|56|: I Didn't Decieve Anyone

Storm looked at his former superhero partner as she looked at him curious.

"He is a very bad person."

"Isn't that something we all know." Memphis entered the conversation.

"Now tell us, Sam. Why'd you not tell us?" Goodie entered as Storm turned to them, he seemed to pick up what was happening.

"Is this staged?" Storm asked slowly.

"If Chase hadn't found that broche on the floor then we wouldn't have suspected you." Goodie reluctantly answered.

"So, yes it was staged." Goodie responded.

"Why didn't you tell any of us?" Goodie asked.

"Tell them, Sam." Memphis yelled.

"He would've destroyed you." Storm finally answered as everything was quiet.

"There was no other option." Sam swallowed as Chase looked to the side.

"The dungeon of fury was." Memphis stated.

"Are villains and superheroes on close terms? No, I didn't think so." Storm stated the fact.

"Well, he's going to pay if he dare harms the special ones." Chase spat as the anger returned back to her body, her wrist started to glow.

"Your wrist is glowing." Memphis noticed.

"That occurs when a villain has a lot of anger coursing through their veins." Goodie nodded his head.

"I didn't deceive anyone. Even your dad said to do this." Chase looked up at Storm with hurt flashing through her eyes, at the mere mention of her father.

"People are going to die, because of those two scumbags. Even I'm not that bad to allow that to happen." Chase lowly stated as she walked off, to see the person that she hadn't seen in a very long time. Her mask pulled up to cover her mouth as her hood was lifted up.

She saw the familiar door and barged in to see her father sitting on his chair and talking to someone important.

"Get out." Chase muttered enough for the person to hear as he did so frantically. Her father stood up to face the intruder.

"Excuse me, you have no right to barge into-." Chase pulled down her mask and flicked off her hood. "-my room."

Chase's father kicked his lips as he'd seen his daughter for the first time in a three years. They would've had some resemblance but Chase's hair had darkened to a different shade of blonde, her face was filled with mystery and danger.

She had grown taller since the last time he'd seen her. Her eye darkened just like her demeanour. Her brows darkened and overall she looked dangerous to mess with, possibly why that man ran out.

"Dianna." Her father softly breathed out. "Please, at least take a seat." Chase took a seat silently as her father did too.

Her father had a powerful built, a towering frame and perfect blonde hair, dark brows and a smile worthy of removing sorrows.

"How have you been?" Chase didn't want to do this, she knew she was running slow on time and needed answers quickly.

"Case #ED281." Was all she said.

"So you know." He noticed as he heaved out a heavy sigh.

"Hyde had it coming, but he dropped out of this grasp-."

"He joined Destroy's side." Chase answered sharply.

"What?" Her father asked in disbelief.

"Now, with Destroy the special ones could die." Chase clenched her fists as her father saw this. The fresh bandages on her knuckles struck out like gold to him.

"I didn't know this would get out of hand." Her father looked tensed.

"Of course you wouldn't since you had decided to dampen his powers instead of sending him to the dungeon of fury or-." Chase cut herself short as her father looked up at her in sync.

There was a short silence among them.

"I see becoming a villain comes with it's packages." Daxton Chase began as he looked at his daughter.

"These are just a reminder that I don't back down." Her voice held power and authority which her father seemed to pick up on.

"Exactly like your mother." He smiled as she looked away.

"She's at home with Karly and Kendall." Chase's eyes lifted up at the mention of her little twin siblings names.

"They still talk about you, you know." Chase swallowed the lump forming in the back of her throat.

Daxton turned to a photo on his desk as he held the frame in his hand, "you were always beautiful, love." He looked up to face Chase as she looked at him.

Daxton turned the photo to face Chase as she stared at the photo, not recognising her previous self.

She had lighter blonde hair, slightly longer hair and bright, luminous eyes that had such happiness in them, she was a lot more shorter then, with slightly lighter brows and less worry on her face. Filled with glee and a beautiful smile upon her face, that hadn't been shown on her face in very long time.

She was wearing her superhero outfit, the look of her past made her heart skip a beat as she blinked and looked away, her father noticing her lack of communication.

She felt her wrist device vibrate signalling the time she had left. One hour and twenty minutes to try and save the special ones from Destroy, before he could do anything to them.

Chase stood up from the chair and looked at her father. "Hyde will follow Destroy's orders. No matter what it takes to get his self-respect back." She licked her lips as she started walking away.

"Dianna." Her father stopped her in her tracks. "I-." He trailed off as Dianna didn't even turn around. She pulled her mask back to cover her mouth and her hood up.

"Forget it." With that, she walked off and found Memphis, Goodie and Sam standing there.

She glanced at them and continued to walk, "when she had her mask and hood up, that means she's out to hurt someone." Memphis recognised as she moved to follow Chase.

Storm and Goodie exchanged glances between each other as they saw the two of them walk off.

Chase and Memphis got back in the car as they saw Avery and Georgia still fast asleep. "You know what to do, right?" Memphis assured Chase as she nodded her head.

The car drive was silent as Chase broke it, "I know that going back to Headquarters 103 is killing you on the inside." Chase focussed on the road as Memphis looked up.

"Whatever happened that day, it's just the past that's been locked up for too long." She breathed out. "Now that I've been given a way, it's a sign to fight back." Memphis answered with full confidence.

She licked her lips and leaned on her arm as she closed her eyes, for a few mere seconds. "I can't change what happened that day, but I can assure that it doesn't happen to other people, ever again." Memphis meant those words truly and Chase heard it from her tone which encouraged even more to take down Destroy.

Chase increased her speed as she had made a couple of turns until she parked at a safe distance. Memphis and Chase exchanged a few looks before getting out of the car.

They saw the lights switched on of the headquarters, with a couple of shadows moving as they knew they had arrived to the right place.

Chase and Memphis nodded their heads as they entered through a secret way, trying to keep themselves camouflaged from being caught by anyone.

"You three think you're so powerful? Look around you boys, no one is here to save you and you can't save yourselves no matter how hard you try too." An automated voice was heard as Chase saw three boys chained and unable to free themselves.

Evan, Logan and Cameron all looked powerless as two figures were standing there.

There was someone standing there, possibly another minion filling in for Hyde, looked like he'd achieved something as the other figure was dressed in the same mask Chase and Memphis both had seen at Joe's gas station.

"Destroy." They both whispered.

"You're not going to gain anything." Destroy called as he saw Cameron shake his hands as the chains rattled.

"The bull's right." Evan nonchalantly answered.

"Ha. Ha." Destroy sarcastically chuckled as he threw a swing at Evan as his dusty ame in contact with Evans's jaw who brushed it off.

"Since Hyde's gone, you got yourself a new minion, Destroy. He's probably powerless just like you are." Evan began again as he felt a blow to his stomach as he sucked a deep breath closing his eyes for a few seconds before opening them up again.

"Hyde has been taken by Disaster. But don't worry about him, worry about yourself." Destroy chuckled.

"Whoever knocked out Hyde has some skill, pretty sure they could take you as well." Evan had another blow to his stomach as he coughed lightly.

"When I get my hands on the person that did that, I'm going to make them pay." Destroy muttered.

"Then why don't you do it." Chase spoke as she entered from the darkness, all three boys looking at her.

"How'd you get in here?" The other minion asked.

"You said you'll make them pay. I'd like to see you try." Chase dangerously stated, ignoring the minion; Destroy started walking towards Chase.

"So, it was you, mystery girl." Chase didn't take off her mask as she swallowed. Her voice altered.

Evan looked at Chase curious as to who this mystery figure could be, Destroy chuckled.

"You have guts, to come face me, all alone." He spat as Memphis stepped out covered from head to toe with her navy coloured mask.

"She's not alone."

"I see you brought a friend along." Destroy chuckled as he got straight to his point. "I'll make your deaths painful." Chase didn't move or flinch as Memphis stood her ground.

Just then, Destroy yelled, "guards!" Out of nowhere, sprang out minions dressed in full black came and circled Memphis and Chase as they didn't flinch once at all, they came at both of them as Chase battled most of them out.

Memphis zapped most of them with her eyes as they rushed back, but she did kick their butts. Knocking them out completely as they ducked or dodged most of the punches the minions threw.

The two had finished the minions as they disappeared from the floor as Destroy looked surprised that they took out the minions almost quickly.

Destroy came at the girls as they both managed to attack him back. "Go, get them." Memphis ordered as Chase moved towards the three boys to see them looking at her confused.

Only for Chase to be stopped as the minion came at her with a silver rod, as he tried to whack her with it, she had dodged most of the hits as he bashed the silver rod on to the machinery as Chase moved away from the metal rod; but took advantages of his footing and extended her leg out. He tripped over her leg as she moved towards the boys to try and reach out only to be shocked retreating her back.

There was a barrier not allowing her any entry.

"Haha! There's a barrier stopping you, mystery girl." Destroy chuckled as Memphis punched him across the face.

"I saw that guy pull a lever, could that get rid of this barrier?" Cameron spoke up as she looked towards him before looking at the control board, as it was half messed up, she quickly scanned the parts to find a red lever as she pulled on it. Only freeing Cameron and Logan, from their chains, Evan still trapped.

"Only a kiss will break free the main one." Destroy chuckled. "But that'd require a lot of power, or else this barrier will blow up." Destroy smirked as Memphis punched him hard again.

"You have to try!" Memphis yelled. "If you don't then this place will blow up." Memphis dodged Destroy's punch.

Chase contemplated with herself, she had the potential to break apart the barrier but to also blow up the place. What was she going to do?
