Day 4 (Part 2)

Shrewtail stood in the pouring rain on two paws. He stared down from the rock slide. He had returned to it after he discovered Amberrain's dead body lying under a branch. They were now down to seven tributes as far as he knew. He remembered Amberrain explaining the importance of returning to the rockslide since Tigerslash had found a whole bag of of canned foods that had been trapped under the rockslide alongside Tigerslash. Since the attack on the Dreaders base all their food had been destroyed. Shrewtail wanted to brutally torture the cat who had done that and he was pretty sure it was Shadowfur, since they had killed her little friend.

He stood at the top of the rockslide now waiting to begin his search since the pouring rain had caused the rockslide to become to slippery to even begin trying to walk on it. Shrewtail wondered where Larkwing was for a split second then shook his head. The crazy apprentice loving tom was on his own. Shrewtail had only one goal and that was to kill the rest of the six tributes after the rain stopped and he got his food

BOOM!

A canon went off in the distance. Shrewtail grinned devilishly. Five.

Shadowfur woke from a terrifying dream of her in the dark forest, being torn to shreds by other cats. She shivered from her soaked pelt. The tree Shadowfur rested in wasn't too far from the ground, but Shadowfur hadn't cared. After watching Amberrain kill Tiger then falling on top of Amberrain initially killing her Shadowfur couldn't stop thinking about her fate.

Would she go to the Dark Forest for killing another cat? Or since it was an accident would Starclan bend the rules to accept her. Would she see Shadestripe again? Would she see her kit?

Shadowfur frowned thinking about the kit she gave away. It probably didn't even know she existed. Shadowfur sighed and slowly slipped down from the tree and shook her pelt out.

Shadowfurs racing mind came to a halt when she had only walked a couple fox lengths from the tree she had been sleeping in and noticed a shivering black pelt shivering under some brambles. She stepped closer realizing how small the pelt was. It had to be Ravenpaw of district six. He was the youngest in the games and Shadowfur felt impressed he had made it this far.

"P-p-please make i-i-it quick," the tiny tom whimpered. His voice was croaky as if he hardly ever spoke at all.

Shadowfur laid near the front of the brambles thinking that this might of been how Shadestripe felt when he saw her. What a poor sad little scrap. Shadowfur suddenly made up her mind. She had caused the end of another cats life, she was definitely going to go to the dark forest. So now she was set and determined to help keep this apprentice alive just the way Shadestripe had.

"Don't worry young one, I won't let anyone hurt you."

Larkwing stood in the rain staring at his paws sheathing and unsheathing them. His soaking pelt dripped fasted than the rain poured. All he wanted to do was return home to his sister and help her escape ever joining the games. He'd kill a thousand cats for his sister, she was his only family he had even if she had a different father. However he knew if he died in the arena he'd go to the dark forest and never see his sister. Larkwing breathed in a deep breath. Any other cat could finish Silverpaw off, he couldn't bring himself to. The other cats though were dead meat to him and he'd kill them off one by one.
