Chapter 4 : The Tournament begins

(Tuesday night day before the tournament)

Yamoshi: cmon I know I left it somewhere

Yamoshi was in his house resting before the tournament while looking for something he lost until a small book fell and hit his head

Yamoshi: ouch what was that? (Grabs book)

Yamoshi: oh wow it's a small photo book I made from 8 years ago man I feel old

As he looks through the book he sees all the adventures he has gone through as a child

Yamoshi: (chuckles) oh yeah I remember that day, I found a giant worm and showed it to vegeta boy he was scared out of his mind!

He then turns the page and his eyes open

Yamoshi: Man has it really been 8 years since then huh wow time sure does go by fast

The picture that Yamoshi was seeing was a picture of him as kid, his grandma Pan and right next to her was a bald old man wearing red shades, a turtle shell on his back and sandals. In a beach in which behind them was a small pink house that said "Kame House" on it, Yamoshi then looks up in the ceiling remembering his time with his Master

(Flashback 8 years ago)

Yamoshi: HAYAHHH!!!!

Yamoshi was on the beach practicing his form and movements that he learned from the teachings of the  legendary Master Roshi as he and Pan were watching him at a distance

Roshi: atta boy that's it!

Pan: look how my boy has grown he's already learned all your teachings despite him having trouble at first, seems the turtle was hasn't been out of style after all these year huh Roshi

Roshi: look at him there's no doubt that he's Goku's great great grandson  he has the same enthusiasm and dedication he had when he and Krillin first trained under me

After Roshi said that he felt a sharp pain in his body and coughed a little and had a serious face

Yamoshi: grandma, master how as what!

Roshi: it was amazing Yamoshi you've improved so much since you started you managed to master all my teachings in a matter of months you'll going to be a fine fighter

Pan: Roshi is there something wrong?

Roshi: .... Yamoshi but on the turtle shell and swim 100 meters and back

Yamoshi: but I did that not that long ago

Roshi: no buts your grandpa wouldn't had complain now would he

Yamoshi: oh man (puts on shell and starts to swim)

Pan: Roshi?

Roshi: Pan looks like I don't have that much time left

Pan: What?! But didn't you had like 1000 years left due to the Paradise herb?

Roshi: well seems if I've miscalculated on that hehehe but anyway I've lived a long life had many adventures think it's time for this old prune to kick the bucket

Pan: but what about Yamoshi he's going to be not happy to see you go he's always said that he's always excited to see you and he still thinks you lots to teach him

Roshi: Yamoshi will do fine I've already done my part This new generation is really something else the earth is in safe hands

Yamoshi swims back and meets up with Roshi and Pan

Yamoshi: I did it master!

Roshi: geez that was your fastest yet you're just full of surprises aren't ya

Pan: now Yamoshi it's time for us to go home now

Yamoshi: ok see ya master Roshi

Roshi: ok see you too my boy (in the next life that is)

As pan and yamoshi began to leave Roshi puts his hand on his chest and fell to the ground while Pan and Yamoshi turn around

Both: MASTER ROSHI!

Roshi: Gah! (Begins to cough more)

Yamoshi:master are you all right?

Roshi: (grabs his hand) it seems that my time is up my boy

Yamoshi: (begins to cry) No don't say that you're just sick that's all master please hang in there

Roshi: (his classic laugh) Yamoshi it's ok I've lived a long life and meeting your grandpa Goku was the best thing to ever happen to me I've had many great adventures with him and he'd be proud of how strong you've become and this age

Yamoshi: (crying) no I'm not strong enough I've still have a lot to learn from you please don't go Master!

Roshi: (smiles) the only thing to remember is to....Move well.... study well,..... play well,....eat well..... rest well...., th-that's the Turtle Hermit way (closes his eyes and passes away)

Yamoshi: MASTER DONT LEAVE US

As Roshi passed both pan and yamoshi cried for a moment until Pan told him it was time to go

Yamoshi: (wiping his tears) o-ok

They began to enter their flying aircraft and headed home which Yamoshi was quite during the whole ride

(Flashback ends)

Yamoshi: (still looking up) even though grandma and Bulma helped me start to train he was my first ever teacher and helped me expand my knowledge in martial arts and made me fell in love with it. sure his ways were kinda odd and he was a wacky guy but he knew what he was doing and dedicated to his work and I respect him for it hope you're doing good up in other world master rest easy

Yamoshi then hears sound of Pan's aircraft she has came back from picking someone up

Yamoshi: so he came back huh it actually feels quite awhile since I seen him

Yamoshi puts the book in the cabinet and runs to the door

Yamoshi: hey sport welcome back been awhile

???: hey big brother it was huh?

The little boy was wearing a black shirt with brown shorts and had spiky black hair resembling his grandpa gohan look like back in the cell games and was around 5 years old

Yamoshi: sure was Ruco how was your school trip to paradiseLand in Greece

Ruco: OH it was soo much fun they had dragons and wizards and stuff  and lots of rides

Yamoshi: (in disbelief) what really no fair hey grandma how come I didn't continue public school heck he still doesn't know how to fly when I knew when I was like 2

Ruco: hey not fair you still haven't taught me how to fly yet!

Yamoshi: huh? You turn super saiyan when you called me on the phone earlier but you still haven't figured out how to fly man you're doing it all backwards little bro (does the classic goku laugh)

Pan: now now you two should be going to bed it's getting late especially you Yamoshi you gotta be ready for your tournament tomorrow

Yamoshi: oh right I should huh

Ruco: yeah i can't wait to see you fight tomorrow and kick Tarble's brother's butt!

Yamoshi: yeah I can't wait either!

(The next day)

Pan: alrighty you ready dear

Yamoshi: yep just need to put on my uniform

Yamoshi went to his room to put on his school uniform And then they headed to the arena complex where the tournament is taking place

(Timeskip)

Yamoshi: HOLY CRAP THIS PLACE IS HUGE!

Pan: well it's big but the world tournament stage is a bit bigger

Ruco: I've never been to a place like this

Pan: well Yamoshi this is where we part ways we'll be watching you from the audience and go make your grandma PROUD!

Ruco: yea big brother you're IN IT TO WIN IT!

Yamoshi: (smiles excitedly) will do wish me luck! (Starts to walk away)

As yamoshi walks into the crowd trying to find his class until someone calls out for his name wearing the same uniform as him

???:  HEY YAMOSHI OVER HERE

Yamoshi: oh hey Inasa Glad to see you

Inasa: watcha doing over here our class is over this side

Yamoshi: well I just got here so I didn't know (rubbing the back of his head)

Inasa: well what are we waiting for let's head over there!

Yamoshi: right!

The two began to walk to where the rest of their school representatives were at and Inasa began to make small talk to Yamoshi:

Inasa: well how's Shiketsu high's strongest been doing?

Yamoshi: Shiketsu High's strongest who's that?

Inasa: well you of course!

Yamoshi: me? Who's been calling me that?

Inasa: well pretty much everyone at school has Especially the principal

Yamoshi: really?! Why would they call me that

Inasa: well all the students and teachers including me have be saying that you and your quirk is really freaking amazing and you are just a first year and yet you are probably stronger than all of all the students and teachers at school!

Yamoshi: huh is that so (crap baskets have I shown too much I mean I tried to hold back as much as I can)

Inasa: yeah that's why I want to be like you one day I want to get as strong as you also you are an awesome friend and person to talk too and you're like the only person I know who plays that gacha game that I play and I thought I was the only nerd that played it!

Yamoshi: OH yeah that reminds me what did you pull on the new banner!

Inasa: I got lucky and got the new unit in my first multi

Yamoshi: lucky, I had terrible luck I might summon again

Inasa: hope you get good luck next time anyways we are here

As they arrived the Principal squealed like a girl to see Yamoshi

Principal: OH THANK GOD HES HERE YAMOSHI GLAD YOU CAN MAKE IT!

Yamoshi: good to see you too principal (in a confused manner)

Camie: oh so this is the hottie I've been hearing about hi I'm Camie

Yamoshi: uh Camie we met in the first day of school remember?

Camie: Oh yeah right I gave you my number that day since you looked super hot

Yamoshi: but it was cold that day? Also Inasa is it me or is she acting normal again?

Inasa: yea she must've been sick when we were at the provisional licensing exam so that's a relief

Seiji: anyway yamoshi glad you can make it

Yamoshi: glad to be here I wouldn't miss something that involves fighting

Seiji: good, as expected from Shiketsu high's strongest

Yamoshi: hey Seiji where's the rest of our class?

Seiji: there're not here it's just you two

Yamoshi: What?! There're not here? Inasa do you know anything about this?

Inasa: no i didn't know either I was wondering that too

Yamoshi: did they get sick or something

Seiji: No, apparently their parents except you two excused them from participating for some unknown reason that's also why the principal and your teacher were freaking out since we thought Inasa was the only one here but now that you're here we have a better chance at winning since you two are the best of the best for first years

Inasa: Well you hear that Yamoshi: looks like we gotta carry the pride of Shiketsu High on our backs LETS SHOW THOSE CLASS 1-A STUDENTS WHAT WE ARE MADE OF!!

Yamoshi: hehe guess you're right (cracks his knuckles) there's no way I'm backing down just cause we are at a disadvantage on numbers (still it's a bit fishy why they're all excused they were excited about the tournament a week ago when I last saw them but guess I can't worry about it now I have to focus on winning the tournament)

Yamoshi: so do you know when the tournament starts?

Seiji: well they are still preparing things and UA hasn't arrived yet so I'm guessing it won't start for quite awhile

Yamoshi: gotcha guess we're going to be here for awhile then

(30 minutes later Class 1-A POV)

Izuku: oh wow it looks just like the Sports festival!

Kirishima: this place is pretty manly huh Vegeta

Vegeta: hmph (crossing his arms)

Kirishima: hey you don't have to be so serious this tournament is just for fun isn't it Mr. Aizawa?

Aizawa: Yes, it is a friendly competition for both schools but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take it so lightly

Mina: I'm so excited can't wait to do this

Mineta: wonder what hot babes they have

Jiro: don't you gotta be a perv somewhere else?

Mineta: not until 4

Ochako: wonder who our opponents are?

Bakugo: it doesn't matter who they are once I crush those bugs

Vegeta:(well said dumbass took the words right out of my mouth)

Ida: hey you can't just call them bugs you'll make us look bad

Bakugo: whatever four eyes

All Might: how are you feeling Young Midoriya?

Izuku: I'm feeling good little nervous but good

All Might: don't be you got more control of one for all since the sports festival you'll should do way better than you did then just keep your mind focused

Izuku: right thanks All Might

Tsuyu: ribbit isn't that Shiketsu High over there (as she points to them)

Aizawa: it is them strange they don't have many students with them and most of them are just representatives wonder why

Todoroki: that guy that's next to Inasa he looks pretty strong

Izuku: yeah your right something tells me that he's their top student or something

Mina: yeah and he's hot too

Momo: whoever he is we better watch out for him

Yamoshi turns around to talk to one of his teachers and reveals his back side to 1-A

Mineta: hey look doesn't he have a tail hanging underneath his coat?

Kaminari: yeah it looks exactly like vegetas

As the commotion continues Ochako looks up and sees the young saiyan in disbelief

Ochako: ( no way it can't be is it really him)

Yamoshi then turns back around as he just noticed that class 1-A has arrived and sees vegeta on the distance and wanted to pay his rival a visit

Yamoshi: hey Inasa could you excuse me for a sec

Inasa: sure go ahead man

Yamoshi thanks him and starts to walk toward vegeta and the rest of the class

Yamoshi: Yo

Vegeta: hmph took you long enough to come over here

Class 1-A: HE SMILED?!

Vegeta: so what brings u here clown

Yamoshi: oh you know came here to talk to my best buddy we're best buddies right vegeta?

Vegeta: Fuck off

Yamoshi: the best, (in a serious voice) actually I'm here to tell you that let's give it our all in this tournament

Vegeta: oh is that so I wouldn't say that if I were you unless you want to be crushed into a pile of dust that is

Yamoshi: hehe your not the only one who's been training hard Vegeta but it is about time for us to settle the score

Vegeta: agreed, i can't wait beat you to a pulp so I can finally prove that I'm better than you

Yamoshi: we'll see about that

Kaminari: is it me or has this gone 0 to 100 real quick

The whole class nods in agreement except Bakugo, Todoroki, and Tokoyami

Yamoshi: (back to his normal voice) welp then its settled by the way aren't you going to introduce me to your friends vegeta?

Vegeta: like i care

Yamoshi: typical Vegeta you haven't changed since we were kids Fine I'll introduce myself

Yamoshi: Sup class 1-A guys the names Son Yamoshi but you can just call me Yamoshi I've heard a lot of great things about you in the news with all those villian attacks so it must mean you guys are really strong ( moves his arms in excitement) can't wait to fight you guys

Kirishima: well Yamoshi the names Enjiro Kirishima you seem like a pretty cool dude

Yamoshi: likewise (shakes his hand)

As he was shaking kirishima's hand inasa called him over to come back

Yamoshi: well I gotta go but it was nice meeting ya class 1-A hope we can talk again soon see ya

yamoshi fully turned and walked away

Mina: oh wow he looked hotter in person

Tsuyu: he's really nice and very easygoing

Momo: not to mention carefree and naive it's kinda adorable

Kaminari: I just met the dude and I feel like I've know him for years from the way he talks and acts

Kirishima: yea and the way him and vegeta stared down at each other it was so manly it was like watching an episode of old school WWE

Izuku: yeah what was that all about  vegeta is he your enemy or your friend?

Vegeta:(annoyed voice) tch, if you want to know that badly, he's a friend of mine we've known each other since We were like 2 we always hanged out after school everyday to spar even to this day but importantly he's my rival

All: YOUR RIVAL?!

As they were shocked to the info vegeta unveiled an announcement was made in the intercom 

All participants meet with Present Mic In the meeting hall

Every student walked to the meeting room to see present mic and a special guest to hear a word from them

Present mic: ALL RIGHT BOYS AND GIRLS HOW ARE Y'ALL DOING

students: good

Present mic: THATS GOOD TO KNOW we are here to say due to the mystery of most of the Shiketsu students being excused from the tournament for some odd reason we had to change some things in the tournament

Kaminari: what? Most of them got excused but why?

Bakugo: they must've gotten scared knowing that I would be here

Present mic: anyway with that Class 1-A will have to take a pop quiz and the 14 UA students with the highest score will be qualified to enter the tournament

Izuku: a pop quiz did not expect that

Present mic: now the quiz is being passed out by my co announcer

Yamoshi: holy crap it's Jimmy Firecracker from ZTV!

Jimmy: your GOD DAMN RIGHT it's me kid nothing's better to make profit off of kids beating the living shit off each other

present mic: NOW THATS THE TYPE OF ENGERY I NEED Except for that last part

(Timeskip)

Present mic: and the results are in I will know say the names of who are qualified for the tournament and those names are in no particular order:

Kaminari: yeah I knew I wasn't going to participate after I saw the first question

Mina: yea me too it was really hard

Mineta: I'm actually fine I don't get to fight don't wanna ruin my beautiful face so I can get some hot girls

Jiro: wait how did Aoyama passed

Aoyama: can't you see my beauty made me pass

Inasa: good thing we didn't had to take it huh Yamoshi

Yamoshi: yea seemed that quiz was top notch even the ones that made it barley passed

Present mic: now that we have 16 participants we will get the order set up go ahead and change into your costumes locker rooms are down to your left and come back so we can tell you where the waiting room is at

Yamoshi: um present mic sir I lost my hero costume is it ok if I wear my training outfit instead?

Present mic: knock yourself out kid

Yamoshi: sweet!

All the participants headed in the locker rooms the rest were led to special seats a VIP area where students and representatives of both schools can sit and watch the matches

As for the contestants they have their own waiting room for them to warm up or do anything to prepare. it had a long hall way which led to the ring whenever it's time for them to fight

Yamoshi and Inasa were the first ones to come out of the locker room they walked back to wear Present Mic and The WT announcer were

Inasa: hey Yamoshi where's your hero costume?

Yamoshi: I lost it I was trying to find it yesterday but no luck so I'm using my training Gi It's based off of my great great grandpa used to wear when he was a kid

Inasa: Ah I see so it's very special to you also you're still using that headband?

Yamoshi: yep my grandma gave it to me when I was little and I always used it when I....huh?!

(His reaction)

Yamoshi looks in confusion as the girl contestants of UA walk out and look at him in awe due to looking at his muscular body

Hagakure: That guy is super hot I hope he notices me!

(Back to yamoshi and Inasa)

Inasa: I wouldn't blame them

Yamoshi: what do you mean?

Inasa: Have seen yourself in the mirror You're ripped like what type of workouts do you do lift semi trucks?!

Yamoshi:oh you know the usual (inasa my friend you have no idea)

After that the rest of the contestants got out of the locker room and walked toward yamoshi and inasa were at

Kirishima: Man first vegeta and now you, dude you guys are jacked we gotta workout together sometime I gotta learn your secrets

Yamoshi: that's actually sounds like good idea we should Inasa your in too right?

Inasa: HELL YEAH I AM nothing is better than pumping iron with the boys

Kirishima: well spoken taking like a REAL MAN

vegeta: i see your using the outfit your grandpa used Yamoshi

Yamoshi: hey your wearing your grandpas training outfit too what happened to your hero costume

Vegeta: they're making me a new one since my other one got destroyed

Yamoshi: no fair vegeta you've been fighting strong villains without me

Vegeta: as if I need help from a Buffon like you

Bakugo:(that's a good one better right some of these down so I can use them on Deku later)

Izuku: uh Kacchan what are you mumbling about?

bakugo: SHUT IT NERD

izuku: (frightened) R..Right sorry

Jimmy: oh good you guys are back first thing is that we finished up who will fight who but it will be a secret to you guys to keep it a bit more suspenseful.I will also explain to the rules of the tournament, there are three ways to win 1 by knockout, 2 forcing your opponent out of bounds or 3 if your opponent forfeits the match, no out side help like a supplement or equipment that is not apart of your costume, also if any fight goes out of hand there will be pro heroes on the side lines to stop it like Mr. Aizawa for example and the most important rule NO KILLING if you purposely or accidentally kill your opponent you will be disqualified and be sent to jail for murder and with all that said any questions?

Izuku: actually...

Jimmy: ok no questions let's get this show on the road please proceed in the waiting room in the right

All the contestants all proceeded to walk in the waiting room with yamoshi smiling getting excited that it's now finally starting

Yamoshi:(oh yeah it's finally coming to together)

There you have it sorry if this chapter was very long and dragged on in a few parts I just wanted to focus on character interaction, the next chapter I will probably make it shorter and faster paced by anyways for those who made it this far thank you so much for reading and as always I'll catch y'all next time!
