirt. I put the sword back into the sheath. I quickly slip the shirt on, quietly thanking Mumbo.
"So, your the other Prime Admin?" Ren asks, awed. I nod my head, making eye contact with everyone. Libra landed next to me, not saying anything. She had a few new scars on her face and her hoodie was ripped. Other than that, she was fine.
"How long?" Iskall asked.
"Since I got the rank... what do you mean?"
"Years?"
"I don't remember, it's been a long time. I'm surprised I actually managed to hide it for that long, though. I'm sorry- um, I say that a lot, don't I?" I add.
"Wait, pause for one second." Hypixel starts, stepping forward, holding his bloodied hands in a 't' position. "You, the Prime Admin, the highest ranked admin there is, second current holder of the First Tier of all Admins, apologized to me over 20 times because you accidentally fell into me earlier?"
"First of all, did you just comprehend that? And yes, I didn't want to blow my cover." Hypixel ignored my first comment.
"Dang right, I would have never guessed. Anyway, you got so red, I was about to laugh." I smirk, looking directly at Xisuma. I tilted my head up ever so slightly. He held my gaze, not saying anything. After a few moments, he looked away.
"Why do you do that?" He asked. I shrug.
"I was waiting until you figured out it was me."
"You said that you knew someone who's name was Xelqua. I thought they were two different people."
"Sorry. Forgive me for hiding it?"
"Fine, Prime Admin." I frown at him. I turned away, grabbing the Head Watcher by his clothing.
"You don't have to call me that, just Grian or Xelqua." I say. I don't really like being referred to by my titles. Xisuma clearly noticed that.
"Yes, Tier Aurum." I sigh, looking at him with a 'really?' type of expression. He smiled, not seeming that angry with me anymore. I look at the rest of the admins and Hermits. They all were beaten up quite well, but no one was injured that bad.
"Anyone got anything else to say before we go back to the Admin HeadQuarters?" Libra asked the group, speaking for the first time. I stepped next to her. Big mistake.
"Are you two together?" Doc asked, teasing us. I looked at Libra, turning red rapidly. She was also, but didn't look at me. People 'aww'ed and we didn't do anything about it. Libra sighed, a hint of annoyance in it.
"No. It's forbidden for any Prime Admin to be in a relationship like that."
"Dang it. They'd be cute together." I heard someone say. I quickly turn to Xisuma before anyone can say anything.
"Void, please unlock the server." He pressed a button, unlocking the server from it's lockdown. The portal behind us swirled to life.
"I'm sorry that your server got destroyed, Xisuma. We'll fix it when this is all over." Xisuma silently nodded. We waited until everyone else went into the portal. When the last person disappeared, I turned to Xisuma.
"Are you mad at me?" I ask him. He paused, not sure what to say.
"I'm not so sure." He slowly started. "I mean, I understand why you hid it, discomfort with the titles and everything, but you could've told me on the side or something." He held his communicator loosely. I nod.
"I understand. If you want to kick me from Hermitcraft-"
"What? No, I'd never do that." Xisuma said. "Maybe I just need some time away from everything after this 'Watcher' mess." I look down at the Watcher in my grasp. I sigh.
"Do whatever you want to do, Xisuma." I start towards the portal. Suddenly, the Watcher was free from my hold.
"Wait, Grian-!" A beam of dark purple went in front of my face. Xisuma crumpled to the ground. The communicator made it through the portal as Xisuma had thrown it. I snap my head over to my side. I was hit with the same beam Xisuma was hit with. The last thing I saw before it went black was the Head Watcher, standing to the side with a villainous grin on his face.
