Chapter 18: Sparks of Battle

The next day

Flying across the sky Yamoshi and Vegeta were heading to Kami's lookout to begin their long awaited work studies as they were talking amongst themselves

Yamoshi: Don't you find it weird that Dende made a hero Agency

Vegeta: well yeah but why would he go out of his way to do that, if he needed us that badly could've just told us normally

Yamoshi: that's true, makes me wonder why. Wait now that I think about it, you haven't been at the lookout in a longtime huh

Vegeta: it's only been 6 years what about it

Yamoshi: well they always tell me when are you gonna drop by especially Popo

Vegeta: tch to be honest I've always found him weird

Yamoshi: Really? But he's such a nice person though

Vegeta: only a naive idiot like you would say that

Not soon after they see the lookout from a distance as they flew faster toward it. When they were getting closer they began to see Dende, Popo, and Korin standing there waiting for them

Yamoshi: woah Mr. Korin's there too

They land with Yamoshi fixing his tie being stuck in his uniform along with Vegeta crossing his arms as they greeted them

Korin: Morning Boys it's been quite a while since I last saw you

Yamoshi: (bowing down) it's always a pleasure seeing you Mr. Korin

Vegeta: likewise

Popo: oh well look who finally showed up always nice to see you Vegeta

Vegeta:(sigh) Hello Mr. Popo how are you doing today

Popo: I'm doing just fine (coughs) (maggot)

Vegeta: what was that

Popo: nothing

Dende: We're glad you made it please come inside we have lots to discuss

suddenly the mood shifted when they struck a serious look on their faces, Yamoshi and Vegeta looked at each other for a moment then proceeded to follow them inside the Lookout.

They entered Yamoshi eyes widen upon seeing the person in the room

Yamoshi: wait I'm I seeing things Mr. Hasashi?!

Hanzo: surprised to see me here Yamoshi

Yamoshi: wait what's going on Dende why's my home room teacher here?

Dende: it's a bit of a long story we'll explain later first things first have you two been noticing anything strange going on the past few weeks

Vegeta: now that you mention it yeah there's been all sorts of unusual energy every now and then

Yamoshi: yep, I should mention too that I met a strange guy back at the tournament

Hanzo: strange how

Yamoshi: he was all covered up to the point where I can't even see his face properly except his glasses and to top it all off his Ki felt weird it was nothing that I ever felt before, I can't explain it but it felt like negative energy or something

Dende: (they're back ), ok listen closely there's a lot to unfold. Do you mind if you start things out Korin

Korin: no problem

The small old cat walks forward and licks his paw while holding his wooden stick before he begins to talk

Korin: alright let's see here for background everything began to get weird probably around when Goku and Vegeta were alive after the whole Granola and OG-73 debacle. As you may know from the stories your grandmother and Mother told about how the Multiverse works along with the role of Supreme Kais

Yamoshi: oh yeah! what about them?

Korin: like the Yin and Yang we found out back then that there are beings out there that are the complete opposite, Supreme kais that are rouged, evil to the core and hold tremendous power

Vegeta: wait Evil Supreme kais?

Korin: Yes, they're more known as Demon Supreme Kais or Makaiōshin and like normal Supreme Kais they patrol and look over a fairly dangerous part of the universe the Demon Realm.

Dende: we know very little of the demon Realm other than it's located at the very tip of the universe in a plane that is not a part of the living or Other World along with the many planets and innocent lives that perished in cold blood by them

Yamoshi: (in a serious way) wait demon realm... There was one time Grandma said that my grandpa Gohan fought a guy named Dabura who was supposedly the king of that place is that the same place we're talking about

Dende: yes and Dabura was in fact once the king of the demon Realm but he was killed at the hands of Majin Buu long ago.

Dende: Unfortunately as time went on we came to know that there are more rulers other than Dabura who are far more powerful, beings that want nothing more than destruction and most of all, the expansion of the Demon Realm.

Vegeta: so have these Makaiō or whatever done anything else since then

Dende: back then they seemed to keep things under wraps but in the last 6 years they've been very active especially on earth

Yamoshi/Vegeta: what?!

Yamoshi: here on earth but why?

Hanzo: thank you Dende But I will take the rest from here since I've been through it all

Yamoshi looked at Hanzo confused upon hearing his comment he was about to speak but decided not to and continued to listen

Hanzo: like Dende said 6 years ago things begin to get dicey with demon Supreme Kais running around and for us heroes we had our hands full with Villain activity at a all time high fueled by the infamous All for One

Yamoshi: All for One you mean that guy that All Might fought not that long ago

Hanzo: the very one back then and even now he was blood thirsty though I'm not sure what his true motives are im guessing he wants to be a sentiment being of some kind

Hanzo: to make matters worse along with his lust for domination in society he was willing to do anything to obtain absolute control, then one day he found a strange artifact in a place of ruins that gave him a connection with someone acquainted to the demon realm Dabura's sister Towa, and at first she ne-

Yamoshi: you're kidding, He's got a sister?! grandma never told me this and she usually tells me everything

Yamoshi kept on rambling about random stuff about his grandma until Vegeta got annoyed and hit Yamoshi in the head and started to yell at him

Vegeta: SHUT UP AND LET HIM FINISH YOU DOLT!

Yamoshi: (covers his mouth) oh right sorry

Hanzo: as I was saying she never intended to work with him since there was never a reason to until she realized that humans recently acquired quirks which a decent amount of energy and a certain group of people with tremendous amount of pure energy were still up and about. she knew this an opportunity to strengthen her latest creation Mira and with All for One's ability to steal quirks she agreed to aid him with his plan if he agreed to give her what she needed to funnel out her plan

Hanzo: couple of days later she and Mira arrived with their henchmen caused havoc, cities destroyed, millions of innocent lives lost, families separated due to loved ones being lost or killed in the process

Hanzo's voice was shaky if it was hard for him to say the last part Yamoshi and Vegeta felt that something must've happened to him back then

Hanzo: while All might was handling All For One and evacuating citizens from harms way me and two other warriors that I was close friends with dealt with Towa and Mira it was a dire battle I was only in the way while they did most of the battle in the end we barley won......at the cost of my comrades dying in the process sacrificing themselves to defeat them. After that things calmed down until now

Hanzo: with all these anomalies I'm certain they're back, (sighs) first my students go missing and now this it's as if every problem is toppling on each other like a game of Jenga

Vegeta: so what now

Dende: that's where you two come in

Hanzo: we can't fight this battle alone we're gonna need your help you're gonna have to get stronger than you are now and if I'm being honest the current level you're at now it won't be enough to beat them

Vegeta: is that so well them I'll just have to show those Freaky Alien Genotypes the might of the heir of the prince of saiyans

Yamoshi: (cracks knuckles) yeah, I'll get stronger so something like that won't happen again

Hanzo: glad you're on the same page then it's settled we'll begin training tomorrow morning we can't exactly do it right now we have to do some patrolling for your work studies right now

Vegeta: then what are we waiting for let's get it over with I don't exactly like waiting

Dende: we're counting on you

Yamoshi: leave it to us Dende!

Hanzo: alright let's go

( 4 long hours of patrolling later)

8:30 pm

After a long day of patrolling around the city Yamoshi, Vegeta and Hanzo returned back at the lookout the two saiyans got hungry and agreed for some pizza Popo asked Vegeta to go get it but didn't want to and told Yamoshi to do it but he didn't want to do it either. The two settle it in a game of Rock Paper Scissors which vegeta won

Vegeta: HA beat it loser

Yamoshi: ah man he got me

Yamoshi then put on his casual clothes which consisted of a long sleeve shirt with some black sweatpants as he took off in the night sky looking for some pizza

(Couple of minutes later)

Cashier: would you like to donate to our fundraiser it's for the children

Yamoshi: nah I'm good I just want the pizza

Cashier: ok asshole that would be 10.99

Yamoshi pulled a shocked and confused look on his face with the cashier's comment

Yamoshi: uh sure here you go ( what did I do wrong?!)

He gave the money to the angry cashier and she gave him his pizza and breadsticks and walk out of the pizza place

Yamoshi: oh boy I can't wait to dig into this pizza it's gonna be so yummy

As he was about take flight he sees a Man wearing a beak-like mask with a strange energy to him walking with a little girl in a darker part of the street. He curiously looks as he felt a bit off by the man

Yamoshi: huh that's weird would would a guy take his daughter for a walk at this hour

The man and the girl stop at a light post where yamoshi can now see them more clearly the little girl had light blue hair with big red eyes and a horn on her head. The thing that concerned him the most was the bandages on her arms and her expression on her face in which she looked terrible

Yamoshi: wait a minute somethings not right not only that look on her face I can sense she's filled with fear

Soon after the man took the girl into an alley way with Yamoshi followed suit

Yamoshi: hey what are yo- huh?!

Yamoshi entered the alley wait only to find the man and girl were gone with a little bit of black electricity on the ground

Yamoshi: I better hope that I'm imagining things cuz I don't have good feeling about that especially for that little girl I'll look into it more later

The next morning

Hanzo: ok first things first I gotta see where you're at so I want you to come at me at the same time

Yamoshi and Vegeta look at him with shock they couldn't believe what they heard with popo and Dende watching from a distance

Popo: does Hanzo really know what he's doing

Dende: he'll be fine he did spared with their Fathers so I'm sure he knows what he's up against

Yamoshi: uh you sure about that I don't think that's fair

Hanzo: I may be human and my strength may not be on par with yours but I got experience on handling a couple of saiyans

Vegeta: hmph seems like you know what you're up against stand aside Yamoshi I'll take care of this

Hanzo: very well then come at me

Vegeta: tch you still doubt me fine HRRAAHHH
