Chapter 11
Mira's POV
Rounding the corner of a cluster of trees, the small path we were falling opened into a big grassy area. And it was clear some sort of battle had happened here. Scorch marks dotted the green grass, skid marks pushed the grass back. It was clear to us, that a dragon and a human had clashed here."Gajeel, can you pick anything up?" I asked. Gajeel had an amazing sense of smell. Both of being trained by dragons, meant that our senses were all heightened, just Gajeel's nose was better than mine. I really didn't want to ask Lucy. She was still glaring at Juvia.
After sniffing around, Gajeel replied with "Yeah, but it's faint. After the fight they both went... that way." pointing in front of himself, and stalking towards a path leading to the North. With out a second thought, we all followed.
Jellal's POV
Outside the cave, we stood over looking the grassy plain, trees scattered about. I was still confused. What was it Levy wanted to show me? All I could see was the land, nothing out of the ordinary at a quick glance."So... what did you want to show me?" I asked."That." she simply replied, but as she did she pointed directly in front of her. I looked to where she was pointing, and I saw something I'd missed before. About a mile away, a small group of 7 horses and riders were all galloping towards us. No one had ever got this close before. Who were they?
Romeo's POV: A little ways ahead, a large cave entrance came into view. Was that where they were? My question was answered with a most likely, when we caught a glimpse of 2 dragon tails disappearing through the entrance of the cave. Going into the cave or not was no question. They (as far as we knew) had my big sister! I was going to get her back! Erza could more than handle herself, but still, some dragon had taken away my sister! Erza is the reason I'm still here alive and breathing, and I've been happy since the day she found me. I was just a little boy, alone in the streets, with no home to go to. I was caked in mud and dirt from having to sleep outside. I was slowly starving, because I had to steal food to survive and I hated it, so I was only stealing what I needed, nothing more. Plus I completely stunk! Everyone that walked past just gave me looks of disgust and hate. It wasn't until one day when I was sat in my usual spot, my head in my knees to avoid the horrible looks of bypassers. Then I heard "Hello?" I looked up to see a girl, she looked to be about the age of a teenager. She had long scarlet hair and kind brown eyes. At the time I had no idea who she was. Gently smiling at me, she asked "Are you alone?" I mean it was pretty obvious that I was living on the streets. Silently I nodded, "My father died and I don't have a mum." "Well would you like to come with me? Don't worry I won't bite. You can live with me and my dad, I'm sure I can convince him to let you stay. You'll be looked after and cared for. You'll find a family again." she seemed so sure, helping a random boy get off the streets. I didn't have anything to lose so I went with her, and I'm so glad I did! I'm going to help my big sister!
