"Can I walk?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

"Jerk."

"Be quite, you are our prisoner." I growled. These stupid Psychic Type guards were really ticking me off. They held me with their psychic powers two inches above the ground, and I seriously wanted to move on my own accord.

"Ooh, ooh, can I skip?" And there's Delta, saying the stupidest thing she can at the moment.

"...No."

"How about hop on one leg?"

"No."

"Walk backwards?"

"No."

"Oh, I know!  What about dance walking?" Really Delta? Dance walking?

"No, just shut, you nuisance!" The guard screamed. "Gerald, just teleport us to Lady Uxie." The guard next to the one that spoke nodded, and I began to feel a... shimmer in my finger tips; on that spread up my arm like metal flying to a magnet. In a blink, I was no longer suspended in air, but instead standing in front of a magenta door in such a girly-looking purple hallway, it made me want to vomit. I bet Delta would just love her room to be  done this way.

"Lady Uxie, we have so prisoners for you to assess," A different guard said. I was expecting to hear a voice with more malice and hate in it, or at least depressed sounding, not at all like what she really sounded like.

"Bring them on in!" Uxie said through the door. I was surprised when the voice I heard was more high pitched and hyper, like a teenage girl who had spent the day snarfing Lava Cookies. With a forceful nudge from the guard behind me, I opened the door to see Uxie spinning with her hands up in a swivel chair. What. The. Mankeys.

As she stopped spinning, Uxie let out a giggle of delight. "Yeah, visitors!"  She exclaimed, too cheerily. She made me want to barf all over her obnoxious pink carpet.

"Um, these are prisoners, My Lady." Uxie's smile turned into a pout.

"Oh, phooey. And the on in blue's such a cutie!" I blushed, grimacing. The door clicked, signaling the guard's exit.

Uxie smiled... too wide for comfort. "You're so cute when you're flustered! Kawai kawai kawai!!! Oh, I just must know your name!"

"This is Elkarez, and I'm Delta," Delta said with a bit of malice. At least she's hating this, too.

"Double phooey, Inferno-Head's probably already dating him," She said, pouting and crossing her arms. I would rather have the Uxie Mom described than this one.

"No, that's- We're supposed to be your prisoners, start treating us like that!" I spewed my words as Delta copied my blush-plus-grimace from earlier.

"You shouldn't act so mean..." Uxie murmured into her hand, sniffing. She wiped away a nonexistent tear and continued. "Fine, I'll do that. So, wouldn't it be really boring to be a prisoner and just sit in a gross prison cell, with yucky food, and worse, no Wifi?" Insert feral Kricketot noises HERE. "Well, that would be totally mean, so I give my prisoners a different option. They can chose to either stay in the cell, or they can try to get through my ultra fun, super awesome, amazing, seventeen Type battle maze! So, what's your choice gonna be?" With one glance, Delta and I had the same answer ready.

"Yes."

"Yay!" Uxie exclaimed, jumping up and down and screeching out in joy. "This'll be so much fun! Oops, but I forgot the catch. Silly me." She quickly bopped the side of her head. Rayquaza, help me. "Only one of you can go through the maze, so one of you will stay here with me, and if the other makes it out, you get a free ride. Who's going in?"

Without even looking at Delta, I sighed. "I'll go..." I mumbled. I was only doing this to get away from the weirdo here.

"Good luck, and see you at the end!" Uxie clapped along to her words, and as the last syllable got out, the floor beneath me gave way, guiding me to a the ground below.

And so it begins....
