Chapter 6: Let the fights begin pt2

Inasa: that was quite match huh Yamoshi

Yamoshi: Yeah it made me realize something

Inasa: and that is?

Yamoshi:(clenching fists) watching all these different kinds of powers reminds me to not let my guard down, all this waiting getting me fired up!

As he said that Yamoshi accidentally power up a little out of excitement which sent a large shockwave shocking everyone in the waiting room except vegeta

Yamoshi: oops sorta got carried away

Inasa: don't be IM FIRED UP TOO THAT WAS AWESOME (slaps his back)

Vegeta:(that power, could he be also trying to break the super saiyan barrier if that's the case I won't let him beat me to it)

(Pan's POV)

Pan: So what do you think of the tournament so far Ruco?

Ruco: super awesome everyone here got really cool powers but I know that big brother will win!

Pan: I couldn't agree more

???: I wouldn't be so confident Pan

Pan: oh hey Bulma glad you can make it we saved a spot for you

Bulma: we would've arrived earlier but we had an emergency conference back at capsule Corp but hey better late than never

Pan: well it still amazes me that Capsule Corp is still as busy as it was all these years ago so I wouldn't blame you

Tarble: Ruco! You came back how was your trip

Ruco: it was amazing I even learned a cool trick

Tarble: I did too but I'll show you later after my brother kicks your's butt

Ruco: in your dreams my brother is the strongest!

Tarble: you can't change the facts I'm older than you by a couple of hours which means that makes me a couple of hours smarter so everything I say is the truth

Ruco: no fair you make it sound so official

Bulma: now now you two we will see who's better when the time comes by the way Pan has my Vegeta fought yet?

Pan: no, not yet by you did miss Yamoshi he was in the first match knocked some kid with a tail by a neck chop I certainly taught my grandson well

Bulma: as expected you know we aren't exactly "normal" people you know

Pan: that may be true but I'm glad that my boy is keeping up with his training

Jimmy: alrighty everyone as Present Mic is in the restroom doing god knows what I the very handsome Jimmy Firecracker will start the fourth match so if you please UA's Tenya Ida and Momo Yaoyorozu come down to the arena (damn that Larry I asked him for a sandwich an hour ago)

Momo: welp here goes nothing

Ida: (extends arm robotically for a hand shake) Yaoyorozu I am honored to be your opponent let us both try our hardest in this match

Momo: likewise (he's seems really into it)

The both of them started to walk to the arena as the crowd was ready for the next match to begin

Mina: oh look momo and ida are going to duke it out!

Jiro: pretty unusual match up who do you think is gonna win?

Kaminari: I'm not sure to be honest

Sato: I'm pretty sure it's going to be one sided Yaoyorozu's creation quirk is cool and versatile but Ida could overwhelm her with his speed

Mineta: She'll be fine (drooling at her like a madman)

Jimmy: it's seems like both fighters are ready and BEGIN!!!

Ida goes to a sprinter like position and starts to heat up his calfs while Momo creates a shield
While also forming a strategy against him

Momo: (if I let my guard down for at least a little bit he most definitely will beat me due to his quickness got to do something to make his speed be an disadvantage instead of an advantage)

Iida: alright here it goes

In a burst Iida rushes at Momo to land an attack to end the match quickly, by a hair Momo barely dodges the blow and proceeds to move to the other side of the stage while covering herself with the shield

Iida then pursuits toward her and dashes and somehow loses control and misses Momo my a mile and almost rings himself out of bounds

Iida: (what in the world happened?)

Momo: (this might just work! I just need to keep on dodging his attacks)

Inasa: oh i see, guess she's not just good looking huh

Yamoshi: yeah she's awesome, she may not look like the fighting type but she's incredibly smart not to mention her ability is pretty cool too. You think her quirk can make me a sandwich?

Inasa: uh Yamoshi I don't think you realized how bad that last part sounded

Yamoshi: (confused) huh? What do you mean by that?

Inasa: let's just leave it at that

Yamoshi: oh ok then (scratching head)

(Now back to the fight)

Iida: must've lost my footing there

Iida brushes off his pants and prepares for another attack while Momo covers herself with the shield and creates odd clear looking marbles

Momo: (if I can make as much of these as possible I can make him lose control for at least a for a bit like a car with not so good brakes and then when he loses his guard I'll push him out of bounds quickly)

Momo finished making a ton of clear marbles and rushes towards Iida to make him think she's going to attack, instead she's secretly throwing the marbles down on the stage which are hard to see on the ground and then tries to land a kick which Iida effortlessly blocks the attack while steps on the marbles causing him to lose balance which gives Momo an opening

Iida: oh no I'm done for!

Momo: nows my chance!

With all her might she rushes to Iida and pushes him with her shield

Iida:(for the sake of the Iida family name and My brother Ingenium I WON'T LOSE)

Iida:I'm not done RICEPRO BURST

as Iida starts to fall out of bounds he then forces himself up by boosting his engine with such force it makes him go up in the air

Iida: (man, who knew Yaoyorozu would be quite the opponent then again we don't train together so I don't know how she fights that well)

Iida starts to descend to the ground and notices tons of small glares on the stages

Iida: so that's how I kept on losing my balance making my movements a disadvantage

Iida then lands and smiles at momo as she is dumbfounded to why he did this

Iida: you're really incredible Yaoyorozu you really kept me off my feet literally (does a serious face)

Iida: but I'm going to win this

In a flash Iida starts running corner to corner avoiding the marbles as for Momo she having trouble keeping up with his movements

Momo: i can't...keep up

As the crowd roars in excitement at Iida's speed he then faces Momo off to give a kick which she blocks with the shield but the impact of the kick was too great it sent her flying out of bounds

Jimmy: Yaoyorozu has lost by ring out THAT MAKES IIDA THE WINNER!!!'

The crowd cheers as the match was a breath of fresh air by how much strategy Momo used to try to fight someone as skilled as Iida

Momo: guess i lost fair and square

Iida: yes but it was quite the learning experience I appreciate the lesson

Momo: no, thank you i definitely learned that I still need to keep going

She smiles and get up and they both head back to the waiting room

Aizawa: impressive both have improved so much in their own right

All might: these young heroes sure are growing fast huh (looks like the future is looking bright)

Jimmy: well folks wasn't that a neat fight huh but we are a only getting started!

Present Mic: ah sorry about that what did I miss

Jimmy: oh a very hot chick lost to a big buff nerd

Present mic: you know she's 16 right? And you just said that on the mic

Jimmy: oh.....uh Larry we were on comercial right?

Larry: nope we are still live sir

Jimmy: huh well this'll it isn't going to be my first time in jail

Present Mic: ALLLRIGHT SORRY FOR THE ABSENCE PEOPLE I HAD TO TAKE A BREAK BUT WITHOUT ANY MORE STALLING LET THE FIFTH MATCH BEGIN!!!

Present Mic: would Vegeta jr. and koji Koda please one to the arena

Vegeta: (opens eyes) it's about damn time

He begins to walk to the stage arms crossed while Koda was frozen from fear that he has to fight Vegeta of all people. He then comes to his senses and walks to the stage

present mic: ok now that Koda is here LET IT BEGIN!!!!!

Koda: even if it's Vegeta have to go all out!

Koda then uses his quirk to communicate with a couple of birds and commands them to distract vegeta. The birds rush toward Vegeta but he only stares at them which frightened them and flew off

Vegeta: is that really all you got

Koda: (I'm dead)

Vegeta: tch what a waste

Vegeta with such speed moves in front of Kota

Koda: please have mercy

Vegeta: No

(Punching machine is Koda and crowds reaction in the end)

Vegeta punches Koda in the face sending him flying to out of bounds landing on the wall

Present mic: (in disbelief ) It looks like Koda has been knocked out, Vegeta advances to the next round

Bulma: should've told him to not fight too hard

Yamoshi: he could've held back a little more

Vegeta: (walking back to waiting room) wasn't even a warm up

All Might: Young Vegeta has some spunk huh Aizawa

Aizawa: perhaps but you gotta admit he is powerful, one of the strongest in the class

All Might: yes, it actually quite frightening him and that Shiketsu kid also

Aizawa: So you also took interest in him too

All might: (nods) from the way they fight despite being only a few seconds, it almost looks like they aren't even using their quirks not to mention their quirks are somewhat similar also, I want to learn more about them

Aizawa: guess we have wait and see as this tournament progresses

(Moments later)

Yamoshi: man all this waiting is making me hungry do you know when's lunch?

Inasa: now that you mention it I'm a bit hungry too but I'm not too sure maybe you should ask the UA guys they probably know

Yamoshi: (looks over to class 1-A) hey do you guys know when's lunch?

Hagakure: I heard that it's gonna be after the quarterfinals

Yamoshi: (looks at the wall) gotcha thanks invisible girl

Hagakure: How'd you know I was here? (Oh my god he's the first boy to notice me!!)

Yamoshi: oh I knew you were there the whole time

Todoroki: but how she's not even wearing her gloves which is the only way we can tell she's here

Yamoshi: I sensed her energy that's all

Izuku: sensed her energy?

Yamoshi: (laughs) I'll explain later it's a bit complicated

Iida: something tells me that this guy isn't normal

Jimmy: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls orphans and everything else in between the preliminaries are almost wrapping up so without any further ado LETS GET THE PARTY ROLLING WITH THE SIXTH MATCH!!!

Jimmy: and it looks to be Shiketsu High's Inasa Yoarashi vs UA's Tsuyu Asui

Inasa: ALRIGHT I've been itching for a fight!

Yamoshi: yeah! That's the spirit, show them that Shiketsu High isn't playing around

Inasa: (cracks knuckles) I will

Iida: be careful Asui this guy is no slouch

Tsuyu: well I kinda figured that if these two are the only ones representing Shiketsu High they're probably going be strong *ribbit* well here goes

Both fighters begin to walk to the arena and do a fighting stance as the crowd is roaring with hype for the match to commence

Present Mic: OOOOOH YEAH both fighters are ready SO LET IT BEGIN!!!

Inasa: LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED

Inasa begins to create a large gusts of wind catching the crowd by surprise as Tsuyu is keeping her distance

He then focuses the wind to his hand creating spheres of wind and throws them at tsuyu which she dodges due to her agility then she starts to leap from side to side and goes behind Inasa and kicks him in the back with her powerful frog legs

Inasa: you're fast I'll give that but CAN DODGE THESE

With a crazy smile on his face he sends even more winds spheres at her faster than before this time they explode releasing wind when it hits the ground. The spheres are starting to overwhelm Tsuyu as she gets hit by them like a pinball machine. She then finds some time to recover and with no time to think she uses her tongue to grab Inasa's leg and flings him to try and ring him out

However he catches himself by hovering around his wind before falling to the ground

Inasa: ok i might've let my guard down a bit there But I'd say let's finish this!

Tsuyu nodded in agreement and started to move more quickly than ever while Inasa studies her moves and keeping her distance

Inasa:(if I'm right then she's about to make her move right about now)

Seconds later she unleashes a barrage of kicks and steps back uses her tongue once more, Inasa barley blocking the kicks then steps back and evades the extended tongue and makes his move

Inasa: NOW I GOT YOU!

He puts his fists together and releases a medium sized tornado at her tongue getting caught with the wind spinning her around. Inasa then pulls his fists apart dispersing the tornado causing Tsuyu to ring out

Inasa: I call that "exploding cyclone" (tips hat)

Jimmy: wow talk about being "blown away"  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Present mic: Asui is out of bounds this makes Yoarashi the winner by ring out!!

Inasa walks over to Tsuyu like a soldier witch his eyes strangely far opened

Inasa: (yelling) I.... Am....so.....sorry about that allow me to lend you a hand

Tsuyu: thank you but you don't have to apologize for it

Inasa: (still yelling) I just wanted to make sure you weren't hurt that badly

Tsuyu: at least you're caring but you're also really loud *ribbit*

Both went back to waiting room to their respective areas

Yamoshi: nice going man I didn't know you mastered your exploding cyclone

Inasa: Yeah I did those training sessions in class really helped but that's not all

Yamoshi: woah what's with serious face?

Inasa: I realized couple weeks back that in order for me to be the best hero I can be is to study a lot, thanks by the way for helping with that but also I have to climb top and prove to others that I am capable, and that means I have have to beat the competition more specifically you

Yamoshi was sorta shocked to hear this but he continued on listening to what his friend had to say

Inasa: we are good friends Yamoshi but I consider you my rival and I'll do whatever it takes to surpass you and this tournament proves otherwise

Yamoshi: I understand completely my friend but I ain't going to let you beat me that easily so you better bring your A-game (man first Vegeta and now him but no matter, I'll prove to them by aiming to the top and training my heart out so I can try to become as great as grandpa Goku was!)

Inasa: glad we can agree and sorry for being all serious I had to get it out there

Yamoshi: oh you're good man Sounded pretty important

Present Mic: alright folks it's time for the seventh match up for the preliminaries and it appears to be Ochako Uraraka vs Shoto Todoroki

Yamoshi: hold up why does that name sound so familiar

Yamoshi starts to think so hard that steam is coming off his head and then he remembers a memory from when he used to live in the city at the age of 5

(Flashback)

9am Yamoshi's old neighborhood

Yamoshi: heee....hoooo......heeeee..hoooo

The young saiyan was running around the block for the past 2 hours with a box of milk that was about half his size and as he was running he comes across a young ochako

Ochako: hey Yamoshi!

Yamoshi: (breathing heavily) oh hi ochako! how are you doing

Ochako: I'm doing good but what are you doing with that big box of milk?

Yamoshi: I took all the Milks from my fridge  and started to train with them

Ochako: does your grandma know that you took all the milk?

Yamoshi: well no but she's still still asleep so I can probably make it back before she wakes up

Ochako: you should probably do that right now you look like you're about to pass out

Yamoshi: what no way This is nothing. I have to get super duper strong so I can be as cool as my great great  grandpa and protect my grandma when I'm older! Plus you want to get stronger too right so how about Tomorrow we train together so we both super strong together

Ochako: Yeah!

Yamoshi: ( lifts arms up) Alrig....

Yamoshi accidentally drops the box of milk and spills it everywhere as his eyes and mouth fully widen

Yamoshi: (high pitched voice) MY MILK GRANDMA IS GONNA SPANK ME!!!

ochako: (laughs) you're such a goofball

(Flashback ends)

Yamoshi: man it's been that long huh, I should've told her that moved (laughs)

Inasa: you alright you sorta dosed off a bit

Yamoshi: yeah, just remembered that girl is a old friend of mine and I didn't tell her I moved and probably thought that I died or something

Inasa: why do you make it sound like it's normal thing and you probably talk to her she might've thought something bad happened to you

Yamoshi: ohh I should huh

Inasa: Oh yamoshi your brain makes me refuse to believe that you're a straight A student

As yamoshi was having a flashback Uraraka and Todoroki have already started the match as Todoroki is creating giant ice chunks as Uraraka is trying her best to dodge

Todoroki: I already told you I wasn't going to go easy on you Uraraka

Ochako: I know that's why I'm giving it all I got

She them uses her quirk on parts of ice shards that were broken and throws them at him but he then effortlessly melts them with his fire

Ochako: (darn I'm backed to a corner what would Deku or even Yamoshi do if they were in this spot)

Todoroki then unleashes one final wave of ice to finish the job but Ochako then makes herself float trying to get his attention. He then reacts by using his fire cutting a massive chunk of ice which gave ochako an idea

She touches the chunk making it weightless will all her might she throws it as hard as she could at Todoroki. In shock he manages to evade the speeding ice chunk which caused a smoke screen he takes this opportunity to get her by surprise

Todoroki: she's tough I'll give her that

A large fire blast suddenly comes out of the smoke Ochako had no time to react and comes contact with it knocking her out of bounds

Jimmy: Talk about flashy! Todoroki advances to the next round!!!

Ochako: oh well I least I tried, I mean I was up against Todoroki so I should known that I was gonna lose

She picked herself up and headed back to the waiting room as she arrived her classmates were there to cheer her up

Iida: that was a fine showing you did there

Izuku: yeah you were amazing

Asui: yeah, you did awesome!

Ochako: aww thanks you guys

Ochako sees Yamoshi from the other side of the room giving her a warm smile and a thumbs up to show her that he was proud of her

Her eyes opened wide as she couldn't believe what she was seeing she couldn't help but to smile back at him as she was so happy to see that her long time friend smiling at her once again

Present Mic: OOOOOOOHHHHH YEAHHHHH FOLKS WE ARE FINALLY AT THE 8TH AND FINAL MATCH OF THE PRELIMINARIES!!!

Present mic: and our last batch of competitors are katsuki Bakugo vs Toru Hagakure

Bakugo: heh they saved the best for last

Kirishima: keep telling yourself that hot head

Bakugo: what was that porcupine hair

Kirishima: (laughs) nothing hurry up and go they don't got all day ya know

Bakugo then growls at Kirishima and heads to the arena

Kirshima: (standing proud) that was a manly burn huh Vegeta

Vegeta: leave me out of this

Jimmy: ok now that Bakugo is here and the other one I think the match may begin!!!

Hagakure: now Bakugo I think first we should set some boundaries before we start our mat—

Bakugo: DIEEEEEEE!!!!

A massive explosion erupted as bakugo blasted Hagaure face first he thought as the smoke cleared all he heard was loud thump on the ground and two gloves on the ground also as the crowd was unsure what happened since they didn't see another person besides bakugo

Present mic: (scratching head) umm bakugo advances to the next round

Bakugo: heheh I'm the hype

Vegeta: oh I'm going to kill him

Narrator: and so the preliminaries have come to an end but the it's not over yet as the quarterfinals are is beginning next time

And that concludes this chapter of the story sorry this took way too long to post I've been really busy those past few weeks and Dokkan battle's 5th anniversary kept me busy too the in the last week to the point where I almost forgot about the story lol. I've also been doing some drawings for important events of the story so the story feels unique instead of reusing screenshots of both shows all the time but don't worry the next chapter will come way faster than his one did since I got more free time now so that all I got to say stay safe out there cuz the worlds gone wack and I'll catch y'all next time
