The lab was entered by Dr. Kiera, who approached the Group B camp and took Subject #24, a white and black tomcat with blue eyes. Kiera sedated 24 and had to sedate #28 and #25 after they woke up.

Kiera took Subject #24 out of the dome and into the laboratory. While the cat was under sedatives, Kiera waited for the drug to dilute from its bloodstream before taking a vial (7 mL) from #24's front left arm. 

Kiera waited until the subject awakened and took it to a small room that carried several scent containers taken from #28, #25, #30, #1, and #10. The experiment (file 6.78.23) was conducted, and the results were recorded.

Subject #24 was administered a heavy sedative, then 3 mL of Vion (a short-term memory clearing drug) was entered into their bloodstream. They were replaced into the dome by Kiera.
